Time somehow flowed apart from itself. Things didn't take the course they might have. And from there, time has flowed onward into the future...
It has been far long enough now that Lessa and Rammoth have been nearly forgotten, and, although Lessa had jumped back in time... and gone back to bring the Weyrs forward, few listened and came.
And yet, still, most of the Weyrs were to be emptied by a plague. In addition, because fewer and fewer eggs were clutched, it was decided that only one Weyr was needed. And, thus, eventually, all but one Weyr was abandoned.
In her own time while each of the Weyrs still held a small number of dragons, Lessa and F'lar managed to defend Pern from Thread. The few who came and helped, though they were spread thin, did indeed help them in this endeavor. But, if not for the firelizards, the flamethrower, the crews on the ground, and the Wher, whose help was not noted as it should have been, the fate of Pern may have been quite tragic.
However, moving forward in the flow of time, dragons multiplied and were, for a time, their population seemed as though it would be restored as pass after pass came to Pern.
But, soon, another sickness would strike the dragons, killing off most of them and leaving very few of the Golden Queens alive.
But, hope would come in the form of mutations and those dragons who carried the genes of the mutation colors. In this Pern, Holds have been abandoned, and Weyrs as well. Four Weyrs exist now and their Holds.
Tallemarah, now known as the first Weyr, oldest of the new Weyrs.
Kalasia Gold Weyr, born at a time when the sickness seemed to ebb and the need for a new Weyr grew.
Northern Aurora Weyr, located to the icy North where half a Turn there is nothing but darkness and half a Turn there is nothing but sun.
And, finally, Erathan Seacrest Islands Weyr, the rebirth of Seacrest Islands Weyr, which was destroyed by an earthquake that crushed it to pieces. This is where the center of the story takes place. A young Weyrwoman, a brand new Weyr, and a great need for transfer Riders.
However, the story of every place is important.

Hey all! My name is Simile, also having been known as Zara of RMW or hydra21306. I’m going to tell you a little bit about what this Weyr has to offer!
-Brand new and just opened, staff positions are open and up for grabs to anyone who can prove that they will be active, around, trustworthy, and can prove their writing skill.
-A very flexible world and premise, we acknowledge that the original concept of DragonRiders of Pern belongs to Anne McAffrey and that nothing in the Weyr is to be associated with her, we are willing to give anyone a chance to propose and work plots so long as they discuss and go over details with the administrators!
-A very open world in which you are welcome to play at any Weyr or Hold you desire.
-An experimental RP board set-up that will be tested for a month to come after this that is meant to promote large scale roleplays between multiple people as well as leave the possibility for one on one rps. If anyone remembers how guild boards used to be set up, this style mimics their set-up, making a unique thread for each place based on a date system which is, as planned, to be changed at regular intervals that you may be able to help determine.
-A staff (or at least a Sr. Weyrwoman at this point) open to suggestions, critique, and ideas for colors, plots, and so on.
-Friendly staff who will look out for the members well being to the best of their ability.
-Everyone is welcome!
Some facts:
-This Weyr is Non-canon and is very open to the ideas of its members.
-Opening day, so not very members or activities just yet, but I am guaranteed to be on for at least a while each day and I hope that we can make this a very active site.
-This Weyr started out as a double Weyr between NAW and ESIW and took a total of two years to create only to be recreated into the version that you see before you now, which took almost another year to recreate.
