Yamina looked around. It was nice here, she decided. Where she was standing appeared to be one of few places to see everything. To one side there was a stable and a pen of some sorts, filled with animals. She could see the glint of sunlight off water, so she knew there must be a lake or something not far from where she stood. Then there was the mountain before her. And from that mountain things flew, colors brilliant and dazzling and beautiful. Dragons.
Yamina grinned. She had traveled far to come to this place. She would have her own dragon. That much she was sure about. Yamina wouldn’t take no for an answer. With that in mind she walked towards the mountain, her shoulders squared and a look of pure glee on her face.

Chloe wandered around the weyr, even though it was during the day, she had woken up and decided to stretch her legs. In her wanderings she came across a girl scanning the area with a grin on her face. "Are you knew here," Akira rubbed her eyes and added, "The view is amazing huh?"

Something-someone- was always watching. After all, really, the Weyr was never unguarded, even at the borders. Especially after recent incedents...so there was usually SOMEONE keeping watch on a two mile radius, and another at a one-mile perimiter. So it was absolutely certain that one certain tiger-striped brown had been keeping an eye on the young visitor with some curiosity. He'd tried to not be conspicuous, of course, and he'd managed well enough so far- he was high enough that she perhaps wouldn't see one dragon as odd when many others circled, and when it was so easy to blink between to the next checkpoint.
In fact, he simply forced Robin Hood to take over the watch as he dropped like a stone toward the ledge he shared with his beloved girl, calling out with a mental alert that had the young woman stumbling muzzily to the ledge. Ari attempted to look alarmed, but simply managed confused. Dracouth landed, settling gently on all fours in a crouch, and nudged her with his muzzle. Love! Put pants on. We must see this newcomer. "Mprghyl. Wha...?" Ari adjusted the loose tank-top she had dropped into bed in, and fumbled around for loose cargo pants. She stopped to examine her short red hair, but Dracouth just swiped a tongue across her head and judged her to look fine.
So she scrambled onto his back, balancing easily with a long-practiced ease, and Dracouth betweened back to where he'd seen the hiking girl. And literally dropped out of the sky almost on top of her.
"G'job, Couthie." Ari grumbled, sliding off her dragon's foreleg and trying to look menacing as she flung a hand out toward the girl. "You! Don't you know private property when you see it? I highly doubt this is a place for mere travellers." She tried to sound intimidating, hoping it was just a lost tourist from Kalispell, but doubting that severely. And she knew her Istan accent showed through; no one on Earth had one quite like it. Also, she had a gigantic brown crouched at her back, wings mantled menacingly. This was a situation she was far less than pleased with. Perhaps she should have gotten the Weyrleaders...oh well. No time for that. She glanced over, spying an unfamiliar handler not to far away, and she frowned. Damn. Better try to do her New Weyr proud, at least.
"Explain yourself." She didn't sound intimidating, but Dracouth did that for her. "Have you business here?"

Yamina paused as a girl came seemingly out of no where. She was nice enough, immediately attempting to strike up a conversation with the foreigner. Yamina just looked at her with confusion. She wasn't entirely sure on what the girl was talking about, her English being spotty at best.
Then suddenly a huge brownish creature came from the sky, a woman jumping off it's back. She threw her hand out as if to stop Yamina from advancing. Yamina paid close attention to what she was saying, ruminating over the words. The woman had the strangest accent; one Yamina had never heard before. But the words were the same.
"Business? I have come to to Eempress a dragone. Ees vhat not vhat thees place ees foor?" Yamina asked, her own odd Russian accent clearly obvious in her speech.
