Weakness is the mind killer! (Miyuki/Fayeth)

Kumiko sat against Raynith's shoulder, enjoying the day. Even though it was cold and there was snow, it was a good day. The sun was out and shining and Raynith felt very good indeed. She had barely lost her breath while hunting at the feeding grounds.

Raynith crooned softly, sunning herself. She had eaten heavily at the feeding grounds, and the warm-ish sun was just what she needed to relax. Her eyes were closed and Hers was leaning against her. Nothing could make this moment better, in the green's opinion.

There was the distinct sound of footsteps in snow, the sort of crunching that was unmistakable. Miyuki was shivering slightly, her hands stuffed in her coat pockets, a scarf around her mouth and nose as she walked.

Beside her, a much greater shape moved. Heavy clawed feet thumped surprisingly lightly along the path, and the only noise other than her faint footsteps was the slighty 'shushing' of Fayeth's tail as it dragged behinder her through the snow. Of course she could have held it up, but the gold found she liked the sound it made, so she kept it low.

Her breaths came heavy, though, as she stalked to the feeding ground, and she paused outside the fence, panting. Miyuki glanced up at her, worried, but the gold hushed her with a thought.
No, no. I am fine. Stop looking at me like that. She said wearily, sounding testy. Miyuki's eyes widened imperceptably, and she then scowled.

"Like what? You think I'm looking at you funny? Pardon ME for being worried about you, Fay-chan." The odd honorific made Fayeth sigh, and the gold's expression softened.
I would just like to rest a moment. Perhaps you could greet Kumiko and Raynith? I have heard say that she speaks the same as you, beloved.

Without waiting for an answer, Fayeth raised her huge head and let out a low, delicate greeting. Miyuki flushed red, and then covered her face with her scarf. "I'm sorry! We didn't mean to disturb you!"

I was greeting them. YOU disturbed them, love.

Kumiko looked about. It wasn't hard to notice the large gold. But her rider was a different matter. When Kumiko finally say Miyuki she smiled.

"You are not disturbing us! We would welcome company!" Kumiko called over.

Raynith added her greeting to Fayeth's. The green also beckoned the gold pair over to sit with them.

Miyuki 'yeeped' slightly, but headed over to the pair with a shy smile. "So you speak Japanese too, do you? I admit, it's really very nice to hear my own language again." She said by way of greeting.

Fayeth just lumbered over, and dropped onto her side by the green with a huff of weariness. She daintily bowed her head to the green as a greeting, and re-settled her wings at her back.

"Eeeeh. How are you not cold?" Miyuki said finally, wth a grimace.

((No, no, pardon me.))

"I am cold, but it doesn't bother me. It is rejuvenating." Kumiko smiled. Kumiko waved for Miyuki to sit with them. "It is nice to hear a familiar language. I hear tell that Faizah and her sisters speak Japanese as well.
