Relanth sent a mental affirmative to Odiketh, walking slowly beside the terrified white.
"I will walk with you Odiketh. I won't let it get you, my friend."
Darwin trilled at the little green, flexing his wing muscles. He was acting the fool!
Tahli chuckled at her flit, not believing that he was flirting. She turned to Kye and waved. She was a bit upset that Relanth was paying a bit more attention to Odiketh than her at the moment, but Relanth could panic easy. He was keeping himself sane while helping Odiketh.

((OHGOD> I'd totally forgotten. Oops. Sorry Odi. -sneaks into other posts- Wow, there's a number of redheads at Rocky. Poor Odiketh!))
There was a brief pause as Kye tried to figure this out, then a surprisingly creative bit of swearing that was probably rather innapropriate.
"Son of a..." He growled, running a hand through his hair as if just realizing it's color. "I don't think I've ever had the urge to apologize as much as now..." He jerked the hood of his coat over his head, doing his best to hide his hair. "Is that gonna help any?"
Scout burbled her confusion, and jumped from hers' arms to flit around him, questioning everyone frantically. She landed next to Logan and squeaked, then hissed at Uffizi. So the prettywhiteone didn't like red? She crooned sadly and kicked a bit of sand in Kye's direction, apparently attempting to muddy the color of his hair by burying him, one teaspoon of sand at a time.
Kye did not appreciate the effort, and glared at the fire lizard in annoyance. "Logan, sorry, yeah. Really, I'm really sorry. I don't want to scare him... Would it be better if I leave?" He glanced over at the white, already moving back behind a tree to try to advoid the dragon's line of sight. He did smile at the young women, throwing them a hasty wave.
Scout was quickly distracted from her sandy business by the brown, and she stopped to march over and sniff at him. She crooned appreciatively at the display, and sent him a tentative greeting, including the bronze and the white flits in the message.

Lyrah smiled, her brown eyes twinkling in amusement. "Here, let me help." She went over, and after looking critically at his hair red hair for a moment, she pushed some stray strands back into the hood, then pulled it just a little lower on his head."There." She said, finally.
"I'm Lyrah by the way, and this is Kyrinth-" she said, motioning to her young-if large-brown dragon "-and Snowfire. We're from Fort Weyr, and we're new here. We've met no one our age around."
Kyinth rumbled out an affirmative, and swung his head toward his rider, carefully nosing around so as not to knock anything over. She smiled and gently laid her hand on his neck. Snowfire whistled and leapt to him, clinging to Kyinth's neck. Kyinth snorted.
He swung his head bsck around, facing as best he could the others. It's good to meet you. Finally they'll have something else to do, other than interupting my naps!

Tahli smiled at the red-haired handler. She wondered what he was doing out during the day. She looked over to Relanth, who was clearly picking up on Odiketh's stress. She groaned as the waves of frustration emanated from her blue.
"Tahli, Minelove, I am sorry to stress you, but Odiketh is terrified of that man."
Darwin cheeped and nuzzled the green. He projected an image of her back, all shiny and beautiful. He hovered slightly and turned to the White and The Bronze. He trilled to them both, his eyes whirling several colors and images of wherry-things and soft clouds with birdy-birds flapflapping by. He was being a fool, and he enjoyed it.

When her new friend felt distressed at the new arrival, Quith was confused. He smelled like nice, so what was there to fear? But she hummed encouragement and reassurance to him, wishing her friend to become happy again. It is ok, WhiteOdiketh. We are here as friends to you.Mine, he is afeared of the red. The new person has red hair. After a thoughtful pause, Quith said,Ahhh! I see. err-figuratively. it is very sad that he cannot properly appreciate his vision.
Shasta looked on silently at all of the proceedings. she watched peoples reactions and outward expressions of emotion. When Odikeths terror for red became apparent, she touched her own copper locks. But her worry left when she realized that orange was apparently not in his category of 'Fear'.
She was glad when everything calmed down and introductions continued. She decided to remain quiet until someone inquired after her, she not wanting to interrupt anybody. As she observed everyone, Jas popped out of the ether and, after circling over Shasta and deciding that she was ok, flew over to Quith.
Before landing between her wings, Jas sent Quith a picture of her surroundings and feelings of affection to let her know it was him. Ignoring the other dragons, he trilled happily at his companion and curled up for a nap.
After giving a quick burble of laughter, Quith felt compelled to introduce her little friend. This is Jas. He can be quite a card sometimes.
