((OOC: Well, Faizah says to get things moving so I'm going to move things along. We'll just pretend the Shasta already got her graduation certificate. And since Phazzy is around, I won't skip Hy'ka.))
Weyrlingmaster L'gar L'gar waited until Greenrider Shasta had taken her certificate before going on to the next graduating Weyrling. They were now done with the regular dragonriders. Now, he'll start calling on the graduating Chimera Weyrlings. With a glance down on his list, he called out to, "Chimera Bluerider Hy'ka of Blue-Green Brynath!"

Hy'ka & Brynath
Bouncing in his seat, Hy'ka could hardly wait for L'gar to get through the other weyrlings, so that they would reach the chimera weyrlings, and he would become a full-fledged rider. He had been a weyrling for long enough, and finally he would graduate. Brynath chuckled in his mind.
Calm down, Hy'ka... You will get your turn!
I know...! Don't patronize me, Brynath! he scoffed.
Minutes later, L'gar called out the weyrling's name, and he jumped up, a wide grin on his face. He practically skipped up to the stage. He shook L'gar's hand, and took his certificate, in an almost awkward fashion, then beamed as he made his way back to his seat.

Weyrlingmaster L'gar L'gar smiled as Hy'ka came up the stage to get his certificate. Barely glancing back down on his list, L'gar called out to the next graduating Chimera Weyrling. "Chimera Bluerider Tag of Blue-Green Halderoth!"

Halderoth was happy to stand regally and pace with all the patience of a queen to the stage, however, it's rider seemed more apt to rushing up, breathless and more excited than the dragon had assumed. But Hal just chuckled, and shrugged it off with a hint of pride- they were full riders now, so perhaps they could afford a little frivolity now, hmm?
Tag just beamed like there hadn't really ever been anything better in his life (and, from the stage, saw the equally bright grin of his sister in the audience) and saluted L'gar cheerfully.

Weyrlingmaster L'gar And as L'gar watch Tag salute, L'gar now comes to the last on his list. With another loud voice, he called out to, "Chimera Greenrider Nakia of Green-Gold Isath!" And with that, it'll be Whermaster Kye's turn to give the rest of the certificates to the graduating Wherlings.

Nakia grinned, standing slowly. As if she had all the time in the world. And at the same time it gave her a regal look. And it was exactly what Nakia wanted. She was the Junior Weyrwoman. She had to look the part, and she was certainly acting the part.
As was Isath. Freshly oiled and her gorgeous green gold hide gleaming, Isath pranced forward. She was the most wonderful dragon there, and she was acting the part. She believed it, why shouldn't she? She nodded to Zederoth, pranced a full circle, before going over and taking a spot next to Ryath.
Nakia accepted her certificate, then walked calmly and regally back to her seat. She had a soft grin on her face, knowing that she had attracted attention.

Kye, seeming to remember he had a job to do, you know, cleared his throat and nodded to L'gar. The bronzehandler girl, she was past (and he was glad, because she'd given Kyesk and him no end of problems) and he glanced back at the list.
"Riley, of Brown Risk." He couldn't escape the bit of pride in his voice at the name, and even though the lean blonde man gave him a sharp look (boy had a holder's pride, there) nothing further passed between them as the brownhandler and the bronzehandler exchanged a handshake and Kye handed off the certificate.
Risk seemed quite proud, as proud as the stoic brown ever was, and Kye rumbled a pleased, proud greeting as the brown marched past. Riley returned to the seats, crossing his legs at the ankle and looking, generally, really bored.
Kye tried not to laugh again. Kid just looked so... entitled. Teenagers, really.
Then again, his next name was anything but a teenager, and he did NOT hide his bit of caution as he spoke her name. "Trinity, of Blue Trinsk."

Kye greeted the blue wherhandler politely. He was proud enough of her but the next name made him twitch slightly. His bronze wher warbled at the blue as they passed and the quiet creature was happy enough too. He didn't care for the other whers being as solitary as he was but he understood his master's pride and joy in this event.
"Sasha of white...Sashask." Man that was a difficult name. Still he smiled and Kyesk stood alert to greet the new pair.

Trinity did not speak, did not even fully acknowledge anyone's presence but that of the Wherlingmaster and that of Trinsk plodding alongside her, his happy burbling noises the only show of pride he was making for either of them. Kye got a sharp sneer of contempt, (Trinity STILL objected to her status as a 'handler) and the certificate was nearly snatched away as she stalked back to her seat. Kain and L'gar got nearly fully ignored, even if Trinsk did squeal an uncomfortable greeting to the Weyrleader as he passed. Trinity stopped long enough to snap her fingers and the little blue raced after her, apologizing with an array of picture-color-messages in her mind.
The blonde woman sat back, crossing her legs at the ankles and went back to pretending the world rather didn't exist. Trinsk tried to eat a bug.
Funny, it was, that the last two names on the list of wherhandlers happened to be the two possibly least-liked handlers in the weyr proper. (Trinsk, at least, was pleasant, even if his bonded was not, but no one could say the same for the monster of a wher that lumbered up next.)
Sashask hissed warily at the assembled crowd- hers had bene keeping her and himself away and seperated from the rest, knowing full well his charge's bad temper and tendency to misbehave. And indeed, Sashas tried to bite the leg of the nearest rider they passed, only restained by a shap, frigid mental command and the thick leather around her neck.
The white wher was in no mood to play up the audience, and as her handler ordered her to cooperate, the gold-sized creature just sulked and cast rather hungry looks at the flitters in the air above. What would they taste like, she wondered...?
Sasha sighed, and bowed rather formally to Kye- he had no ill will toward the man, even if he also had no good will. He accepted the certificatre with a murmur of heavily-accented thanks, and the same went toward L'gar and Kain. The european scientist could hardly have ever pictured himself in a situation like this, but all in all, it was certainly more interesting now than being broke and jobless back home.
At least here he had pleny of research to get back to... if Sashask would simply stop trying to eat the passerby.
He kneed her sharply in the side, behind her second set of forelegs- didn;t do much, with the thick padding of fat layered over her muscle, but it caught her attention before she could finish the thoiught about biting Kain.
He whispered an apology for her in Russian and dragged her away.
