((Do you want the government to take the little green? If so I can edit this post so Faizah and Ammon appear with scientists to capture her for further study.)) (( OOC: Ooo, plottage. I don't mind. Maybe have the government people interrupt whatever Iggent was about to do to the little green wher hatchling. They can have her for study or if they are lucky enough to get her to Impress to one of them. XD))

~I don't mind. Iggesk isn't the type of character to shy away from killing, but I think he would be relieved if he got to tell Samari that the Green survived. Iggesk would enjoy telling Samarsk as well.~

Samari and Gold Samarsk As Samari herded the others away, she saw Faizah arriving in a bit of hurry with strangers with her. When she heard Faizah shout, 'Wait!' Samari stopped in her tracks and waited. However, what Faizah said next was not something that Samari was expecting. 'Is that green wild? You're not planning to kill her, are you? Ammon brought some people who want to take any wild whers we get and study them. They want to better understand them.' After Faizah was done speaking, all Samari could do was stare wide-eyed at the Weyrwoman. She looked over to the oblivious green wher hatchling who was still stuffing herself with food then back to the Weyrwoman.
Samarsk who had been on her way out of the hatching Grounds, had stopped to wonder what the Weyrwoman was doing there since it was not a dragon hatching currently occurring. Samarsk also noticed the strangers and what they had carried along with them. She back-stepped away from them and growled at their appearance. She did not like them one bit and would have snapped at them if they dared to come near her.
Samari mentally shook herself and answered the Weyrwoman. "Yes, that little green wher hatchling is wild." Samari replied pointing to the adorable green wher hatchling. At the question of whether they were going to kill off the little one, Samari replied with, "Not me, but Iggent is prepared to. After all, wild whers are very dangerous and they are always killed off if the wher hatchlings do not Impress." Samari was not believing her ears when Faizah said that Ammon and his people were interested in the wild wher. Samari was torn between letting Iggent kill off the green wher hatchling or let the wher hatchling live at the expense of being studied for the rest of her life. Wouldn't killing her be more humane? Samari silently thought to herself.
Samarsk had heard the Weyrwoman's speech and approaching to stand by Hers, she asked Hers a question, Little Green be okay if go with them? but had let Iggesk hear the question she had asked Hers also. She would rather that her little one live, but not if it meant that her life would be miserable in the future.
Samari looked beside her Gold Wher and scratching near Samarsk's eye ridge, she replied with, "I don't know, Love. We'll ask." Turning to the Weyrwoman, Samari asked, "Would she be treating good while they study her?" as she gestured as the little green hatchling and then at the strangers that had arrived at the sands.

Faizah sighed, obviously having arrived just in time. Ammon stepped up, more than ready to answer the questions the gold handler had asked. At a nudge from Faizah, however, Ammon first bowed to the gold Samarsk. Faizah did the same.
Ammon turned once more to Samari. "Study isn't exactly what they're planning to do. While blood may be taken occasionally to study, she would essentially have no contact with humans. There is an area that is closed in where she will be placed and allowed to roam freely. We have cameras stationed around so we can watch her. We want to know more about dragonkin, and by observing them in a natural habitat is the best way to do so. The little green will not be harmed at all. The transport crate is more than large enough to accomodate herm and she will be given more than enough food and essentials that she needs to grow and thrive." Ammon finished.
Faizah nodded, adding to what Ammon had said. "I've been over there and it is a wonderful place. It's no more than an hour horse ride from here, and far from innocent people to be of harm. There's an abundance of wildlife she can hunt, and she even has her own pond and small waterfall for water and bathing."
The scientist then approached. "The only thing she would miss is a mate. And we are currently working with them to see if they could send over a blue or brown for comparisons of males and females, and so that she would have a mate. Faizah has told us that there is no way to stop dragonkin from going into their heat."
(Crappy, but nothing better came to mind...)

((OOC: meh, I was kinda hoping that Wesku would post for Iggent and Iggesk. But he might be busy so I might as well post so we can close this thread.))
Samari listened to the Government Official as he explained what would happen to the wild green hatchling. From his explanation, it would seem that the wild green wher would be cared for, if from a distance, and that she would be allowed to roam freely in an area that the government have reserved for the wild wher to use. In addition, Weyrwoman Faizah's speech let her know that the place would be a good thing to happen for the little wild wher. Samari looked at Samarsk, pondering the decision.
Samarsk had also listened as the man explained what would happen to her youngest. She liked what she heard and with a mental nod of agreement, she told Hers and Iggesk her decision. Little one be safe. Little one can go. Samarsk told Hers.
Hearing Samarsk's decision, Samari didn't anything more to say so she let Weyrwoman Faizah know. "Samarsk says that it's okay to take her." Then looking over at the Scientist, she added, "Please take care of her." Samari looked over at Iggent hoping that she had made the right decision for the letting the wild wher live on in a place that the government people had created.
Samarsk satisfied all around that none of her wher hatchlings had died, called to Hers to leave the Hatching Grounds, she needed to eat now that she no longer needed to watch over her clutch of eggs.
Samari, looked once more at the wild green hatchling and turned around to follow after her Gold Wher. Orn was nowhere in sight and Samari was just glad that the bronze flit hadn't arrived at the hatching to be a pest like he usually did.
((OOC: I am seeing a future plot where the wild whers escape the government facility. XD))
