And then, Tad was holding a firelizard. It was, indeed, white, but with markings across its haunches and shoulder. For a moment, it was all he could do not to laugh, but he quickly remembered that he had to feed it. To cement the bond and make it want to stay with him instead of flying off somewhere.
He broke off an even smaller piece of meat to feed to the tiny creature...of course, it had a fair bit of growing to do.
But the amusement was still there. "Well, at least you'll be easy enough to name." The black flecks across haunches and shoulder were...a strangely familiar pattern. "Cobweb." The white turned his head towards the voice, then focused back on the food.
Cobweb. After the pony he had had as a child...the pony who had had fleabitten grey markings in such a similar pattern, and who was now long dead of old age. And it was such a fitting name for this one...he really did look like he had cobwebs on him.
OOC: I can't stop laughing...the black markings on the sprite, except for the tail, really DO almost exactly resemble a pony I used to know called Cobweb. This one's awesome
