Okay. So...basically, my problem on sites is that I tend to make a lot of characters, because I am always too interested in creating new people to roleplay.
Honestly, though, I've never really ever NOT been able to handle the ones I make, even though in some cases it goes into numbers like...eleven. Yes, I think I had around ELEVEN separate characters in one roleplay. (It was forum-based like this, so it wasn't eleven in one post, though. Oi.)
But that's not my point. Yet. What i wanted to know is IS there a character limit here? Because I have ideas floating around for at least two more characters. (Not counting the two wher handlers I just posted.) I'm realtively certain I can play all characters evenly and without losing any, or use them for cannon fodder and make them disappear logically If I end up being able not to.
BUT THAT IS ALSO NOT MY POINT.
My point is: I need feedback/suggestionson a character's idea, but I also need to see if it would get approved.
So here it is, feel free to mess around and give me suggestions.
She's some sort of Earth woman, lives mostly alone in Australia.
(She's a very misanthropic lady, and a historian with a thing for hiking.)
She has a large number of firelizards-3. (all three found while walking around in the wilderness one day. There were seven eggs, but only three hatched. The others were dead, or eaten by Dingoes.)
Now the part I want help with is this- her wher/dragon (no idea which) finds her. Like...goes between and finds her. In Australia. On Earth. Yeah.
I was thinking a white wher might possibly be able to do that...but the dragon part was unlikely. Like...IMPOSSIBLY Unlikely.
So I thought wher. I was also thinking the wher's original handler somehow ended up on Earth with said wher (maybe brought for some reason with some dragons on a recon mission to find some firelizards that had hatched wild on earth?) and the handler died or something. (There's many deadly things in australia.)
The wher was alone, and managed to fend for itself, but never could find the dragons again. Then it found this lady, liked her, and re-bonded.
But I wanted to have her sort of randomly show up at Rocky and be all like..."Hi! Is this the place with all the dragons?" And have people go "...wat."
Ha. Um. Yeah. Pardon my terrible grammar up there but I'm tired and slightly drunk on mountain dew. (I'm uber-caffinated.)
My other thought was the same character, but she actually ends up impressing on Pern, to a -colorhere- dragon with the defect of being absolutely mute. Like...COMPLETELY so. It can't make any sound, and can't mindspeak at all. No emotions, no words, no images. She doesn't know it's name untill it finds a way to pretty much claw it into the ground after it begins to pick up how to write with it's tail.
I actually just kind of like the defect. The Wher fits better with her story, but I love the dragon...ohwell.
Those are my thoughts. What do you think?
Also: Feel free to swipe the defect if anyone wants to play with it. it was just floating around my brain, really.
