There was no possible way. One night, one stinking Flight, and everything was ruined. She was destroyed.
She was pregnant, and on a war path.
Half of her room was destroyed, pictured cracked, vases smashed, books town. Even her top of the line tablet, computer, TV, and smartphone was lying in pieces all over the place.
And for once, Eturynth chose not to be in the middle of everything. She had also warned Bastet, Goof, and Venus away from her.
Gorth, could you perhaps ask your Rider to go to Mine's weyr? she asked from her place on the cliffs above the wreakage. Her voice was oddly subdued and carried hints of what was happening. At that very moment, a much louder crash eminated from what was left.
Alex had somehow managed to be cool, calm, and collected throughout the visit to the doctors in the infirmary. She had calmly thanked them for their time and patience, walked primly back to her room, shut the door, and then, only then, did she let her emotions show.
It was not a pleasant sight.

((One thing. If they are not in the Infirmiry, this needs to be moved...))
He is on his way. Gorth told Eturynth from his bed in the weyr.
Kain was already headed to Alex's weyr, and he could already hear the crashing of things. He hoped it wasn't coming from her weyr, but he knew his luck wasn't that good. He only wondered what she was so upset about, and why Eturynth had called to him...
Kain knocked lightly on the door, listening to the smashing of things that was happening in the room before him. With a shudder, he again wondered what the cause of this was.

((I know, but I can do virtually nothing. I can't change places....I tried.
Why do I always do this!?!?!?!?!?))
Alex was out of things to destroy. She did not have the strength to rip apart a mattress of fling her bed-frame, and the solid wood table and chairs were much to heavy and sturdy to do much of anything with. So there was, in fact, a temporary lull in the noise emanating from the trio of rooms when Kain knocked.
She swung the door open, wrath flaming in her eyes and outraged face. She could have just walked off of a magazine cover, for, as usual, she was spotless in beautiful clothes and flawless make-up. In no way dishevelled, she was a stark difference from the destroyed remains of her weyr behind her.
Seeing Kain standing there, acting as if he did not know what had happened (Eturynth chose not to point out that he probably didn't), only enraged the Greenrider even more. She did the thing that had made many a man angry through the years. She reached back and slapped him hard enough that she may have left a hand print shaped bruise on his face.

Kain was surprised when Alex answered the door, not a strand of hair out of place despite the mess of her weyr. But he was more surprised, and more than a little enfuriated, when she went and slapped him for no reason. Kain clenched his fists, his anger obvious in his stance. His cheek throbbed, but he would be damned if he rubbed it like it hurt. Instead he looked at Alex with sparking eyes. "You better have a damn good reason for that, weyrling..." He growled through clenched teeth. Outside, Gorth's own cry of outrage was heard. It was cut off halfway, however, as if he remembered that they could not be making so much noise. His anger at the injustice of how Alex had treated His was obvious, however, and could be felt by the entire weyr. ((Sorry for short post. And I moved it for you. ))

((No problem and thanks!))
"As if you don't know!" she hissed in return.
Eturynth could have winced at her Rider's antics. Now was not the time for such actions, and she was making far too many mistakes. The Green glanced at Gorth as he voiced his outrage. Before the day was done, everyone was going to be in a horrble mood. And all because of her, herself! Eturynth did not know whether to be pleased or worried at the thought. Worried would most likely be the wiser choice.
Alex spun around, hair flying, as she searched once more for something to vent her anger on. She had already destoryed much of what she had, as well as a few things she didn't.
AlexSweet, Eturynth finally murmured, no one has had a chance to tell him, yet. Stop with your destruction and tell him what he needs to know.
The Rider resisted listenning to the Green for a few moments, struggling to deny her logic. But it was, frankly, impossible for Alex to ignore her more than that.
After a few moments - moments that seemed like eternities each - she finally sighed and turned around slowly. Anger still flickered in her gold eyes, but she looked much more calm and in-control.
The one real object of evidence she had of being infuriated was her clenched fists at her side.

Kain stayed where he was, his own fists clenched at his side. "You better explain yourself, because I have no idea what in hell you're talking about." Kain said, his teeth still cleanched.
He watched Alex march through her room, her anger still obvious. But she seemed to calm down a few moments later, turning back around to stare at him. Her fists were clenched at her sides, but Kain was less worried about that than about her violent mood swings. He had hoped Impressing a dragon would calm her down, but apparently that hadn't been the case.
If Kain's memory served him right, Eturynth was almost as bad as Alex. Except now the green seemed to be contrite. Maybe the green was trying to calm her rider...? Kain mentally shrugged it off. It wasn't important at that matter. Right now he had to figure out why Alex seemed so pissed at him, and preferrably before she went off slapping other people...

Well, what was she to say now? If memory served her correctly, he had a different child on the way from another woman within the Weyr. She was silent, gazing at him with a cold look of complete indifference on her face. She would, give up any clever remarks and sly manipulations today. Yes, it would be much easier and simpler to just tell him.
"Make the nursury bigger, Weyrleader. You are going to be the father of two."
She swung back around and stalked to her rumpled bed, climbing on top and leaning back against the headboard. Her eyes sparkled dangerously, a warning to those who would say the wrong things. Great things could come from saying things correctly, just as saying the wrong things could cause disasters.

Kain went still. Had Alex really said what he think she had said...? Was she pregnant, with his child? It was possible. Gorth had chased and won her green... He shook slightly, thinking about possibly having another child. And one that would be only a few months younger than the first...
He sighed, glancing over at Alex. What could he say to her? He behavior now made perfect sense to the bronzerider. But he didn't know what he could do. Comforting Reya had been easy. She was distraught about him possibly not wanting to be part of the baby's life. Kain didn't believe Alex had the same insecurities...
"What do you want me to say?" He asked in a quiet voice. He really was at a loss.

Alex closed her eyes, leaning her head back and resting it there. She didn't know what she wanted to hear. She was definate about her opinion of having a baby, but she wasn't sure past that.
"I don't know, okay Kain? Simple as that." She opened her eyes, revealing a tired, almost confused glimmer in them. She turned her head a little, watching Kain as he continued to stand in the doorway. Finally she sighed and, at the prompting of a very stern Green dragon, said, "I'm sorry about slapping you. Come sit down?"
She leaned her head back again, eyes studying the cieling far above.

Kain felt even more at a loss when she said she didn't know what she wanted him to say. He wasn't sure what he should say! Things had gotten far too hectic, far too quickly.
"I'm sorry about slapping you. Come sit down?" Kain heard Alex say.
He looked around the destroyed room, wondering where she expected him to sit. With the exception of the bed, it didn't look like there was anywhere to sit. He laughed, an almost bitter sound, as he leaned heavily against the doorframe.
"Where would you like me to sit?" He asked.
((Sorry for short post.))

Her lips tightned, eyes flashing danderously for a moment before extinuishing under the press of Eturynth's thoughts. "I know I made it a bit messy in here, but there is the bed, two chairs, and a couch!" she snapped. And there was. The bed was perhaps the least hazardous. The chairs were n their sides, amid the broken fagments of a desktop computer and all the chemicals that it entailed. The couch was covered in glass fragments of something - you couldn't tell lexactly what. The bed, on the other hand, seemed touched only by some torn pages of a book that would need to be rebought.
Her head fell forward to rest on her knees as Eturynth mentally screeched at her for her seeming inability to control her emotions. Why, she seethed, did she need to suddenly need to lose her cool when the Weyrleader, the one that could either create or destroy whatever reputation she had, was around! It was lunacy, she hissed, to continue on in this way.
The young Greenrider sighed once more, peeking out through the gaps between her arms and legs toward Kain. "Sorry'" she mumbled.

Kain sighed, walking into the trashed room and over to the bed. It was indeed the least hazardous of the offered seats. Not to mention, he would be next to Alex in case she needed some comforting. It was the least he could do for the woman that was carrying his second child.
He took a seat on the bed, awkwardly, and looked at Alex. He wasn't sure what to do. She seemed obviously distraught, and her mood swings seemed violent. He wished he had a better idea about what the young woman needed from him, but for the life of him Kain just couldn't figure it out.
Instead he decided to ask. "Do you need anything, Alex?"
