The sign on the door leading to H'vas and Cherath's quarters reads "Proceed with Caution". As you walk in, you see several posters of male models from Earth. Pink sharpie hearts have been drawn on some of H'vas' favorites. A computer is on a desk to the right. He uses it for music collecting. He has a plush leather couch and love seat. If you go straight back from the living room, you'll see the door to H'vas' room.
Here is where things get interesting. He doesn't have a true door, but one of those bead curtains. It forms a shape of a green dragon flaming. It is supposedly Cherath. His bed is HUGE. Its a king sized. It is a very cushy memory foam mattress.. Candles and sticks of incense litter his shelves. His room is dimly lit. His bed is adorned with silk sheets and red velvet pillows. He has a large walk in closet on the left side of his room, and a personal bathroom on the right of his room. A bookshelf with all sorts of "mature" literature can be found on the left hand side of the doorway. Dart's bed is placed on top of this bookshelf.
After you back out of H'vas' bedroom, you can turn left to find the main bathroom. It is also large, like H'vas' bedroom. It has a deep bath tub to the right and a big communal shower area off to the left. There are several glamor mirrors on the vanity at the back of the room. The cabinets below the mirrors and sinks house scented bath oils, beads, and soaps. These are used on his flit and himself.
After leaving the spacious bathroom, you turn right and head towards Cherath's weyr. Its not very decorated, but there are some dim lights for navigation at night. Cherath sleeps on a bed of soft grasses and feathers. Yes, Cherath has a mattress. H'vas made it himself just for his precious green.

It had been what... two, three days since that incident at the feeding grounds? H'vas made the offer for H'yka to visit him at his weyr. Hy'ka didn't decline, but he didn't exactly accept it either. In fact, the weyrling did spend the last couple of days trying to avoid the rider at all costs. Brynath was hardly old enough to Rise! Though Hy’ka had gotten into some interesting relationships back on Pern, he didn’t want to start anything serious at Rocky, not until Brynath Rose anyway. (Wasn’t that an odd concept? His male dragon Rising?)
Yet, he felt drawn toward H’vas. There was something special between them, HY’ka made that random conclusion just yesterday. Soon after leaving the feeding grounds, Hy’ka wandered the weyr. He avoided the door that lead to H’vas’ weyr. He deliberately passed it multiple times, but ignored the urge to knock; not like the rider would be in there anyway. He was still at the feeding grounds. Now, a few days later, H’vas was sure to be in his weyr. A part of Hy’ka hoped for him to be away.
You do not have to visit him... Brynath said, acting as a shoulder guide to the distressed weyrling. The blue was certainly feeling the emotions from Hy’ka, and in an attempt to calm him, tried to talk him out of going to the older rider. Do you want me to talk to Cherath? Or you could talk to him over dinner. Somewhere away from his weyr.
No, I’ve got this. Hy’ka took a deep breath, and exhaled slowly. Nothing hard about talking to a fellow rider. Except this rider had a thing for you, and did spontaneously kiss you at your second meeting. Hy’ka continued to pace up and down the hallway, passing many doors. Each time he passed H’vas’ door, he glanced at it, expecting the greenrider to step outside to leave, or inspect the footsteps in the hallway. He didn’t. Whether or not Hy’ka should be glad for this, he wasn’t sure. This last pass, Hy’ka stopped in front of the door. He turned toward it, and stared. Hy’ka made a low grunt of displeasure, and leaned forward, his forehead thumping against the door.
He stood there for a good couple of seconds, then raised his hand to knock on the wooden door. “H’vas? H’vas! It’s Hy’ka… You know, weyrling of blue Brynath… I know it’s been a few days, but still. I’m here now. Better late than never?” he babbled, his head still leaning against the door, in an attempt to clear his own mind. It didn’t work. Instead, Hy’ka continued to knock on the rider’s door. Yeah, it was an awkward position to greet someone on the other side of the door, but who cared? This whole situation was awkward already.

H'vas opened the door to have Hy'ka basically fall on to him. He caught the weyrling in his arms and smiled down at him.
"I was starting to worry. I've been afraid to go try and find you, because I didn't know if you wanted to see me. You wanna come in?"
Cherath chuckled mentally from her weyr. She prodded H'vas' mind.
"Who is it, Mine? Is it that Bluerider you've been dreaming about for days? I hope all is well."

The wooden door opened quietly, and Hy'ka felt himself falling forward. The blue weyrling started to put out his hands to catch himself on the floor, if only a pair of arms didn't save him from that fate. Hy'ka fell into the gentle, familiar touch that he had missed for the past three days. A warm and enveloping touch. If he could, Hy'ka would have melted on the spot. He nearly threatened to, as his knees almost gave out. Hy'ka turned to look up into the eyes of H'vas, meeting them for the first time in days.
"I was starting to worry. I've been afraid to go try and find you, because I didn't know if you wanted to see me. You wanna come in?"
Oh... He was worried... Hy'ka thought, still being held in H'vas' arms. He didn't have the strength, he thought, to stand up. Did he want to go in? Hy'ka risked a glance toward the inside of the rider's weyr. A seriously different atmosphere than Pern's traditional weyrs. Even that sign on his door was different. Hy'ka had to avert his eyes each time, so that he wouldn't convince himself to turn back. "I would imagine that sitting down would be more comfortable than holding onto me, wouldn't it? At least, for me, since I wouldn't be eternally falling over in an awkward position," Hy'ka commented, still in H'vas' arms.

H'vas smiled and helped Hy'ka to his feet. He walked over to the couch and plopped down. He waved over to Hy'ka.
"Come. Sit. The couch is most comfy."
He looked over at the brunette bluerider and blushed. He'd missed the weyrling quite a lot. He looked over Hy'ka and smiled softly.
"You know, the sign is up on the door just for laughs. It was a common joke directed to me at Telgar."

Hy'ka blinked as H'vas helped him to his feet. "Ah.. Thank you," he burbled under his breath, though the phrase seemed to escape the greenrider's hearing, based on how he immediately left Hy'ka, entering his weyr again, and sat himself down on the couch. Hy'ka was content with walking in, and started to do so until the rider waved him in. He paused, for a fraction of a second, then forced himself forward. H'vas regarded this couch as the most comfy. Well, it had to be, if H'vas said so, right? The blue weyrling made his way into the room, glancing nervously at the many posters on the walls.
Watch it... Brynath growled in his mind. He wasn’t going to take any chances with Hy’ka out of his reach. Though the blue could not see what was going on inside the rider’s weyr, he was well-tuned into Hy’ka’s thoughts. At even the slightest suspicion of something unplanned and sexually oriented, Brynath would be there in a flash, trying to force his way into the Cherath’s side of the weyr. You remember what I said before.
Hy’ka mentally jerked back from the blue’s speech. Calm down, my dear Brynath! I will be careful. Hy’ka took a look around the room again as he approached the rider. Behind him, the weyrling heard the door slowly shut. He had let his fingers trail off the door knob, just barely jolting the door into moving. "Oh, should I get that...?" Hy'ka asked, and turned on his heels to return to the door, pushing it all the way closed. Posters... Posters all around. Hy'ka had been trying to avoid the stare of the male models, but it was hard. He settled for staring at H'vas again. Oops... Bad choice. H'vas was saying something, and Hy'ka didn't pay attention.
"No, I'm not worried about that..." Hy'ka managed to spit out, as his mind pieced together that the greenrider was referring to the sign on the door. H'vas was blushing and smiling, Hy'ka finally took the time to notice. Hy'ka felt Brynath's prod of parenting again, and the weyrling pushed the dragon away. I've got it, he thought firmly. Brynath resigned with a mental sigh, and Hy'ka now confidently sat down on the comfy sofa, next to H'vas. "This is comfy," Hy'ka remarked.

H'vas smacked his face. He should have done something about the posters. He had found only slight comfort in the eyes of the men while missing the bluerider.
"You can tell i wasn't expecting company. I would have hid the posters..."
He trailed off and stared into the weyrling's eyes. He had to gulp to regain himself. Of course, Cherath's proddiness wasn't helping the situation. He wouldn't let it ruin his chances of making up with Hy'ka.
"I've missed you."
He spoke almost inaudibly, but Cherath picked up on the comment.
I am quite surprised, Mineheart. You hardly ever miss anyone."
"Shut up, Cherath."
"Shutting."

H'vas all of a sudden slapping his face made Hy'ka nearly jump out of his seat. What was that for?! the weyrling almost blurted out. He restrained himself enough to allow the greenrider to comment on why he recently put face to fist. Wasn't expecting company...? Hy'ka wondered. He thought he always had these posters out and about, awkwardly staring straight into Hy'ka's soul, it seemed. Or at least his eyes. Which is what H'vas was doing right now. Hy'ka looked away for a moment to inspect the rest of the rider's room, from the inside, only to turn back and see him blindly staring at Hy'ka.
"I've missed you."
Hy'ka stared back, but not as intense. He looked away quickly, before the greenrider could... Or would. "You know," the weyrling started, avoiding the topic for the time being, "I don't really mind the posters after a while. I mean, if you just ignore them... They don't bother me," Hy'ka lied, in the event that it would make up for the stares he gave the male model posters. Oh, but he couldn't avoid that face... Just he attention that H'vas gave him was enough. "I... I missed you too," Hy'ka murmured in a low whisper. "It was just so... Odd. I didn't expect you to do that at all."
Hy'ka was still looking away from H'vas. The blue weyrling propped his elbows up on his knees, and dropped his face into his hands. "I'm sorry I avoided you. You must've been expecting company the day after I left the feeding grounds. I'm sorry for waiting around for this long." Hy'ka mumbled the words into sentences, sentences that became all the more muffled as he spoke into his hands. "There's nothing wrong with this... Not at all. It's just... I only met you once before that day," Hy'ka said, referring to the scene at the feeding grounds. "It was so unexpected."

H'vas nodded once and ran a hand through his hair.
"I didn't really know what came over me either..I mean..I haven't really flirted with anyone since...well...Since I came here. I didn't mean to make things awkward.."
H'vas' eyes darted around the room, trying to find something to say before he started acting foolish. Why did this particular Blue Weyrling have to have such an effect on him?
"To be honest..I haven't really understood my feelings these past few days either...Cherath tells me I've been crying at night...Which is odd.."
Oops. There it was. He admitted that he was crying over the person sitting next to him on his couch. Now he'd really done it.
Cherath sent a wave of comfort to him.
"It is nothing to be ashamed of, H'vas. Crying is..natural..when one human loves another..right?"
He looked towards Cherath's weyr and chuckled mentally.
"I had no idea you were so aware of human emotion, Cherath."
"There is a lot that I know that you are not aware of."

Hy'ka shifted in his seat, leaning backwards against the back of the couch. His hands still covered his now blushing face. This was such an awkward topic, even in the privacy of H'vas' weyr. The blue weyrling peered through his fingers to stare at the greenrider. He wasn't even looking at Hy'ka anymore, instead preferring to have his eyes jump from object to object around his room. Hy'ka took this chance to lower his hands from his reddened face, cautiously looking at H'vas. Didn't mean to make things awkward... Yeah right. Hy'ka nearly rolled his eyes at the statement, but caught himself, since the rider was sitting right next to him.
As H'vas made a comment on his feelings, Hy'ka was about to jump down his throat. "You didn't understand your own feelings...?!" The weyrling sat up again, and turned to round on the rider. H'vas was still talking, and Hy'ka tried to speak over him, but to no avail. Was he impulsive too? Hy'ka wondered, adding to the irony. He felt Brynath stir, and Hy'ka sent the blue a small burst of emotions, urging the blue to not say anything. The greenrider finished his sentence, and Hy'ka opened his mouth to retaliate on H'vas, but what he said made Hy'ka snap his mouth shut. He cried in his sleep?
Don't gape... Brynath cautioned. And don't judge, the tolerant blue said.
"You were crying at night?" Hy'ka wondered, pushing away Brynath's voice in his head. He was putting two and two together, but he wanted confirmation straight from the herdbeast's mouth. "Well I can't say that I've been crying at night, but I definitely have been lacking something in the past few days." Hy'ka looked down at his hands, which were seated in his lap. He fidgeted, scooting slightly to the side, closer to H'vas.

H'vas nodded. He clutched his own hair and leaned forward. His back began to heave as choked sobs escaped from his mouth.
"I..w-w-was so s-scared that I had alienated you...I..I..."
Cherath poked her head out from her weyr, looking at Hy'ka and H'vas. Her eyes were red with anger as she heard the sobs from her bonded.
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM? WHAT DID YOU DO TO MAKE H'VAS CRY?"
H'vas looked up at Cherath and mentally forced her to calm down.
"H-He did nothing, Cherath. This is all me."
He turned to Hy'ka and gazed at him again.
"I..I...I don't know why I am crying...I just...I don't know!"

Though Hy'ka had shifted closer, he didn't expect that reaction out of H'vas. Actually, Hy'ka was about ready to comfort the rider, to put his arm around the older man's shoulder, as fellow dragonriders should, when H'vas broke down, grasping onto his head. Hy'ka had his arm tentatively held out at this time, and clutched it back. H'vas was shuddering with each deep breath taken. The greenrider began to sob practically uncontrollably. From his mouth, words escaped, jumbled together and complete with a stutter.
Hy'ka was able to decipher the sentence, though with a bit of a struggle, trying to make out the words between sobs. He was scared that he had alienated Hy'ka? "H'vas..." Hy'ka tenderly started, now working up the courage to move closer to the rider. He was about to put his arm around the man's shoulders when a giant green head interrupted. Hy'ka looked over at the green, and noticed the swirling red eyes a bit too late. A mental roar tore through Hy'ka's mind, making his head throb.
WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM? WHAT DID YOU DO TO MAKE H'VAS CRY?
Forget comforting H'vas at this time! Hy'ka pressed his hands to his ears, as if that would make the dragon stop blasting his mind to pieces. Stop! Stop! Hy'ka called out, though he couldn't communicate with Cherath. Brynath! Hy'ka exclaimed, Brynath please tell her to stop--! The blue didn't get the chance to say anything, though Hy'ka felt him try to please the green with gentle waves of emotion. "H'vas.. H'vas, it's fine," the weyrling murmured. "I don't care. You can cry.. I don't care." Hy'ka reached over to pat the rider's shoulder.

H'vas snuffled and leaned into Hy'ka. Cherath was sending thoughts of humble apology to the blue weyrling. She retreated into her weyr to lay down. H'vas looked to Hy'ka and sniffed again.
"Sorry about that..It doesn't help that she's proddy..."
H'vas wrapped his own arms around the Bluerider, searching for comfort in his arms. Cherath's sudden anger did not help his situation any. He was afraid to do more.
"I am so sorry Hy'ka. I...Sorry."

Giving the older rider a pat on the shoulder, Hy'ka looked away from H'vas, towards his protective green. Hy'ka's ears were still ringing for the mental screaming that Cherath projected into Hy'ka's brain. He was going to say something to the green but the sudden added weight of H'vas leaning on him forced Hy'ka to look back over at the rider. His sobs had calmed down now. H'vas sniffled, and pressed his body against the blue weyrling's Hy'ka felt his face flush red again. Cherath had returned to her room again, but left Hy'ka would thoughts of an apology. "It's fine... It's fine..." Hy'ka whispered to both rider and dragon.
H'vas wrapped his arms around Hy'ka, embracing the blue weyrling once again. Hy'ka didn't flinch or pull away. He sat there, glad for the comfort of the sofa, otherwise he would start to hurt after a while. The weyrling has the feeling that they would be here for a while. H'vas' choking sobs had dwindled down to a few sniffles, and the rider cried into Hy'ka's sleeve. Hy'ka patted the rider at first, but soon had H'vas grasped in a huge hug of his own. "It's fine, H'vas," he kept repeating. To comfort the rider, Hy'ka ran a few fingers through H'vas' hair. "H'vas, Cherath, it's fine. It was understandable," Hy'ka repeated. Hy'ka rested his cheek on the older man's head.

H'vas sniffed again and then looked up slightly at Hy'ka. He smiled softly and placed a gentle peck on his cheek.
"Thank you..for not freaking out when I started to cry..."
Cherath trilled softly from her weyr to Hy'ka.
"I am glad that H'vas has found you. You make him smile when I cannot."
H'vas chuckled and smiled slightly.
"I think that is the nicest thing Cherath has said to anyone since she Impressed me."

Still playing with H'vas' black hair, Hy'ka smiled in return to the quick kiss the rider had placed on his cheek. Hy'ka didn't say anything, but instead hugged the rider closer. The weyrling hummed softly. The tune was faintly familiar, perhaps some traditional song from Pern. Hy'ka kinda missed those nights, listening to the harpers during a party or a gather... "Why would I freak out?" Hy'ka asked H'vas in a low voice, though he knew he was on the verge of it. Of course, this odd rider that Hy'ka had grown so attached to... He could just be very emotional. Nothing wrong with that. Hy'ka had only known him for a couple of days at the most. "H'vas, it's perfectly normal to cry."
When Cherath's voice entered Hy'ka's mind again, commenting on their relationship, Hy'ka grinned, letting out a few breaths of laughter. "The nicest thing she's said to anyone? What, your own dragon doesn't compliment you?" the blue weyrling teased. "Well, I'm glad that I found H'vas too..." Hy'ka admitted, showing his true feelings for the rider, even if he already did that with his actions.
I trust everything is fine now? Brynath asked, though the wave of pleasing emotion from Hy'ka gave it all away. Cherath did not harm your head too badly?
No, I am fine now, Brynath dear. We both are fine. Hy'ka grasped H'vas tighter, not wanting to let go. Now, he could care less about the peculiar decorations placed around the room.
