"No, Kimath, we need to land now," Thaddeus murmured to his almost white-colored dragon.
The pale blue, reluctantly, spiraled down into the bowl. He did not see why they could not range further afield, why they were restricted to the mountains around Rocky. He did not understand...
Of course, Kimath did not understand a lot of things, even quite a few things other dragons grasped quite capably. It wasn't his fault, Tad thought. He had simply hatched this way.
"Good flight, though, bud."
Of course, Tad wished, too, that they could be open in their existence, but he also did not want dragons used as weapons of war.
