No man should be forced as he was to stay on this Faranth forsaken world against his wishes. No one, no one,should have to do this. There was nothing he wished to do here, and nothing he wished to have.
But he had been left here, even if it was accidentally, until the next Hatching here. Hopefully, it would be fairly soon. Whenever it was, it was the last he would ever be able to participate in. He was just too old now. It would be Fayeth's clutch next, correct?
Either way, it would happen and he would be free to continue his studies on Pern.
Until then, he might as well work as he would if he home. He would learn as much as he could from the doctors of Earth just as he did from the documents from the AIVAS of Pern. But, seeing as he had been seething in the library or the room he had been given for the last however long it had been, he must start immediately. So, he must now go speak with the 'doctors.'
