[ooc: Tag Faizah and Wolfy]
Nearly ten weeks into her term, egg-heavy Crucith was getting restless, not to mention more snappy than usual. She even snapped at Z'volm for getting too close. The green was perfectly happy to sit in her weyr, or perhaps have a lazy glide around the weyr bowl. Instead, the weyrwoman requested for Crucith to take a trip to the doctor, to check on the progress of her unborn children. Despite hers and Z'volm's protesting, the authority of the weyrwoman won out, and with an annoyed frown, Z'volm agreed to have Crucith visit the infirmary. Though neither of them cared, Faizah had also said take it easy.
From their weyr, Z'volm walked down to the infirmary. Crucith opted for a gentle glide to the weyr bowl, where she would then walk--waddle?--to where the infirmary rested. I do not see why I must go and talk to the doctor. I feel fine, and I am sure my children are fine, Crucith snorted, tenderly landing with a short hop, and intercepting her rider at the entrance. Faizah might not be a goldrider, but she acts like one. The green growled, and followed Z'volm into the infirmary, where the doctor, already knowing of their coming, was waiting.
"Crucith, my dear, let's just get this over with. I don't want to be here anymore than you do, and I'm not the one the doctor is looking at," Z'volm bit back. "Faizah's the weyrwoman, whether we like it or not." He rolled his eyes at the mention of her name. Goldriders were stuck-up and thought they were the best. Faizah, with her tiny white, was up there with them. "Hey," Z'volm said, raising an arm to the doctor. "We're here, now let's get this over with. I have better things to do."

Seeth had been resting in sun, ignoring the coolness of the air as he heard Crucith peeved progress. Raising his head, he surveyed her as she glided across the Weyrbowl. She was eggheavy, he noted, pleased. He growled shortly and turned to look at his weyr, where Sennia was sitting, playing a gitar. Mine love, Crucith is having a visit to the doctors.
Sennis stopped and strode to the dragon's openning in the weyr. You want to go as well. It wasn't a question, but Seeth growled an affirmative rather quickly. Sighing, she agreed. Okay, but if we're not wanted, we're leaving. She went back inside for just a moment, coming out again with a jacket slung over her shoulders. She climbed onto her dragon and he left with a powerful sweep of his threadscored wings.
He quickly arrived at the infirmary, wings backpedalling to stop him from crashing into the green that he had proudly Chased and won. She was just as angry and foul-tempered as always, but he didn't really care. She had been his for that little bit of time, his and no one else's. Sennia, on the other hand, wanted nothing more to do with the green and her rider. If she could have helped it, she would have stayed away from Z'volm during the flight, but flightlust was not something one ould argue with. The two different perspectives were unchangable, unalterable. Seeth's would have to come first; it always would, and he knew it, blast the dragon.
Sennia waved at the doctor cheerfully, fully ignoring Z'volm. Seeth growled once, eying the trio.

Faizah was already there, sitting on a stool behind where the doctor now stood. They had been chatting before Z'volm and Crucith had entered. Faizah was actually surprised they had come. She had been half expecting them to skip the appointment. Now all they were waiting for was Kain.
I don't believe he is coming, Mine. He seems to be down at the feeding grounds with Gorth. Surth told Faizah.
The gold-sized white was perched on a ledge, thoroughly enjoying some time to sun. At the same time he was avoiding Crucith. Surth despised dealing with her foul temperment, made even worse lately due to being egg-heavy.
Well, tell Gorth to send Kain along. I'm not starting this until I have him and Gorth here. I'll need the back-up. Faizah told her white.
She felt Surth give a silent affirmative. Then she sighed as she stood and joined the others around Crucith. "Kain and Gorth should be here momentarily. We'll wait for them."

Sitting back on rest on her haunches, Crucith slightly bared her fangs in an evil smile. Faizah was sitting behind the doctor, on a stool. The green growled lowly. Weyrwoman or not, Crucith wasn't going to hold back if Faizah ticked her off more than she should have. Seeth and His arrived, with a thump that caused Crucith's head to swivel around to notice the dragonrider pair. Seeth, Crucith rumbled gently. He came unannounced, but she wasn't going to turn away the sire of her children--after all, they were half his. If he were to get on her bad side, which was an easy line to cross now, then she'd send him and His packing back to their weyr.
He noticed the weyrwoman a bit belatedly behind the doctor. "Speak of the devil, right, Crucith?" he muttered, not caring if Faizah heard him. "Good day, Weyrwoman," Z'volm said curtly, looking past the weyr's doctor with cold eyes. Crucith's greeting to the brown made Z'volm turn on his heels; where Seeth was, his rider was sure to be. Not that Z'volm cared much for the woman, preferring the riders of Crucith's suitors to be male, but she provided for an interesting night none-the-less, and for that, Z'volm wasn't going to protest. Her rather rude ignoring of the greenrider made him roll his eyes. "Females," he huffed, crossing his arms.
The weyrwoman stood up and approached Crucith. "Kain and Gorth should be here momentarily. We'll wait for them," she said.
I love waiting, Crucith commented to Z'volm in a purely sarcastic manner. Gorth and His better not take to long. Or I'll get fed up with waiting... she purred, shuffling to get into a more comfortable position, which was a bit hard, given her current state. The green adjusted her wings, flaring them out a tad, only to fold them against her back again.

Seeth blinked his whirling eyes at the Weyrwoman, remembering that he should pay all due respect to her, even though she didn't ride a gold, but rather a white runt. Almost as bad as them though. It was only through careful engineering that Sennia had manged to keep them apart; otherwise Seeth would have much to say, and less than a nice percentage of it would be what should be heard while talking to the revered white dragons and their riders.
When Crucith uttered her greeting to him, Seeth rather piontedly looked at her, head raising just a little higher. For a moment he was silent before he lowered his head and nodded in what could almost be called a bow. Crucith, he mumured in response, his rough mental voice making it sound as if it was little more than a growl. After a moment - and after a prod from his rider, he greeted Faizah and Z'volm in much the same manner, but not nearly as peacably.
Certain that none of these meant any harm to His, he ben his head down toward Sennia, who stroked his headknobs. See, Mine? They never said they wanted us to leave. They say nothing of the sort. In fact, Crucith had even gone so far as to greet them, a fact that was not lost on her. Rather cooly, she replyed Yes, dear. I know. She almost wished they had told her and Seeth to leave.
Z'volm had watched her when she arrived, but it was more dark and seething than at first due to her refusal to pay him any of the attention she assumed he felt was his by right. She was quite content to continue doing so, but Seeth dominated and for once told her to act civilized. If I must, than so should you, he said piontedly. It would do you well to follow your own advice.
Ugh, you sound like my father! she responded quickly, rolling her eyes. But she knew he was right. Ignoring the greenrider would only anger Crucith which could and would not be tolerated at the moment. With a mental flick of irritation at Seeth, she turned and faced Z'volm, where he stood moodily in front of the doctor.

Faizah sighed as she shook her head minutly. Apparently she was among haters of white riders. But she put her irritation aside when she saw Kain and Gorth enter. She smiled at her friends and at the knowledge that she now had color rank to back her up.
Kain smirked slightly when he stepped into the infirmiry and noticed Faizahs releved smile. He had heard of this specific greens dangerous temperment, apparently made worse during her pregnacy. he scowled at the man standing beside the green. Kain knew Z'volm and didnt like him in the least. Just a feeling.
Kain nodded to the doctor and Faizah. "Should we get this done and over with? Kain asked.
(I can see Crucith causing some damage. What do you think Phazzy?)

[ooc: Request fulfilled. And gladly.]
Seeth's is looking at you, Crucith prodded Z'volm with a snort. She tilted her head to look at Sennia out of the corner of her eyes, and righted herself to glare back at the doctor and Faizah. The clack of dragon claws alerted the green to Gorth's arrival, and at a speed that she was pleased with. That wasn't that long. I'm satisfied. Now the rest of this shouldn't take longer than I care for. They knew better than to keep Crucith waiting, didn't they? She twisted around in her spot, spying the bronze and His approaching.
The greenrider grunted at Crucith's mention of Sennia. So what? She didn't care for him, right? He didn't either--though a little recognition would have been nice. Z'volm exhaled through his nose, a snort that earned him a growl from Crucith. What? he protested. I don't care for her. What happened between us was a result of your Flight. He did oblige though, turning slightly to give the brownrider a quick upwards jerk of the head in recognition. Happy? he asked.
No.
Not wanting to push the green, Z'volm didn't respond. He noticed Gorth and Kain though, and blatently snorted at the Weyrleader, turning his head away as he did so. "Yes, let's just get this over with," he spat, gesturing towards the doctor and the leaders of the weyr. "Come on, Crucith dear--The faster you move, the faster we can get out of here." The greenrider pat the green's leg, urging her forward.
Crucith grumbled as the doctor waved her on, motioning towards a large, dragon-sized bed. She waddled past Z'volm and Sennia, her tail temptingly flicking upwards towards Seeth's snout as well. Yes, Z'volm... she simmered. However, the look that Kain gave Hers didn't go unnoticed by Crucith. And this was the opportune moment for her to do something about it. The green walked past Faizah and Kain, but not without reaching down to snap at the Weyrleader, and growl warningly in his face.

When Crucith gazed toward Sennia, she was almost startled. She seemed almost peacable at the moment. Almost; not quite, but almost. Sennia lifted her eyes to the jade green figure as she glanced at her. Of course, the sign of recognition did not last long, as she almost immediately turned to face the Weyrwoman and doctor. Sennia smiles just a little, her lips doing little more than lifting a hint at the corners.
Seeth tunred sharply as he heard a sharp clack against the floor that could only mean that Kain and Gorth had arrived. He watched the Impressed pair silently before finally greeting them as he had the Weyrwoman and Greenrider. His eyes went slightly steely, and he shuffled his wings as he stepped closer to his rider. Ten he shook his head as Sennia punched his nose. You stop that! They aren't trying to kill me, for Faranth's sake! He grumbled and looked away, but stopped and stepped back a little.
Sennia glanced at Z'volm in time to see him jerk his head moodily as he did the closest thing he was obviously planning to do as a hello. Her face hardenning she was about to retort something very rude but Z'volm had turned away once more to greet his weyrleader with a snort; the two didn't seem to get along well. That was perfectly righteous.
Seeth backed farther away, as did His, when Crucith started forward in an attempt to give her more room and as a peacable motion. What happenned when she passed Kain was not predicted, at least not by them. maybe by her Rider? Maybe.
Seeth growled and reared up slightly in case Gorth or His were to be angered at Crucith snappings. He would not have either of them hurting her while she carried their children. Maybe even after that. No bronze would stop him if he wanted to defend or fight someone. He didn't care if he was the weyrleader's bronze or not. Sennia cried out slightly and grasped his harness in an attempt to suppress him, but he was true to his Benden blood at being bigger than many browns.

At the motion from the doctor to move forward, Kain had gone to follow after Faizah. Gorth was behind him, giving Crucith more than enough room to maneuver. It was easy to say Kain wasn't paying attention, and was slow to react when he did notice Crucith's fangs coming at him.
Gorth reacted quite a bit faster. He used one foreleg to push His out of the way while at the same time he extended one folded wing to intercept Crucith's powerful jaws. When the green bit down, Gorth's wing was in her mouth, and there was an audible snapping of bone. Gorth growled in pain at the same time Crucith growled at Kain, who was now sprawled on the ground a good three feet from where he had been moments before.
"Kain!" Faizah yelled as she hurried to her friend's side. He was dazed, but ultimately unhurt. Faizah looked up at Gorth, who was glaring Crucith down. "Gorth?" Faizah's voice had a tone of urgency but hesitance at the same time.
Gorth nodded without taking his eyes from Crucith. Go and have your check-up Crucith. That is an order. Afterwards return to your weyr and stay there until tomorrow.
(How's that? Or is it too much?)

[ooc: I can work with that. x3 Does someone want to control the doctor, by the way?]
The proceedings happened in an instant. One moment, Crucith was lunging towards Kain, in an attempt to teach him a lesson about taunting Hers when she was around, and the next, Gorth's wing was in her mouth. The green bit down, and hard. The crunch of bones and the feeling of her teeth sinking into the bronze's flesh made Crucith ecstatic. Her eyes quickly swirled an interesting combination of red and green, and she tugged at the wing in her mouth. He wasn't getting it back anytime soon. Kain lay on the floor mere feet away. Cructih could step on him; she looked up at Gorth, who was staring her down.
Go and have your check-up Crucith. That is an order. Afterwards return to your weyr and stay there until tomorrow.
Did the bronze just tell her to stay in her weyr? Did he... just ground her? Like a child? She growled warningly, and let go of the larger dragon's wing. Tell Yours to watch what he does when around Mine, the moody green protested, licking her lips and bared teeth gently, tasting the bronze's ichor on her tongue. I won't hold back next time. Mood soured by the eggs in her womb, Crucith gave Gorth a snort, and waddled away, to where the doctor waited. Z'volm, she called, gesturing with her head for the rider to follow.
Pleased at Crucith's actions, and ignoring the fact that she punished and confined to her weyr for a day, Z'volm had no protest at going to the green's side. He even allowed himself a smirk as he stepped around Kain and Faizah. Proudly walking to his green's side, the rider rubbed her leg lovingly. That's my good Crucith... he complimented the egg-heavy dragon, encouraging her awful behavior.

Seeth watched with bright eyes as he saw the unfolding drama before him. Crucith, who had lunged and snapped at the Weyrleader, instead ended up with Gorth's wing snapping as the delicate wings bones broke in her jaws. Seeth's lips pulled back in what was somewhere between a snarl and a draconic grin. He would have loved to do something like that, but he knew His would never allow him to do it and he did not have a liable reason as Crucith did. Kain had never had the chance to upset his rider.
Sennia paled slightly as she heard the crack of Gorth's wing. Telling her brown to stay where he was, she hurried over to the bronze once Crucith had backed away. the dragon's hot ichor was spalshing against the floor where its drops were ultimately making quite a mess. She reached out, than decided against it in order to go and procure some numbweed. She flashed Seeth a glare as she felt his amused, praising emotions directed at Crucith. Seeth, if you don't be quiet then by Faranth's Shell, I'll come beat some sense into you! He responded by looking at his forlegs almost sheepishly and shuffling his wings slightly. Stupid brown....stupid green! she thought, somewhat disgusted. Gorth's a bronze, and Kain's the Weyrleader!
But not ours. We're here temporairily, correct? My Weyr is Fort Weyr, none other. She snorted, rolling her eyes as she walked back, her arms laden. We're here because you'd become o dangerous because of what happenned. Remember? You nearly did what Crucith just did more than once! We're here until you're better!
That caused him to quiet himself immediately. Remembering was hard enough for all dragons, whose memories were fleeting. But it was downright painful at times for Seeth. Yes, Sennia. He turned toward Crucith watching her and her sadistic rider.
Sennia gazed at the Weyrwoman and Weyrleader, apology in her amethyst eyes. "I'm sorry for Seeth's behavior...." she murmured. Well, she couldn't really apologize for Crucith's actions, so she might as well for Seeth's. She felt that they needed to be brought to the surface, for some reason.

Kain nodded at Sennia in acknowledgement and acceptance of her apology. He didnt really care what Seeth had said or thought. But Crucith and that rider or hers... They had just made their way onto Kains list. And it was not a very nice list.
Kain got up from the floor and tentatively approached Gorth. The bronze was not known for dealing with pain in a cheery mood. when he was at Gorths side, Kain waved a doctor over.
"Kain?" Faizah asked.
He shook his head and Faizah joined the doctor for Cruciths checkup. Kain assured her that they would be in once Gorth was taken care of.
As Faizah turned to enter the exam room, Surth entered the infirmiry. Upon Faizahs inquiry the white informed her that she was not going to be alone with the green. Faizah just sighed and nodded to the doctor to continue with the exam.

Leaving the others behind, Crucith grudgingly trekked after the doctor. She was pleased with herself, a low rumble of content emanating from her throat. The attack she made on the bronze clearly put her in better spirits. She entered the exam room, and gently eased herself into the bed that the doctor indicated with a finger. Mrrw, Crucith crooned, folding her wings against her body, and tilting to the side. Tell him to hurry up, she urged Z'volm, though the suggestion was more of a command. The green stretched out her neck, and laid her head against the floor.
"Crucith wants to know how long this will take," Z'volm pestered the doctor, stepping over to his side as he pulled on gloves and gathering the materials he needed for the ultrasound. Though he had been at Rocky for a number of months now, this stuff was all new to the greenrider. He couldn't help but peer over the doctor's shoulder as he tried to figure out what everything was. Ultrasound was a new thing to him as well. Seeing inside the body? Shipfish could do that, couldn't they? Was the doctor a shipfish?
The doctor looked up and over his shoulder. "If you could, it'd be nice if you stepped back? The more she cooperates, the faster I'll be done. And she better not take a bite out of me," Krenshaw muttered, recalling what the green did Gorth. "Alright, now just stay there," the doctor said, putting out a hand as if stopping Crucith from moving. He stepped away from the various shelves and cupboards, a remote in his hand. He pressed a button, and a large screen swung out from against the wall.
Dr. Krenshaw pointed to the television screen. "Since dragons are so much larger than humans, I had a larger monitor added for this sake. This transducer was also modified for the larger dragons." He held up the wand for the Weyrwoman and the greenrider to see. "Looks the same, but sends the ultrasound waves over a larger area."
The edge of Z'volm's lip twitched and he furrowed his brows in confusion. Technology. Pfft. "What..? H--Forget it. Just go on. As long as it doesn't harm Crucith, go ahead," Z'volm pursed his lips and shrugged. He stepped over to the green's side, deliberately ignoring Faizah. He scratched Crucith's eye ridge, and the green closed her eyes in satisfaction.
[ooc: Gave the doctor a name, so we can actually use it. xD Doctor Erik Krenshaw. He's also in the Other Characters List now.]

Sennia nodded miserably, and after a moment's hesitation, left to see what was happening in the alcove where Crucith and Z'volm had disappeared to. She istenned silently as the healer - doctor - explained how he had needed a bigger monitor and all that.
For once, Sennia completely agreed. Technology was not something she was thrilled with. She prefered the older way. Wasn't that a blow o the Pride of all Harpers.
Seeth followed quickly, edging closer until his head was inside, watching the goingons carefully. He didn't pay much attention to the doctor past the reason why the machinery was here and what it did. They were going to try to look at his children before they were even clutched. Alright. And that was that.
He couldn't fit inside completely, so he stuck his neck in as far as he could, and that was it. Arching it carefully so as to not disrupt the assembled equipment, he gazed at the trio of humans and the egg heavy green, once more ignoring the pained bronze, white runt, and their respective riders.

It took very little time for the doctor to set and splint Gorths wing. The bronze was given a shot for pain before he was allowed to leave. They reached the exam room that was the center of attention and waited. Seeth was in the way, barely leaving enough room for Kain to get through.
Faizah listened silently, understanding everything the doctor had just said. She watched, seeng a few skeletons that bespoke hatchlings developing. "How do they look, doc?" She asked. She counted si from her vantage point, but se couldnt tell if they wer developing properly.
