A recent snowstorm made the weyrbowl a treacherous place to walk through. Deep snow coated the ground, and the nearly even levels made it hard to determine where was safe to step, and were it was not. The only landmarks of the bowl were lumps and mounds of snow. Naturally, Ku'rt found it to be the perfect time to make a trek through the weyrbowl. And why not, since weyr residents would have to travel through it anyway, he might as well try to clear a few paths. Too bad he had something else in mind as well. A snowball fight. The young weyrling, soon to be rider for that matter, had persuaded the blue dragon to help him out as well.
"Come on, Aricoth," Ku'rt called, waving the blue forward, though he knew the dragon wouldn't be able to see his motions. Luna would though. The green fire lizard was sitting on Aricoth's head, her usual perch, since the blue now used the flitter to help him get around. "Come on!" he grinned, turning around in place to look at the blue dragon picking his way through the snow. Ku'rt wasn't as concerned. The snow came up to his waist in some places, his chest in others, but the weyrling continued to charge through, acting like a snow plow. He was making his way further into the weyrbowl, towards the center.
I am coming Ku'rt. The snow makes it hard to move... he whined, pawing at the snow. He was slowly following behind the weyrling. Do we have to go over there? Aricoth asked, having received an image from Luna. We can't just stay here? Much safer, you know. Why not? Ku'rt? Aricoth's head stayed low, just barely grazing over the snow with his chin. He sniffed at the snow, nosing the white powder around.
"Well... I guess we could. We're not near an entrance anymore, so let's just stay here, Aricoth." Ku'rt turned around to look at the blue dragon, gaining a new idea from his actions. "Oh! Aricoth! You can help me! Come on!" The weyrling bounded back over the snow, through the path he had plowed through. "Here, come here. Make a pile here. Luna, help him." Ku'rt directed the blue dragon to a spot that was relatively clear. He started moving small piles of snow around, pushing them together into a larger one.
Aricoth was lost for a bit, on account of being blind, but a series of pictures from the green flitter helped him place the scene. He followed Ku'rt example, using his forearms and tail to create a large mound of snow. The cold powder was occasionally sent into the air with a few forceful shoves, covering both dragon and rider in snow. This good, Ku'rt? Aricoth asked the weyrling.
Nodding, Ku'rt dropped to his knees at the foot of the pile. "Yes, Aricoth, that's perfect. Now hunker down... I've got an idea, and we can't be seen." When the dragon was now huddled down in his little space, a dusty-blue spot in the pure-white snow, Ku'rt refined the pile, piling it a tad higher and smoothing out the edges, packing the snow in. "And now, it begin," Ku'rt muttered with a wide smile on his face. He too huddled down behind the pile, and packed some snow into a ball. "Ready?" Ku'rt's eyes peered over the top of the snow mound, and as soon as the weyrling saw a form come into view, he hurled the snowball over the mound at the figure, and ducked down in wait.

Nomics was just strolling out of the mountain and into the Weyr Bowl, on a mission in search of some 'treasure' he had buried there a week before. Because of this, he didn't notice the tracks leading out towards the center of the Bowl or the barest hint of a mound amidst the otherwise flat expanse of white. Alas, this was to be to his detriment. For because of this he did not see the impending missile until it was too late. "AAARG! What blasphemy is this!!!" the now snow covered Rider shouted in vexation. But soon enough his silly side caught hold and he realized the hilarity of the situation. Discreetly making a weapon of his own, Nomics requested areal support. Yurith. I need a fly by of the Bowl ASAP! I repeat. I need a fly by on the double!
Nomics, are you saying that you want me to tell you where the person who hit you with the snow ball is?
Yes... Wait! How did yo-
I'm sitting on a ledge that has a lovely view of the Weyrbowl. And I think i would rather watch. This amuses me. But since i don't want to see you suffer, i will tell you that if you throw a snowball as hard as you can, you will have thrown too far.
Well thanks, Sherlock! Alas, i suppose i must continue in this escapade on my own.
Alas.
Finally noticing the not-so-hidden trail of plowed snow, Nomics had an idea. Running into the path he shouted "FOR GLORY!" He would fight back with all of his strength and tact. Throwing his first snowball towards the mound, he then scooped up more snow that he molded as he ran along the path, searching for the perpetrator that came up with such a fun game. Even as he went seeking the other person's doom he couldn't help but think that if he could, he would like to join forces with them so that they could both prey upon the other hapless members of the Weyr.

Logan did not particularly like the cold and the snow, but Odiketh felt right at home. Surrounded by white, he could easily sneak up on His; which he did multiple times a day, lately. The whiteweyrling was getting far too used to it however, and had spotted him before he had the chance to pounce on the last few occasions. So instead of stalking his bonded, Odi had decided on a nice, relaxing flight that afternoon. He was probably nearly invisible against the whitish grey clouds, and the landmarks below were barely distinguished to him as well, all covered in snow. It was like his own little white paradise.
In the midst of a turn around the weyrbowl, the little dragon spotted something blue amongst the white. A dragon, hidden partially behind a large mound of snow! As he focused on the scene, he could also discern his rider behind the barricade, as well as another human running towards them, a bundle of snow in his hand. Odiketh had once had a very lovely snowball fight with Logan, but it ended quickly when he had completely buried His under a mound of snow with his tail, and frantically had to dig him out. This fight, however, seemed far less one-sided.
Mine! Come down, there is a fight outside! Play with us! The white happily announced, alighting down on their weyrledge.
Logan had been up in their weyr, actually trying to find something to do. He had already eaten, and his room was spotless from multiple cleaning sprees throughout the day. There was nothing left! So when he received his dragons strangely joyful message about a fight, the weyrling quickly perked up.
A fight? What kind of fight? He asked curiously as he made his way over to the ledge himself. Peering carefully down the face of the cliff, he could clearly see at least two people and a dragon having a snowball fight. "Oh!" He exclaimed aloud. "Excellent.." He said, dashing to his dresser to put on all the necessary layers. "You'll help, won't you?"
Of course! This will be fun! And I will not bury you this time. He added playfully. Logan chuckled as he finally pulled on his winter coat and hustled back to the ledge. "Here look, you can push snow off of here with your tail, and get them before I'm even down there! And then come down when you've had enough of that. Hm?" With an affirmative from the beast, Logan shot out of the weyr and headed down the stairway faster than he would advise.
Meanwhile, Odiketh positioned himself in the best spot to push the mound of snow off of his ledge and onto the unsuspecting fighters below. With a mighty heave, half the snow on the ledge went flying through the air, hopefully to cover the heads of the encamped pair behind the mound.
Moments later, Logan had made it to the nearest entrance of the Weyr, and stopped. They were already involved with fighting each other - as well as the incoming air bomb from Odi - so he had the element of surprise! Balling a bunch of snow from the ground into a tight clump, Logan peeked around the corner. He had an admittedly terrible arm, so from this point he'd have to bum rush the mound and hope for the best. Collecting a few more snowballs, Logan steeled himself for the impending battle and ran out of hiding with a very uncharacteristic war cry, of sorts. He sounded more like a teenage girl, than a bloodthirsty warrior, but Odiketh lent his voice as well, bugling a firm charge as he swiped the last of the snow off of his ledge.
It was ON!

Snowfire had been dozing on a white rock (it was s white as he was!) when he was awoken abruptly, feeling very cold and shiverish. Lots of the cold, white stuff was all over him, and it was fresh. He blinked as he curiously surveyed the area, watched, intrigued, as things like HisLyrah and BigDragons threw more of the white stuff at each other. It had been one of those wierd balls that woke him up from his nap. He chirped and flew up to a BigDragon that looked kind of like HisBigBrown Kyrinth and chirped again, questioningly at him. He thought it was safe, since he was sitting to the side, just watching.
The swelter of emotions that played across Snowfire's mind eventually seeped it's way into Lyrah's, and from there to Kyrinth's. They had been sitting in their weyr, Lyrah oiling and washing the big, bulky brown. After a moment of sorting out the images, she grinned, laughing. Love, it looks as if there's a snowball fight going on, outside, in the Weyrbowl. Want to take a part in it?
Kyrinth snorted swinging his head around to look at Lyrah. I suppose so. It will give you something to do other than fuss over me.
All right then, let me get dressed in something a little more appropriate.
She disappeared into her private quarters, returning mimutes later with tough, cargo pants and a thick, warm wherhide coat on. "Go exactly where I show," she whispered as she strode up to her Impressed dragon, and then vaulted up to the place where she would sit on their journey to the Weyrbowl.
They were there very fast.
As soon as they were, the brawny brown growled savagely and began to more his forelimbs to create big balls of snow. He wrapped his wings around Lyrah at her prompting, allowing her to make her ow snowballs in relative peace.
Very soon they had a good sized pile of snowballs.

"AAARG! What blasphemy is this!!!"
The exclamation of the other person made Ku'rt grin. He peeked up over the top of the mound to see Rider Nomics. Ku'rt remembered him from the hallway a couple sevendays ago. He was the one who fell out of the closet: that much Ku'rt remembered. Perfect. Ku'rt ducked down again, and furiously busied himself with making another snowball. The blueweyrling chuckled lowly, trying to make sure he was not heard. Nomics was a fun guy; Ku'rt was glad that it was him and not some stuck-up that he managed to hit. Ready to take another shot, Ku'rt stood up again, only to receive a snowball to the face. "Ack! Wait!" he muttered from behind the snow.
Ku'rt? Aricoth asked, worried at the surprised tone in the weyrling's voice. Ku'rt? Are you alright? What happened? the blue intruded, but didn't move from his crouched spot behind the mound of snow. He shuffled though, trying to find Ku'rt. Luna chirped, and took to the sky, searching for the man who through the snowball at Ku'rt.
"Luna! Get down! You're going to give away our position!" Ku'rt called, having wiped the frozen water off of his face. "Luna!" Ku'rt stood up, and waved his arm, trying to get the green fire lizard down. A shadow above him made Ku'rt pause, and his arm drop back to his side. A huge lump of snow was falling down on top of the blue weyrling pair. "Oh, shards! Aricoth, move!" the weyrling yelled, trying to climb over the snow mound he made, in order to get away from the massive snow drift falling onto them from above. Ku'rt scrambled, his foot slipping more than once, only to be buried under the snow. Thankfully, Ku'rt's head and upper torso was outside the snow. He was only pinned from his chest down. "Augh! Who--?" Ku'rt spat, trying to wiggle free. "Aricoth!"
Ku'rt, it's cold and dark... the blue said, still clearly alive. I... It's cold. Can I come out now? Where are you, and where's Luna? Ku'rt? Aricoth squirmed, not waiting for a response from the blue weyrling. He attempted to stand up, shoving aside large amounts of snow. As the blue stood up, snow fell off his back and wings. Ku'rt! Where are you? I will find you... And Luna too. The dragon shook himself, snow flying in all directions. He blindly began digging around in the snow.
Ku'rt managed to wiggle himself free, and crawled out from under the snow. "Aricoth! Aricoth, I'm fine!" he yelled breathlessly, doubling over with laughter. The arrival of another two weyrlings made Ku'rt dive back against the snow pile. "No! They will not beat us!" he shouted, grabbing more snow and forming snowballs. "Come on, Aricoth! We need another fort, go!" Ku'rt rolled over, across the mound, away from the other participants. Aricoth, upon hearing that his rider was safe, mimicked what he did moments earlier, and formed another snow mound for Ku'rt to hide behind.

In all honesty, the only thing Loren was trying to do was get across the bowl... Of course she had noticed there was a blue dragon not that far away, but so far?
So far, the dragons had struck her as laid back creatures, more like cats in their level of relaxation. Big cats, not small ones.
So when the dragon sent a flurry of snow flying towards her, she was not ready for it. Neither was the vine-wrapped green on her shoulder. "Eep...why...you..."
She could not get revenge on the dragon, which didn't seem to care how much snow it got on itself. Which meant...she...had...to find the rider. She scooped up a double handful of the white stuff and looked around for said individual.
Not that she was actually angry. No. You just didn't throw snow on an army brat and expect to stay warm and dry!

Tahli was simply trying to find Freya, for the little green had disappeared when shouts of laughter was heard, and Tahli was worried about her in the cold of the season. She had snuck her head out and into the 'bowl for a only a moment and had received an impression of great fun. But not form her own eyes. It was Freya.
If Tahli strained her eyes she could barely see the little green farther over than the blue dragon. The little thing had made a snowball and was going to bomb it on the blue's rider. Tahli smiled. Seemed like her little Freya had a fun-loving side.
Freya hovered over the blue and His. She was devilish as she let the ball of coldwhitestuff fall and she watched. But before it landed she zipped off to Hers that was in the 'bowl now. And the brownDarwin was with her. Freya trilled to them, calling for them to join the fun she had found.
((I finally made it! ^-^ Maybe in a few more posts I'll introduce Kumiko.))

Lyrah and Kyrinth
Lyrah whooped as she emerged from underneath Kyrinth's wings. Kyrinth stood upon his hind paws, and roared, two large snowballs clutched in his forelimbs. Love, why don't we coat them in a nice, fine layer of fine, cold white powder? Lyrah was having fun. That much was very obvious.
You know very well how much I hate it when you talk that way, Kyrinth growled. However, his thoughts were colored with amusement; he was finding this just as fun as she was. I will stay here to make you more balls of snow, Lyrah. You go out and coat them, will you? This caused her to laugh, for it was said in such a comic manner that it bordered on sarcasic and ironic both.
"Snowfire, fly around and see where all of the others are, alright?" The tiny white flit chirped his affimative, and flew away, toward the areas that the snowballs that flew through the air seemed to hit most of all. He was soon lost from sight, as his hide melted into the white background rather well.
In the meantime....
Snowballs began to fly from her little huddled fort of snow and dragon hide.

Running around to get a better shot at the warriors behind the fort, Logan threw his ammunition wildly at the encampment, only to find his shots blocked by the mound of snow his own dragon had pushed over the ledge. Perfect. It wasn’t that he could have hit any of them anyway, however, for he was quite a poor shot. It was the principle of the thing!
Quickly realizing that he was now out of snowballs and standing mere meters away from the fort dwellers as they found their way out of their pile of snow, Logan scrambled out of range and over to the wherhandler apartments. With much effort, and using nearly his entire body as a shovel, the whiteweyrling cleared the ground beneath him to make his own miniature fort to recover behind.
Peering out from behind his poorly structured barricade, Logan whined. Aricoth - as he could now see the pair clearly - had already made Ku’rt another fort! And a sturdy one at that, he was sure. Come on down now, I need you! Logan sent with a hasty tone to his white.
Odiketh had been watching, utterly amused from his high perch, Logan’s feeble attempts at hitting Ku’rt and Aricoth. He had forgotten about his snow flinging duties, as the first one had been quite successful enough, he thought.
I can see that. They are much better at this than you are, Minelove. He replied with a rumble, launching himself into the sky above the battlefield. He most likely blended right into the clouds above, save for his bright, blue eyes. Soaring over the weyrbowl, the white scanned the arena, saving the image before landing carefully. Hunkering down behind Logan’s pitiful excuse for a fort, Odiketh whined just as His had, at its insufficiency.
Mine, this fort is to small. We will be hit. He complained, glaring down at his counterpart, who was crumpled up behind the wall in such a way that would make it impossible to throw anything with even a slim chance of success.
Well then help! That’s what I needed you for anyway. Logan said, unfurling and scooping up more snow to pile upon their barricade. Of course Odiketh was much more efficient at this, using his tail to haul big mounds of the stuff up and onto the wall. After a few moments they had a respectable hole in the snow, and Logan began making ammunition again.

Riley had'nt intended to get caught up in what appeared to be a snowball war of epic proportions. Really, he hadn't. But seeing the candidate girl fall under the wave of snow the blue had cast aside, he couldn't help but burst out laughing.
He quickly yipped and covered his mouth with his ands, then tugged the collar of his coat up to try and svae face, make it appear as if he had just been coughing. Or something. He tried to ignore the siren song of the snow, really, he did, but...it just wasn't happening. Really, he rather felt it was probably not the best course of action considering he had been intending to browse the library and read up on Earth history and such, but... the temptation was overwhelming.
He tried his best to hide a devious grin, and discreetly packed a snowball into one hand. Good thing there hadn't been any shortage of snow at Lemos. And also good that even the Lord Holder's heirs couldn't escape the hold-wide snowball fights that had spontaneously erupted from time to time.
He lobbed the snowball at the earth girl's back while she looked for the blue's bonded.

Weyrling Ku'rt and Blue Aricoth
As mass chaos ensued, Ku'rt stayed fairly hidden and safe behind his mound of snow. "Aricoth, we need to make a fort. An awesome fort," the weyrling commanded, starting to build up the wall to his sides. Of course, Ku'rt was no expert at snow fort building, but he was going to try. Ku'rt squinted his eyes in a comical fashion, peering over the top of the mound with two snowballs in hand. He looked around, his head turning slightly to scan the weyrbowl. No one aiming for him directly... The blue weyrling brought his arm back, readying to throw the snowball--when snow plopped onto his head, starting to melt and run down his face. "Gah--! What was that??" he exclaimed, jerking his head up to find the source of the snow. He couldn't see it. "Who??"
Frustrated, but having fun, Ku'rt shook his head to clear the snow out of his hair and eyes, his teeth chattering from the cold. "A-alright th-then! L-let's g-go, Aric-coth!" Ku'rt gripped the snowballs in his hands, careful not to break them between his fingers, but scrambled up the side of the blue dragon. "Y-you don't h-have to fly, don't w-worry. I j-just w-want a b-better view!" The blue weyrling hunched over on the dragon's back, looking out over the weyrbowl. Logan and his own dragon, Odiketh, were right over there. Ku'rt aimed and cocked back his arm. With a grunt, the weyrling let the snowball fly, sailing through the air towards Logan. He didn't get a chance to see how bad his aim was though, for Ku'rt slid down Aricoth's leg to get back under cover.
Ku'rt? What is going on? Can I do something? Should I stay here...? Did you hit someone? Are you alright? the blue asked, shifting in his spot. His legs were getting tired from sitting in the same position for so long... Can I help with something? Build the fort up? Aricoth asked, Luna now scrabbling around on his head. Yes, I know, Luna! But you should be helping Ku'rt too. Aricoth crawled forward, guided by Luna, to where Ku'rt was back to building up the mound.
"A fort indeed, Aricoth dear. Looking good so far," Ku'rt shoved a few piles over, patting them down with his free hand to make the fort-in-progress sturdy. "I'll be back, Aricoth!" the weyrling said, getting down on his hands and knees, and crawling to the side. He looked for a new victim, one that wasn't suspecting Ku'rt to sneak up behind him, and pelt him in the back (or face) with a couple of snowballs. Too bad a barrage of snowballs from above made Ku'rt duck, dropping his snowball, and covering his head. "Not again!"
Weyrling Hy'ka and Blue Brynath
The sounds of shouting outside stirred Hy'ka from his nap. It was freezing outside, and he wasn't about to spend time out there. Not while he could take a nap and sleep off the cold too. Raising an eyebrow, Hy'ka rolled over, shoving the furs off to swing his legs over the side of the bed. "Brynath!" Hy'ka called to the blue, stretching with his arms above and behind his head. "Brynath, what's going on outside? Is it something fun that I'm missing? Though I'd rather not go out in the cold..." the weyrling muttered, pulling on his boots by the bedside.
It appears that there is a snowball fight outside, Hy'ka. Someone must've started it. At least it's not a fight that we should be worried about. Yes, they are having fun without you. The blue dragon stuck his head out from behind the curtain to look into the weyrbowl. Snowballs were flying across the 'bowl, and it wasn't something Hy'ka was going to pass up on was it? You're going to join them? Brynath's head snaked into where Hy'ka was getting ready. It looks like you are.
Having fixed up his boots so they were snug on his feet, Hy'ka stretched again and stood up. "Of course, Brynath. I'm going out there to join them. I'm not going to pass up a snowball fight! Not even if I nearly froze out there. And you're not staying behind either!" Hy'ka smirked, raising his eyebrows playfully. "Come on, it'll be fun." The blue weyrling yawned. "Good nap anyway. Even if it was only a few minutes, heh," Hy'ka chuckled, going over to the desk, where his thick and heavy coat waiting draped over the chair. He pulled the coat on, knowing that it would keep him warm while outside in the snow. "Do you know who's winning, by any chance, Brynath?" Hy'ka wondered, adjusting himself so the coat was comfortable on his shoulders.
Brynath snorted. I'm not protesting! he said, opening his mouth in a slight grin. A snowball fight will be fun, and you'll get to spend some time outside, despite the cold. No, I don't know who's winning... I don't even know who is on who's side. All I know is that Ku'rt, Logan, Nomics, Lyrah, Tahli, Riley, and a girl I do not know, are out there, mostly with their respective bonded... Do not take any longer. I don't want it to be over by the time we get out there!
"Fine Brynath, let's go!" Hy'ka smiled, making his way over to the blue. "We're going out your way. Let's take them by surprise?" Hy'ka suggested, patting the blue's foreleg, and slipping outside past the curtain. "Here, come here. Gather this up in your claws," the blue weyrling gestured to the snow that landed on the weyr's ledge. "We're going to 'sprinkle' it over everyone down there... And I'll throw these!" Hy'ka held up a snowball, then added it to the small pile he started to build up. When the weyrling had enough that he could safely hold in his arms, Hy'ka scooped them up, and unsteadily climbed up Brynath's back, sitting just in front of the wing joint. "Ready?" he asked the blue dragon, with snow tightly held in his forelimbs.
Of course! Brynath leapt into the air, with Hy'ka swaying precariously on the beast's back. As the blue circled the sky, dropping clumps of snow down, Hy'ka unleashed his own fury with snowballs thrown off the back of Brynath, aimed at the various participants in the fight. Take that, Brynath growled with pleasure.

Loren acked, trying to duck a snowball thrown by yet *another* dragon. Ivy flitted above, then tried to join in, wrapping miniature firelizard talons into the snow.
Unfortunately, she was a firelizard and not much more than a hatchling, so her efforts were far more comical than effective.
"This isn't fair!" she yelled as she gathered more ammunition, basically pelting anything that moved...human, dragon, or firelizard...that wasn't Ivy. "The dragons shouldn't join in!"
They were so BIG, she thought, looking from blue to blue. Maybe she'd bond a blue one...they were pretty. Of course, a lot of the dragons here had something wrong with them. Well, bridge, cross, come to. As long as her dragon could fly, the girl would be quite, quite happy.
"Those wings are just too effective!" She threw another snowball, at Brynath this time, trying her best not to laugh. She hadn't let go like this in a while. And really, for all her complaining, this WAS a good way to relax and maybe get to know some of these people she might be spending the rest of her life with.
A dragon bonding was not something, apparently, you got to retire from...she supposed that a pair would retire eventually, but...

((im just gonna post for when Odiketh dropped the snow and that will be their leaving since ill be gone for a month and not be able to keep up with this =/))
When the rain of snow fell, Nomics was caught right in the thick of it. And the thrashings of Aricoth as he escaped the powdery tomb did nothing to help. It was cold, wet, white, and difficult to breath with all of the pressure from the snow. Trying not to let paranoia from his claustrophobia take hold, he began trying to determine which way was up.
Yurith roared with fear. He saw the snow fall and thought nothing of it, but when it engulfed HisRider a wave of foreboding washed over him. NOMICS! his mind voice shouted, the little flitter that had tried communicating with him completely forgotten, as he swooped down quick as lightning to save his trapped Bonded. NOMICS! ARE YOU OK?! He gently landed over where he say his Rider fall and gingerly, due to his claws, began clearing away the snow from HisBeloved.
Yurith's shouting was deafening in Nomics' mind. He was almost surprised that it did not cause the ground to quake. Im stuck, Yurith. But im ok. No need to worry. Im fine! Really! But soon he felt the pressure on his left side lessen. Suddenly his face was almost uncovered also. "Ok, Yurith. You done good." From there Nomics was able to fight his way to the open air. When he gained visibility, however, all he could see was a blanket of leathery bronze. For his dragon had mantled him with his wings like a piece of prey. But with what light filtered through, Nomics could see that his fingertips were turning blue and he was shaking violently from even that short time of incarceration.
Realizing that Nomics was definetly NOT ok, Yurith gently grabbed him by his clothes and dragged him out of the fight and toward the arch that led inside and toward the infirmary.
I am sorry everyone, but Nomics is no longer able to keep playing. Good day.
On their way to the Doctor, Yurith mentally chastised His and Nomics mentally apologized for giving Yurith such a fright. In the end they forgave each other and the doctor set Nomics up in the infirmary with a bunch of warm blankets and a cup of hot cocoa, Yurith sitting not far away in the area designated for dragons.
Nomics knew that he might be out for the count at the moment, but if he felt better later, he would definitely rejoin the battle.

Tahli looked over at the fight. It would be amazing to enter it. Snowball fights were awesome. And Freya was already enjoying herself. She kept stealing people's snowballs and dropping them onto unsuspecting people. Soon even Darwin had joined the little green, although she had began bossing him about when he almost hit her with a snowball.
Finally giving into her want to join, Tahli bent down and made a few snowballs herself. Then she went prowling along the edge of the 'Bowl. She threw her first snowball at someone she didn't recognize, but she missed dreadfully.
Suddenly a large clump of snow fell onto her head. She looked up to see blue Brynath and his Rider tossing snow from above. Well, that was hardly fair... Then Tahli had a brilliant idea.
She got Darwin and Freya to come and grab a snowbal each, then between above the pair. When they had done that they let the snowballs drop. Tahli was more than happy to see one land on Brynath's head and the other hit Hy'ka.

Riley made a starngled noise and fell into a heap of snow an teenage boy as a torrent of slushy snow from abouve knocked him prone.
He opened one eye to see a blue dragon dropping snow on people. He yelped and rolled out of the way before he could even fully stand again as a barrage of snowballs flew his way. So, this was guerilla warfare, was it? Alright then.
As if summoned (and she had been) Rio popped into the air next to him, burbling curiously. A few whispered instructions later, and she had her orders. Slinking along the ground and hiding ever-so-sneakily behind clumps of snow, the green crept up on one of the unsuspecting girls neaby and began to toss minute clawfuls of snow at them. Riley just siged and let her do her thing. She was sweet as anything, but kind of dumb.
Too bad it was too early for Risk to be up. The wher's powerful legs would have been great for shoveling snow at people. But he'd already been informed by the grumpy brown that it was WAY too cold out.
