The Fates Are Smiling

Nomics was excited. He was going to be seeing Kumiko again. He didnt know whether or not they had hit it off at the English lesson, but he was more than willing to see her again if she wanted it. He found her intriguing and her accent was delicious. (He loves accents)

He had settled himself in a Big Comfy Couch and waited, munching on a peppermint candy from the vast supply he kept in his pockets.

[Samari]

Kumiko walked into the commons room shyly. She immediately brightened when she saw the bronze rider she came to call friend. Her face flushed slightly. She giggled softly.



"Hello Nomics...I had a feeling..you'd be here.."




Raynith sent a mental chuckle to Hers. She didn't even need to bother with words, it seemed. Kumiko blushed more as her Green figured out why she had tracked Nomics.

Sitting up from his lounging position, he smiled brightly at the telltale accent. "Hey, Kumiko! ooo! your English is getting so good!" He was really glad that she had come. He found her adorable. And she was quite intelligent, perfect for deep and lengthy conversations.

Nomics motioned for her to join him on the couch. He scooched over to make room. "So how have you been, Milady? Surely my absence has not been a cause for much sorrow on your part." He winked at her.

[Samari]

Kumiko giggled. She was rather happy to see Nomics. She walked over to him and sat down. She scooted up to him until the sides of their legs brushed against one another.




"I've crammed. Using Rosetta Stone. Is vurry nifty."


She smiled brightly and leaned against the elder Bronze rider.

At her touch he became mildly confused. Wasnt she... not attracted to men? Eh. It didnt matter. He would play it to its full potential. And he did find her warmth comfortable. He draped his arm over the top of the couch to get more comfortable with Kumiko so close.

"Ah, yes. Rosetta Stone. I used that a while back for Russian. I know some of the basics. But im not nearly so good as you are with English!" He popped another mint into his mouth and continued, saying, "So, uhh. How has your day been so far. Anything exciting happen?"

[Samari]

Kumiko blushed. She wrapped one arm around Nomics' shoulders.




"Yeah...I been thinking about you a lot. I missed you."



Kumiko blushed brighter and kissed Nomics on the cheek. She wished she could put her feelings into words.

Nomics blushed a little at Kumiko's unexpected display of immense affection. He turned his head to look at her in the eyes. "You know, I have been thinking of you a lot also." He smiled widely and said, "I find you quite a memorable individual."

He then leaned in the little way to her face and kissed her on her cheek. He lingered for a moment and whispered in her ear "Though i have no idea what you might see in me that might be the least bit appealing or able to be missed." Drawing back reluctantly, he allowed a serious expression to cross his face. "It seems that this is no place for silly jokes and churlish games." He looked thoughtfully off to the side. "Alas." He stated simply.

Nomics turned back to the pretty girl and stroked her hair gently. He genuinely wanted to know what it felt like and decided that now was as good a time as any to find out. He found it quite enjoyable. After a few moments of this he allowed his hand to fall onto her lap.

[Samari]

Kumiko proceeded to cling to Nomics.





"I've hated this lonely feeling I've had. So far, you are one of the few that have been able to cure it."




Kumiko stared into Nomics' eyes, hoping her emotions would break through to him.
