T'sai didn't understand the question.
"How long do I run time wise, or how often do I run the course?"

Sara blushed some more. Why on earth was she stammering for something to say.
I just triped, Dangit, and I don't need to be a stammering fool over it.
"Umm. Sorry.. I mean how long does it normaly take."

T'sai shrugged.
"The running only takes about forty-five minutes to the town. Then I usually spend about half an hour in the town browsing. After that, it's a forty-five to hour long run back depending on whether I want to sight see or not."
Looking back over at Sara, T'sai suggested she drink some water.

Sara slowed a moment to drink a bit, then caught back up before she got too far behind.
"Oh, browsing, eh? I woulden't immagin that smaler towns had that much to browse.. I've spent too much time in the city. So, do you think you might show me the way around when we get back?"
She looked up to the sky to see her little blue flying nearby, it looked like trying to make friends with a squrel.
"Altho, I think Orros would get jealous."

T'sai continued to look forwards but managed to pull off an attentive demeanor at the same time.
"Sure, not much to it. It shouldn't take to long. The Weyr really is not as confusing as most of the Earth born people seem to think it is. Then again, that could be my Pern upbringing talking and previous service to a Weyr."

"I have only been to a few, but I got so lost, my lost was lost. So I gave up trying to know my way around and just stuck to following Orros. I hope this one is easier to learn."
She truged on, wishing for the cityscapes she was comfortable with.
Ugh. Caves are my home now with the Dragons, so I should just get over this..
She started to slow unconciously, as she thought on about her days back in Alanta, sad yet greatfull she was atleast on the same planet now.

T'sai looked back as he passed Sara. The candidate had a zoned out expression on her face, and T'sai was loath to interrupt her.
"You are going trip or run into something. It is okay to let your mind wander, but do not let it go too far."
Grinning as he noticed where they where, T'sai pointed out their location to Sara.
"We've passed the half way point."

Sara quickly snaped back into focus. How he could tell where they where was a compleate mystery to her.
I will forever have no clue where I am......
She sighed to herself and looked out into the woods.
"Is it always this beautiful around here or does it just come with the snowy time of the year? I can't even think of one time ive seen this much white on the ground."

T'sai blinked thoughtfully.
"Personally, I believe the fall to be the most ascetically pleasing of the seasons, but winter is indeed beautiful. I have yet to experience the other seasons here on Earth in these mountains. I look forward to watching the seasons change."
T'sai looked around a bit more. He ran this course everyday, but the ever changing layer of snow and ice made it different every time.

"Well ok let me fill you in a bit. In the spring around here there are lots of mountain wildflowers that will bloom up with the grasses and moss in literlay any clearing. Like over there"
She pointed to a rather large opening with a snow and ice covered boulder just showing.
"That boulder will be surrounded by little purple and yellow blooms of the area, and will have a carpet looking moss on it, but then into the summer more grasses will grow up and the trees will fill out, if any need to, and make that area darker. Then, one of my favorites, ferns will start to grow. They need less light than most plants.
She hoped she didnt seem too much like a nerd. Flowers and plants where a hobby, but her heart belonged to a city.
"Heh I know my plants."

T'sai listened intently. He had never had much of an interest in plants. In fact for the majority of his life, T'sai was perfectly content to get by only knowing which tree klah came from. As the years went by and he Impressed, he had learned various poisonous and edible plants. That didn't mean his interest had grown any, but seasons he could talk about. T'sai was fond of change. He had traveled most of his life, and liked the way things became so different. Hearing that even these mountains would look utterly foreign soon made his thoughts of staying in one place more pleasant.
"We're coming up on the town. We'll be there in about five minutes."

"Cool. This should be fun. I havent realy been in many small towns. I guess i should try to get Orros to fetch my purse, but I'm going to go ahead and apoligize for the embarresment. he never gets that one right in the first few tries....."
She started to look for the little flit, but couldent find him.
"I don't see him... He must still be trying to give that squriel a rock."
Sara sighed quite loudly.

T'sai blanked. He was unfamiliar with the flora of the surrounding area and wasn't completely sure what a squirrel was. He made a mental note to look it up later. Knowing the names of things might be just as beneficial as knowing them on-sight.
The Brown rider didn't think to hard on the matter since at that moment they entered town.
