Appearance: At a first glance one would not think much of Kiana. She is fairly tall at about five feet and nine inches, has a slender figure, and slightly tanned skin. Long thick waves of dark brown hair run just to the middle of her back, her face framed in choppy bangs which hide high-arched brows. Her eyelashes are also quite thick as if trying to soften her piercing gaze. Kiana's eyes are hazel colored for the most part; brown at the center which becomes a dark green as you look towards the edges. But then the green becomes very pale, almost gray for just a millimeter or two before the dark rim around the iris. This makes Kiana's eyes pop behind her dark hair, and catches the full attention of anyone she is speaking to. If not for their color, Kiana's eyes would grab little attention, since they are naturally thin and squinted. A small, slender nose leads to a set of straight, unremarkable lips; not too pouty, but certainly not thin. Kiana's jawline is slender, matching the rest of her features, and slopes down to her small pointed chin.
Despite her tall, slender frame, Kiana does have some curves. Rather large breasts sit above a small waist, which slopes gently down and outward, widest at the hips, continuing in an even curve to her knees. This gives her a subtle hourglass shape. Her legs are also fairly long, and make for a nice, even gait.
Kiana enjoys dark, rich colors in her wardrobe. The majority of her clothing is a mix of black, all shades of grey and navy blue, but she also incorperates some rich greens, reds, blues and purples from time to time. Jeans are the norm, with pajama pants making an appearence every once in a while. Band shirts are also a staple. She usually wears her long hair down, but can put it up in a ponytail if working. A few shorter layers, along with her bangs, always hang out of whatever style she puts it in, constantly making a frame around her delicate face. She never bothered with any primping as a young girl, and still has never used any type of makeup. Not to be vain, but Kiana feels like she doesn't need any of that. She would rather be thought of as naturally pretty, and if people don't agree, then oh well.

Name: Caleth ( kal-eth )

Age: Hatchling
Appearance: Caleth is tiny; smaller then Ruth of Pern. Otherwise her body structure is fairly sound and proportionate, like any other gold's. Her hide is quite a different story however. As if you had somehow made a gold-white hybrid, Caleth's coloration is starkly pale in comparison to other healthier gold queens. This makes her look rather etheral at first glance and still sickly when up close. Yet don't be fooled, her hide can attain the lusty sheen that other golds do, it only takes a bit more work on Kiana's part to polish her up with oils.
Personality: Caleth is a very light-hearted gold, unlike her larger and more serious sisters. This trait, rather unusual in queens, makes her a perfect playmate for Kiana and can always cheer her up when she's sad or afraid. Caleth enjoys playing games, like hide-and-seek, using her tiny size to her advantage. Amidst all the flamboyance and play, however, lies the down-to-earth core of Caleth's personality. She understands that she is in fact a queen, even if she doesn't look like it to most, and takes her responsibility seriously when she needs to. Even so, she tries never to be rude or to look down upon anyone, and hardly ever feels the need to pull rank on any other dragon. Because of her size, it may be difficult, if not impossible for Caleth to clutch. Instead of a bronze or a brown, she might have to be caught by a blue, or even a white, just because of the sheer size the eggs would be any other way. This predicament hasn't really hit the young weyrling yet though, and may only become a problem when she's ready to Rise for the first time.

Age: Hatchling
Appearance: Moe is a healthy looking firelizard. Being rather young still, he is only a foot long, but his body proportions are spot on. His wings are slightly larger than the norm, giving him an easier time of gliding and getting off the ground, however it hampers any attempts at agile turning. As for his coloration, the best way to describe this brown would be to compare him to polished wood. Is hide is a dark, rich adler color, and even has the faintest impression of curving and circular patterns of darker lines. Wether that is a trick of the light, or an actual feature of his hide, no one seems to know.
Personality: Moe is a very calm and loving flitter. He cares for His deeply, and has made great friends with his pale queen, Caleth. He enjoys playing with them both, but is not in it for the long haul, most of the time cutting out of the fun about halfway in to search for a sunny spot to watch the two from. It isn't so much that he's lazy, Moe simply likes to sit back and take in the world, rather than invest all his energy into being a part of it. Moe is also very protective of His and Caleth. The tiny gold is his queen, and he's beginning to treat her more and more as such as she grows. If anyone were to try and harm or make fun of Caleth, Moe would be sure to give them an earfull of screeching for their rudeness; and then of course go curl up on Kiana's shoulder to relax his rare, pent up nerves.
