Drawing out a long and loud sigh, I’nao leaned back in the comfy chair. This was his first day at Isle... He arrived early in the morning, a little sleepy, but ready for the day none-the-less. Learning that he was at Isle Weyr, not Rocky, put a damper on the situation, but the bluerider wasn’t about to head back to Pern, where he wouldn’t see Keltin at all. At least on Earth, there was the slightest chance. But still, the day had worn out the bluerider, who wasn’t used to the time changes yet.
He had fallen into one of the chairs in the common room, not caring who else was around, and closed his eyes. I’nao was shirtless and unashamed as he sunk into the warm fabric that made up the soft furniture he was trying to take a nap on. I’nao peeked out at the common room, spotting a few riders and handlers, but no one was standing out to him, not to mention that the lack of light this late at night was making it hard to see... He wasn’t a wher!
I’nao, I am going to sleep... Will you be alright by yourself? his blue had to ask. Zimanrath wasn’t as affected by the knowledge of Isle Weyr being their new location, but he did feel the sorrow his rider felt at not seeing Keltin.
Zi, dear, of course I will... Though I’d love to see Keltin, and you already know that, the bluerider chuckled. His eyes drifted shut again, and his breathing deepened. He was drifting off to sleep in the common room, but the chair was so welcoming and inviting... How could he not? Good night, Zimanrath. I’nao felt the blue’s mental grunt in response, and he smiled, opening his eyes a crack. His blue might be sleeping, but I’nao wasn’t planning on it just yet.

Lothaia was experiencing a particularly sleepless night. She had gotten up from her cozy weyr to take a walk around her new home. Pixieth was sleeping peacefully, and was dreaming of the desert air of Igen. Lothaia missed her home, but was of the mindset that Pixieth would have a better life here.
The girl found her way to the Common Room and spotted another Rider. Fardles, he was handsome! She found herself blushing furiously. There were certainly not any attractive men like him at Igen! She then noticed the Dragon candidatemaster's knots on his other arm. Oh lord. She was surely in trouble now, blushing at a ranker like him!

Sighing again, I’nao tilted his head back, his skull pressing into the cushions of the chair. Oh, was he being obnoxious with his sighing? Too bad. The rider chuckled under his breath, his eyes fully closing as he laughed. There were only a few people in the common room, most of which probably were going to be heading to bed soon, or else to whatever duties they had this late at night, in regards to the wher handlers.
Tricky things, whers. I’nao didn’t hold them in high esteem, since one had decided to steal away his darling Keltin, but that wasn’t the wher’s fault directly. Keltin wanted it, so I’nao obliged. I’nao let out a breath that he didn’t realize he was holding, his sigh this time one of sadness and longing. The bluerider coughed lightly, and opened his eyes. He let them run over the dimly-lit room slowly, and I’nao nearly jumped out of his seat when he saw that someone staring at him.
A young lady... “Hello,” I’nao proceeded, pulling himself forward. He sat up straight. “And how are you this fine night?” the rider asked, tilting his head and staring at the young woman.

Lothaia's heart about stopped when he spoke. Oh no oh no oh no! She became very flustered, bringing her hand up to her mouth to clear her throat. Curse Pixieth's proddiness! It had gotten her into a tizzy. She inhaled sharply through her nose. "I-I-I'm okay. A little restless, but nothing a little stroll can't fix."
Pixieth woke up from the sudden spike in emotions from Lothaia. Her head came up, her eyes an anxious yellow rimmed with orange. Hers was missing! Lothaia? LOTHAIA?! Where are you, my Lothaia?[/color] Her wings flared up and she scrabbled to her feet.
Lothaia's eyes glazed over as she reached out to her dragon, with soothing thoughts. "Calm, my dearest. I am merely reacting..to feelings of attraction. You are starting to rub off on me." She turned her attention back to the bluerider and chuckled nervously. "Sorry bout that..my green just woke up and couldn't find me.."

At the young woman’s words, I’nao raised a dubious eyebrow. He didn’t fail to notice the slight blush on her face as she stammered out her reply to the bluerider’s question. “A little restless...” he repeated with a slight smirk on his face. What went unsaid was his silent question on what she was really doing. Taking a walk, or trying to scope out the men? I’nao wasn’t interested in her--but if she had the same taste as him...
But even as I’nao watched her, she seemed to space out, as if not fully there anymore. He recognized the sight of a rider communicating with their dragon, and he shrugged to himself. Falling into the chair again, he allowed the warm fabric to rub at the bare skin on his back. “Hm. Your dragon was worried? How old are you?” the rider wondered. “Your dragon must be young then, if she was that worried about where you were.”
I'nao glanced over at the woman again. She was blushing still. I'nao suppressed a smile, though he was sure that she would have noticed the corners of his mouth turning upwards. Instead, he looked away. She was clearly embarrassed if she was as flushed as that. Why make the situation worse?
