Sammy sighed. It was late afternoon, and the sun was setting on Isle Weyr. She felt so far away from everything... far from her family and even farther from the friends- what few- she'd made on Pern and at Rocky in the short time she was there. Rianth turned her head, curiosity in her large, expressive eyes. Mine, why sigh? It is nice here. Rianth paused, and her stomach made rumbling noises. Mine...I am hungry. I go to feeding grounds? Sammy smiled at her dragon's question, but frowned a moment later. "Maybe it isn't such a good idea for you to fly down there alone. You just took a big flight*between* with those Bronzes.. I'd imagine you're tired?" Rianth thought for a second, and nodded. I am tired. But hungry too Mine. Food? "I'll walk you down to it, alright?" Sammy wasn't even sure if this Weyr had a *true* feeding grounds... But she might as well find out now.
Their weyr was only big enough for Sammy- Rianth wouldn't fit- so the two had been resting outside the entrance to the Weyr. Now, Rianth hop-skipped forwards eagerly, with Sammy following tentatively. It would soon be dark, she guessed by the way the light of the sun looked; Hopefully Rianth wouldn't get tired halfway home.
Home... This new Weyr was so empty-seeming, she hadn't bumped into anyone at all since those Bronzes from Rocky left them. Did you notice how quiet it is, Rianth? The Green turned her rounded head and tilted it to the side, thinking about it. Is quiet, Mine. Nice quiet? You not like it. It's not that i don't like the silence...I'm just not used to anything like this. I'd give anything to see or hear another person or Dragon! She exclaimed.
They continued walking to the left of the Weyr, but so far hadn't found anything. "Why don't we try the other direction?"

Lothaia and Green Dwarf Pixieth Lothaia was watching Pixieth stomping around what they called the "feeding grounds" of Isle Weyr. The mini-green had definitely taken on an otherworldly shine. This worried the Igen-native rider quite a bit. She'd never had any..'experience' in anything of an intimate nature, and she was terrified of Pixieth Rising. Lothaia was startled from her reverie by a grouchy snarl from her green. Lothaia, there is a half-wit green approaching MY feeding grounds! Shall I run her off? The greenrider gave a firm No to Pixieth, hoping to avoid any conflict. She went in search of the other green and her rider. After about 15 minutes, she spotted the green and a female accompanying her. Lothaia approached the other girl and bowed curteously. "Hello there. My name is Lothaia, and my green is Pixieth..Excuse her in advance if she's rude..She's..proddy. I assume you are looking for the feeding grounds?" The young woman turned around and sent a thought back to her moody green. Don't you dare try anything. Behave for once in your life you spoiled git.

With the setting sun, I’nao found himself going for a leisurely flight around the weyr bowl. That was the one part of the day that I’nao could be alone with his thoughts, instead of someone bothering him at the door to his weyr with some new dragon candidate master duty that he had never heard of. Slipping away, I’nao was grateful to be outside in the chilly air with his dragon. Not to mention that Zimanrath loved the chance to fly for fun with his rider on his back.
It wasn’t long before the pair both heard the sounds of an angry dragon stomping through the bowl. Zimanrath looked back at I’nao with a tilt of his head, and the candidate master raised an eyebrow, as if to say ‘I dunno’. The blue took this to mean that they should land, and see what was going on, which was a bit to the rider’s disappointment. However, getting closer and seeing that the dragon in question was a green, I’nao’s eyes lit up. A male greenrider for him to toy with?
And a green for me to introduce myself to. Zimanrath’s sleek form quickly approached the smaller than normal green dragon. He landed, careful to keep out of reach of the green, and allowed I’nao a moment to climb down before the blue set to work wooing the miniature green. Why are so you annoyed? Shouldn’t one as lovely as you take care to not injure yourself in such a fit? the blue purred, lowering his head to the green’s level, and taking cautious steps forward.
I’nao felt bold, having stepped down from the back of his dragon fully ready to introduce himself to the rider of the green. He turned on his heels, only to see, first, another green not too far away, and two females, one of which looked oddly familiar. “Oh...” he groaned, realizing that there was no man in sight, other than him. Begrudgingly, I’nao walked up to the two females, noticing as he approached that he recognized the lighter brown-haired female. He racked his brain for her name, dully realizing that he wasn’t one for remembering the names of women.
“Lothaia... Right?” I’nao chanced, hoping that he was right. “And I assume that’s your dragon back there, stomping around?” the rider asked, reaching up to smooth back his wind-blown black hair, and adjusting his riding leathers. He looked to the dark-haired newcomer, “I don’t believe we’ve met either. I’m I’nao. I’m dragon candidate master here, and Zimanrath is my blue.” I’nao gestured back to the purple-hued dragon that was flirting with the proddy green.
Feeling that I’nao said his name, Zimanrath lifted his head and looked over from where he was standing, just now noticing the other green dragon. Am I fortunate today! I’m being graced by the presence of two greens! Two regal emerald beauties. May I introduce myself to you two? the blue asked, stepping away from the mini-green to face both green dragons at once. I am Zimanrath, and I am honored to be in your presence, my dear greens.

Rianth snorted in surprise as another woman came up to Her's. Who's she? She saying hi? the Green asked Sammy. Samantha smiled at Lothaia.
"Hey, my name's Samantha- er, Sammy. This is Rianth, she's got... down syndrome, but don't worry, she won't take any offense" she chuckled. "Oh, your Green's proddy? Is it going to be a first Flight, whenever it happens?" She asked, then immediately wondered if she was being nosey.
Rianth got a confused look on her face as yet another human came over to Her's. Rianth, don't worry. He's the rider of the Blue- go talk to his Blue- Ziman...Zimanrath he said. She told the Green, who nodded quietly and ambled over to the smaller Green.
Sammy turned to I'nao. "Nice to meet you- as I told Lothaia, I'm Samantha, but i like being called Sammy. Rianth there is mine, obviously" You're Mine, not other way 'round, silly. Samantha tried not to laugh out loud at this comment.
Rianth looked at the other Green, whose name was Pixieth. Hello Pixieth. She said curtly, then noticed the Blue. Hello Zimanrath. Yours is CandidateMaster? Sh esaid, trying to come up with a topic, even though she really wanted to go and eat something. But Rianth had the feeling the mini-Green would become angry... maybe if she waited for the Blue to get her attention?
Sammy looked back at Rianth Ri, if you want to eat, eat! But try and get to know the other two, okay? She shifted, and shivered in the cold evening air. Without noticing, the sun had gotten even lower in the sky, and the temperature was quickly dropping.
Sammy looked at the two Riders. "Do you think it's a little cold out here? Does Isle Weyr have a common Room? 'Cause i want to talk, not freeze."
