I.C. Date: Week of December 11th, 2011 I.C. Time: Dawn Alex stretched languidly where she stood watching the sky slowly brighten the rare sight of powder blue morning sky. A blanket of freshly fallen snow blanketed the sides of the surrounding mountains, the reflected light enough to blind should one see it at the wrong angle at the wrong time. Eturynth had become more short-tempered lately, her already pale hide paling to a greenish seeming white, camouflaging sleek and willowy mass in the snow where she lay near the peak of the Rocky Weyr. Her tail twitched every few seconds, the lids of her eyes twitching in time with her dreams. She had begun her sleep the day before, after eating a dainty meal of a single fresh kill. She had been uneasy for weeks. Would today finally be the day? Alex wondered, greedily waiting for the last act that would prove her to be worthy of her title. Would her pale beauty Rise in lust? The answer came but moments later. High above in the snow frosting her breath and attempting to cool her heated hide, she woke with a jolt. It was her time; it was her time to prove that she was seperate, above, complete. She slipped into the air with a seductive roar of challenge. Come to me, Browns and Bronzes! Come Chase and win a prize unlike any you have ever imagined! Don't forget, love, that only the blood can be had, Alex murmured, her own eyes filling with lust, her body reacting to the promise. A beast screamed in terror as a goddess overcame it and pulled it to the ground.

Browns and bronzes? She was a green, though, and Woruth would prove that she was, by trying to limit her flight that way, missing out!
"Oh no you don't!" Loren cried, realizing what her blue was doing...but it was too late, the blue was already in the air, already angling towards the feeding grounds.
Not only had the green specifically *not* invited blues, but if there was a rider she wanted less to do with she could not think of it. Maybe S'tor, but she was in no risk of tangling in flight lust with *him*. Fortunately. But Woruth was not listening, crying a challenge to the crazy green who thought she was above being chased by such a fine fellow as him.
"Shard it all to hell," the dark-skinned girl grumbled, cheerfully mixing cultures in her swear words as she sought Alex. Not that she wanted to. Maybe, she thought, she could go hide in a weyr somewhere...
Chances were that Eturynth would chase Woruth out of her flight after her words anyway, but he was determined...
Likely he was chasing her precisely *because* she had said that. Contrary dragon...

Gorth, a dark stain resembling a rock in the snow, looked up in search of the green that had called to them. She wanted to be chased by only browns and bronzes? well, she was confident and presumptuous, but Gorth decided he would Chase...
Kain felt the sudden lust as he lay in bed, relaxing and absorbing the information that he was going to be a father in a few short months. What he did not need, was his crazy bronze deciding to chase... AGAIN...
But Kain had given up trying to keep the bronze from chasing greens. Gorth was going to Chase whether Kain wanted him to or not. With a sigh, Kain pushed the covers aside and marched out of his weyr, looking for Alex.
Then it hit him. Gorth was chasing Alex's green. Alex! The one who had caused so much trouble before the eggs had been stolen at the last hatching... Kain growled to himself, mentally cursing his dragon.
Gleaming Eturynth! This bronze shall Chase. Gorth called out to the lovely green. He stopped for only a moment to blood a bull, before launching himself into the skies again. He was determined to win this time!

Eturynth snarled as a Blue answered her summons. Such a lowly creature, small and delicate and utterly idiotic. Such a waste of time....
But then again, there was a Bronze. A Bronze that was more than just any Bronze. He was the Weyrleader's Bronze! Perfect, for both Alex and Eturynth. He was weak, with little stamina, but he was enough and far better than Woruth.
Chase if you wish, Woruth. You have no hope of winning me! Eturynth turned her head to follow the blue, her venous words biting and filled with her disdain and disgust. With that, she turned to Gorth, who was winging through the air above her.
Alex's eyes widened with astonishment as she saw Woruth gliding toward Eturynth, intending to Chase her. Was the Blue mad? She would tear him to bits before she ever let a Blue Catch her! But Gorth was there as well, so all was not lost.
She knew that Loren and Kain would come to her, so she made it easy for them to do so. She stepped into the Weyr once more, sliding the jacket off and perching comfortingly against the door frame. Yes...she heard Kain come, at least. Who cared about the girl? She had no chance!
Gorth....How nice to see you again, the Green murmured, her voice silky and sweet as she ran her whirling eyes greedilly over him. Shall we? she asked, leaping into the sky.
She began a steep ascent, teasingly touching her wingtips to his hide as she passed. She looked effortless as she climbed the wind with updrafts and wingbeats. She slowed just enough to flick him with her tail before accelerating once more.

Stupid bronze...too big and clunky, surely...but it was clear that the green did not want him.
But Woruth would not just drop out. That would prove to her that he was just some weak creature. She was only a green, not a gold...he would have known better than to chase a gold. Even Kimath, who was not the brightest spark, knew not to try for queens.
He pursued, he took off after her, he sought thermals to allow him to keep up. Early speed was his best chance against the bronze competition...and he would prove to her that even if she did not choose him, he was worth her attention.
Loren, still angry at her blue for being stupid enough to chase a green who was making it clear she wouldn't choose him, stalked towards Alex's weyr. Lust mingled with her irritation, but she was sure she could find somebody around here to slake it with. There was a reason sexual mores were loose at a Weyr...and she had come to accept that.
Or, perhaps, she was rather naturally inclined that way. But gah. Stupid blue. Why hadn't he chased Ladeth? Or...there were so many greens, why did he have to pick the arrogant bitch with the equally annoying rider?

Kain finally came to Alex's weyr, finding her leaning against the doorframe. He silently sighed to himself. Of all the greens in the Weyr to chase, Gorth had chosen to chase Eturynth! Why that green? Kain stopped just outside the door, waiting to see if Alex would make her suitors wait outside, or allow them inside.
Gorth had no such things on his mind. His mind was focused completely on Eturynth. He was determined not to lose this one, this most splendid of greens. He watched her take to the skies, teasing him as she went. Her wingtips brushed his hide as she ascended into the skies, and she flicked him with her tail as she passed him. It was all Gorth could do not to reach out and take her right then.
Eturynth! You are more brilliant than the dawn! The usually unpoetic bronze was surprised by the words that came from him. Almost as surprised as his rider was.
Gorth started his acsent to follow the brilliant green before him. Gorth wasn't surprised with how fast she was, but he was surprised with how she completely ignored the blue that had chosen to Chase. He knew she had called for browns and bronzes, but she couldn't have expected no blue to Chase...
Gorth pushed those thoughts from his mind. He needed to focus solely on Eturynth. He would not lose her. He would win this flight. As he followed Eturynth, at a less steep angle due to his bulk, Gorth let out a ferocious roar. He pumped his wings as hard as he could, attempting to catch up with the green glory ahead of him. He saw the blue, Woruth, speed ahead of him.
He would not be outdone by a blue!

Eturynth cast one last disgusted glance at the speeding Blue while she climbed the sky. Idiot. Moron. Sharding fool! As if she'd allow such a disappointment to Catch her! She hovered, waiting for Gorth as he struggled after her, hating and defying the Blue's attempts to seduce her with the might of his aerobatics and lightness. Little did he know that she was more 'into' feats of strength and size.
She crooned as she listened to the poetic words the bronze flung at her. Not that she really cared for literacy. She truly only cared about possible ties to power and such. Hmm. Yes, well, time for the fun!
Gorth roared in defiance as the Blue got just a little too close to her. Frankly, she agreed. Hissing savagely, she launched herself at Woruth, for all intents and purposes panning on driving him from the sky with the tearing sharpness of her claws and fangs.
As soon as she was done with this pestering fool, she would end the Chase.
Alex smiled slightly as she saw Kain, looking like a thunderhead, rounding that last corner and coming to a stop before her. With a tinkling laugh she pushed herself away from the wooden framing, wrapping one arm languidly around the Weyrleaders neck and kissing him lustfully. Pressing herself against the man, Alex broke away after a few moments. "Come on, Weyrleader.... Don't you know how to have a little fun?"
Smiling, she pulled him into her weyr, closing the door behind them, locking it.

Woruth hissed as the green suddenly...turned on him? Turned on him? Wasn't he a fine, high quality blue, worthy of any green's attentions?
He twisted sideways, trying to evade her attack without retaliating, because he wasn't going to slash at the female. Other males, perhaps, but not the female. Twisted again, and then he dived. If she was going to be like *that*, then he was done with her. Radiating thoughts of just how horribly obnoxious the green was, he dropped to a landing in the bowl, snarling and tearing at the ground with his talons.
She was a bitch.
"Bitch!" Loren exclaimed, turning to run from the corridor outside Alex's weyr and running to her dragon. Hopefully he'd know better than to chase Eturynth again. Clearly, she just plain didn't fancy him, and it wasn't like *she* fancied *Alex*.
In fact, her exclamation was pretty much equal opportunity, aimed at both dragon and rider.

Gorth watched as Eturynth turned to attack Woruth. In his lust filled mind, the bronze believed the blue got what he deserved. Eturynth had made it obvious that she wouldn't accept a blue, yet he had chased anyway...
Gorth continued after Eturynth. He was almost caught up with her, his powerful wings carrying him high. His breathing was beginning to be labored, but Gorth didn't care. He was going to win this flight...!
He crooned to Eturynth as he managed come up on her right side, and slightly above her. He made sure not to touch her. He didn't want those sharp talons tearing into him...
Kain groaned as Alex wrapped an arm around him and then pressed a lustful kiss to his lips.
"Come on, Weyrleader.... Don't you know how to have a little fun?"
Kain growled at her, allowing her to pull him into the room. He smirked when she locked the door, and he ached to take her then and there. But he had to wait for his dragon to win the flight. He knew Gorth was the only Chaser left, but Kain still had to wait. Just like Gorth's fear of taking Eturynth before she chose, Kain feared taking Alex before she chose.
But he could have some fun...
Kain wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling Alex against him. This time he pressed the lustful and feverish kiss to her lips. He was beyond thinking about ever reason why he shouldn't be doing this.

She hissed in satisfaction as Woruth lost his temper and flew off, literally, in a rage. As a beautiful Green who refused smaller, less important advancements toward her and spurned any affection but of her Rider, Eturynth was ready to finish this flight before any other tried to destroy what she was creating.
Yes...she knew what she wanted. And though it was, at this particular point in time, a defective Bronze, it was still a Bronze, and better uet, it was a Bronze above mosy other Bronzes and Browns and all pathetic Blues. Yes. He would do.
come, Gorth. Why wait? There is no other test than this. The Green stetched her wings widely, her neck turned just slightly, only enough so that a hint of ththe profile of her head could be seen from above. They were far above the cliffs and the mountains, far enough up so that the low clouds brushed at their hot hides.
Alex gasped as Kain pulled her roughly against him, as Kain covered her lips with his. She supposed that she had known things would be like this- at least at first. But it was still surprising, in a way, as in such acts she was usually the one doing these things. But for the moment, ahe would savor the switch in roles.

Gorth bugled his triumph, winging up to twine his neck and tail with Eturynth. She was right. There was no other test. This was the time to take her, and take her he would.
Kain, connected with his dragon as he was, did much the same. With a gutteral growl he lifted Alex into his arms and carried her to the bed.
((Sorry for short post. Gorth/Kain muse hates me right now...))
