IC Date: September 2011 IC Time: 5:34 p.m. Tamahome stirred. He didn't want to wake up. He was warm and comfortable, even though there seemed to be pins and needles in his arm. He didn't care about that, anyway. He was absolutely not moving from this spot! A sleepy sigh and the feel of a feminine body moving against his woke Tamahome with a start. His vibrant blue eyes snapped open, remembering the events of the previous night. Jackaloth had chased and won gold Xenith. He had spent the night, and what appeared to be most of the following day, with Samira... He smirked. Oh, he knew he would get hell from Aurora about it, but that didn't matter at this time. Tamahome propped himself up on one arm to look down at Samira. She seemed comfortable and enjoying her sleep. If he wasn't imagining it, he could see a slight smile on her lips. He leaned down and lightly kiss the corner of her lips. "Good morning, Samira." He whispered in her ear. Meanwhile, Jackaloth slept soundly. His body was wrapped around gold Xenith. One of his wings lay over her body in the sense of holding her close. It also served as a protective gesture. Jackaloth's tail was twined with Xenith's tail, and his head rested on her shoulder as her head was pillowed on his paws.

Samira sighed, her lips opening slightly as she surfaced the black pool of her dreams. She was warm and snuggled against something, and she was to comfortable to cover herself up where a draft struck her exposed flesh. She smiled as she felt warm breath on her cheek and a gentle kiss on her lips.
"Good morning, Samira."
Hers eyes snapped open as those few words triggered the release of memories that were but a few hours old. Xenith and Jackaloth, and then Tamahome. She closed her eyes against the vertigo she experienced at the rapid swirl of images. She settled them, much as she would the flits when they got excited, and openned them to find her lover watching her intently.
"G'morning, Tomahome," she murmured, grinning. "How late is it? And how much trouble are you in?" She stretched luxoriously, her hazel eyes half closed. For being in bed for so long, she was spectacularly exhausted.

Tamahome watched her carefully as she awoke. She seemed to have forgotten the events of last night as surely as he had. But flight memories never stayed unrecalled. He chuckled as she greeted him and stretched. Her question caught him off guard, however.
He laughed lightly. "Don't know, and right now, don't care." He answered both questions with that simple statement. "How are you feeling, Samira?" Tamahome asked. He knew how rough flightlust could be...
Jackaloth sighed with a rumble, shifting slightly to make himself more comfortable without waking Xenith. The brown, ready to go back to sleep, had a single message for His.
Aurora is on the rampage for you, mine. Jackaloth drifted back to sleep before Tamahome could respond.

Sam laughed, eyes twinkling in amused agreement above a comic grimace that spoke volumes. Oh, the jealous fit the Weyrwoman must be in! It would go on for days. And with Faith, who was to stop her? Still, she would attempt to deal with that when it came.
"I'm all right, Tamahome. Really. I'll probably feel a lot worse when she wakes up," she said, glancing lovingly at the almost hidden form or Xenith. The Gold, asleep as she was, was curled into a circle. Even from the distance, Sam could see her tailtips and eyelids twitching with whatever dream was flooding her mind at that moment. She shifted herself off of her own arm, barely refraining from wincing as she felt a wave of aches from her sore body. "But I could use some klah- or anything to dring, really!"
She watched Tamahome, noticing the flash of that stange look one always got when talking to their beast. "What?" she asked, curious.

Tamahome arched a brow. "Aurora is looking for me, is all." he answered. He moved so that he wasn't leaning over Samira when she began to get up. "Why would you feel worse once Xenith wakes?" He asked curiously.
Tamahome sat up, stretching his arms over his head. He winced when the muscles in his shoulders bunched painfully. But he felt wonderful. Tamahome had to admit he hadn't felt this relaxed and at ease in a very long time. So long a time he couldn't remember the last time.
He chuckled with that thought.
At that moment the angry roar of a dragon, distinctly Faith, rang through the air. Jackaloth's wing twitched where it lay over Xenith. Otherwise, the large brown didn't respond.

"Because she will want to be up, and I will not! The silly beast will start her fussing." Samira glanced out at the two dragons again before sitting up completely, tucking one of her soft blankets about her as the Weyrleader stretched. They were at peace, sleeping as they were. Nothing would bother them for quite a while, she decided.
Tamahome stretched, wincing as he felt something akin to what the small framed Goldrider had experienced moments before. She smiled almost apologetically, or began to, when she heard his chuckles. "What's so funny!" she protested, a comically confronted look placed squarely across her face.
Of course, she heard Faith's angry roar immediately, her head snapping toward the entrance of the weyr, nervousness flickering. She of course knew Faith's abnormality, and was somewhat scared of the Green in such a state. Xenith responded to growling in her slumebr and rearranged herself, slippingbfarther down after a few moments.

Tamahome followed Samira's glance to the door. He, too, wondered if Aurora would be pounding on it next or not. He doubted it. He knew Aurora pretty well, and he believed she would wait for him and Samira to leave the safety of her weyr before she bombarded them. So he turned back to Samira.
"I'm chuckling because I can't remember the last time I felt this good." He smiled at Samira as he looked around for his clothes. He knew they were around here somewhere.
((Sorry about the short post Wolfy. I'm exhausted. Job Corps seems to not believe in heating the concrete dorm rooms... So I haven't slept well...))

((My muse has decided to become very drowsy lately, so I appologize...))
She smiled back, but a scared looked stayed shimmering in her hazel eyes. Putting on a brave face, she said, "Your clothes are probably closer to the door, love." She motioned toward the solid looking wood door with her head. She stiffled a yawn as she watched the nude Brownrider cast about in a vain attempt to locate the missing apparel.
Finally, she leaned over and, hanging headfirst off of the bed, she gazed underneath, wondering if by some chance....Aha! "Here!" she cried, flinging the bundle of crumpled cloth at him and laughing as he turned in time for it to cover his head and recieve a face full. Sam got up, holding her blanket about her, and began rummaging through her closet, searching for clothes suitable enough for her to go to the Dining Hall in.

Tamahome pulled the clothes off his face. He grinned at Samira as he pulled his trousers up, buttoning them in place. He watched her dig through the closet, presumably to find some clothing. Tamahome had a sudden, and very devious, thought.
He tiptoed over to Samira quietly, until he was standing right behind her. With a deep throated laugh, Tamahome reached down and picked Samira up bridal style. He swung her around in a circle before he placed a soft kiss on her lips.
((NAH! Evil short posts...!))

The young Weaver squealed as she felt herself lifted suddenly off her feet and swung around. Without even registering who itwas, instinct set in and she began to struggle, pushing and kicking to get away. Only when she felt the kiss did she finally figure out that it was Tamahome that had surprised her so.
She froze as the fact registered, suddenly embarrassed for her behavior. But she couldn't resist the sweetness of it.
She hooked her arms around his neck, surrendering. She was comfortable with him, as comfortable as Xenith obviously was with Jackaloth. After a few more moments, she pulled back, stopping before she decided she should stay just a little bit longer. She leaned into Tamahome, eyes half lidded and torn between her body's need for nourishment and her mind's want for more.
Her predicament became all too clear as a loud grumble sounded from her midsection.

Tamahome barely even noticed Samira's struggles. He enjoyed her kiss very thoroughly, however, and groaned in disappointment when she pulled away. He held her when she snuggled up against him. He smiled to himself. He agreed with her thoughts, which he could not possibly have heard. He was so very comfortable with her, possibly even more so than Jackaloth was with Xenith. And this surprised the brown-rider.
When Tamahome heard the rumble from Samira's midsection, he couldn't help but laugh. It was obvious she needed nourishment, and he had no right to keep her from it. Tamahome leaned down and lightly kissed her lips once more before setting her on her feet.
"We should get you down to the dining hall. You need to eat." He smiled caringly down at her.

She grinned, snatching up the green knit, hooded knee length dress and the cream leggings that she had seen just before Tamahome had snatched her. Slipping garments on, the girl went to the mirror, expertly braiding some strands of her hair and tying them back.
Turning around, she waited for the Weyrleader to finish dressing.
"Men! They always think we're the slowest when it comes to dressing!" she cried, rolling her eyes as she waited. "Did you lose your shoes, or did you come in without them?" She slipped on some ballet flats, complete with sparling bows across the toes.
Xenith yawned, displaying an impressive array of teeth. If you don't mind, I am trying to sleep,[/color][/i] she mumbled to no one in particular, or rather, to the annoying Hatchling that kept prodding her headknobs. Silly purple dragons.

Tamahome laughed. "What would the point be in shoes? It was far too warm last night to wear shoes. But as for women taking the longest to get dressed... I think that's only true in Aurora's case." He mentioned, looking at the ceiling in thought.
He looked over at Samira and smiled, fully intending to follow her out of the weyr. But as soon as they left this room, he knew he would have to leave Samira to deal with Aurora and her obviously hurt pride. Not to mention, he would have to calm Aurora so she could calm Faith.
Because no one wanted Faith to use her forced rapport on Xenith or Jackaloth...

Sam bit her lip to keep from laughing out loud. Marching to the door, she openned it, surprised that it had been locked. She didn't remember either of them stopping to lock it. But then again, she was kind of busy at the moment. MaybePorli had popped in to do it. Porli did things like that.
As if on cue, the tomboyish green flit appeared above her. Chirping questioningly, she circled first Sam's head and then Tamahome's. Eventually she landed on his shoulder, where she gave him a nice strong headbutt. Leaning back once her greeting had been given, she nodded her head rather foolishly.
"Porli, you stop that!" Sam was openmouthed in dismay and amusement. "He didn't do anything, and you know it. Sorry," she added, looking Tamahome in the eye. "That is, just o you know, nothing compared to what Keno will do once he gets at you."
Flinging the door wide open, she turned around and cried, just because she felt like it, "To war!" before marching out.
((My muse ha gone haywire. Every minute or so it changes to a differnt character!))

Tamahome arched a brow. Then the green flit came in, circling both of them before landing on his shoulder. His arm was halfway to scratch the flit's eyeridges when he headbutted him in the chin. His hand moved to the small red mark, looking at the green in disbelief.
"What was that for?" He asked Samira after she seemed to apologize for her green's behavior. Then he heard her mention Keno. "Wait a minute, Samira... Who is Keno?" He asked.
He was too late. Having shouted "To War!" Samira was already out the door. Tamahome hurried after her, the green apparently still on his shoulder.
((Sorry for the bleh post. Not in that much of a chiper, posty mood.))

She stopped a few feet from the door just long enough to let Tamahome catch up to her. As they walked, Sam reached over and started to slowly remove Porli's claws from the Brownrider's shirt.
"I can in no way justify her behavior, except that she might be spending too much time in Keno's company. And, don't worry, Keno is no huge guy waiting to break your neck around the next corner. He might try to do it, but he's most likely only going to give you a few bruises and scrapes if he does." Sam flashed a smile at him. "He's my bronze. And very prone to having jealous fits."
She glanced up, wondering where he was. "He must be with Love about now."

Tamahome caught up with her, turning so that she could remove the green from his shoulder. He nodded as she explained the green's behavior. He nodded again as she explained Keno, smirking at her thought of him being afraid of some guy.
He tsked at her. "Samira-chan... I am afraid of no man. Firelizards are another story, however. Those suckers can get you in your sleep." He smirked slightly.
Tamahome reached out and caressed her wrist and hand lightly. He still had goofy smirk on his face, but he didn't care. Like he had thought earlier, he felt very comfortable with Samira.

"You never know...." she stated ominously, her expression going very serious very suddenly, though her eyes held only amusement and laughter.
Her face softened as she felt his hand on hers. Smiling, she looked up at him. "You can call me Sam, you know. Almost all of my friends do. Or did." I hope you'll be more, she added to herself, a light flow of color flooding into her cheeks. Thankfully she didn't have to worry too much. Thank Faranth for tanned skin!
((Hm. I think my muse is singing as song with little rhythm in most parts.))

Tamahome laughed. "If a man did manage to sneak into my weyr, I would hear them. If not I, Jackaloth would." He smiled at Samira, seeing the laughter and amusement in her eyes.
Tamahome smirked as he heard Samira tell him he could call her Sam. He walked a little faster, coming up to her side, and wrapped his arm around her waist. He stopped her, his lips finding her ear. "What if I want to be more than a friend?" He asked in a whisper.
He was joking. Mostly. In the back of his mind, Tamahome knew he wanted to be more than Samira's friend. But did she want the same?
