IC Date: Week of Dec. 18th, 2011 IC Time: 1:32 p.m. [/u][/center] Aurora had escaped to her room, allowing Tamahome to handle things if something went wrong. She didn't expect anything to happen. The winter season usually made things around Isle calmer than the summer months. Except with the constant green flights... Which was the main reason Aurora had escaped to her room. She knew Faith would fly soon. And Aurora had been doing this for the past few days, in readiness for her green to fly. Oh, how Aurora loved the rush of the mating flights, and she encouraged Faith to fly whenever she could. Which wasn't as bad as things could be at Rocky. Faith had long ago stopped producing eggs, so they didn't have to go searching for Candidates after Faith rose. Which was a lot of hassle and stress off of her back. She was glad Faith had stopped clutching. Faizah thought it was simply the lack of Thread on Earth, but Aurora could have cared less. At that exact moment she felt Faith stir outside, where she had been napping on the beach. Aurora smiled. Faith was ready to Rise. And indeed Faith was ready to rise. Her eyes were swirling a bloody red in lust, and she dashed over to the feeding grounds. Which was most likely a comical sight to any who had seen the dragon dashing, since it was an extremely unusual movement for the winged creatures. Quickly downing a long legged and long necked creature, a Llama if any had cared to know, Faith called out to the males of the Weyr. Come, all who dare to Chase this glorious green! She roared. With her hide glowing a vibrant green, Faith launched herself into the skies. ((Sorry for it being late. My mind was fried yesterday.))

Uthekielth was wallowing in the water some distance from the shore, dozing lightly. He had no intentions on getting out until His called him from the cool, calming waters. But most such plans had a way of being disturbed.
The resting bronze heard the Rising green's call, but snorted, intending to put the call from his mind. But then he felt the challenge in his bones, knew the compulsion that called him. He raised his head from the water and gave an angry bellow before opening his wet wings and pushing himself from the ocean's caress. Seeing the Rising female, he gave no greeting or words of praise, his mind boiling with the compulsion that made him take to the skies.
He dove back into the ocean briefly, grabbing one of the smooth-skinned, chattering swimmers that were idling about. Z'ran called it a dolphin. And indeed, it looked vaguely similar to the dolphins that swam in Pernese waters. He blooded it dry, and was tempted to go for a second, but it was merely a green. And those dolphin creatures had more than enough blood in them for a green's Flight.
Z'ran's attention snapped to the sky, seeing his bronze beast fly overhead. I thought you were going to spend the whole day in the water? he queried before sensing the roiling anger that was his dragon's mind. Ah. Faith. I should have suspected.
I will tear that green apart if I'm the one who Catches her! Disturbing my peace and quiet! the bronze roared at his rider. Z'ran flinched at the volume, but knew it was Faith who was the object of such anger, not he himself. He also knew Uthekielth was just upset that he had to be pulled from the water, not the compulsion itself.

Jackaloth, relaxing in his weyr, heard the call as well. The compulsion hit him a little lighter, and he lifted his head in readiness to answer Faith's distinctive call. He took a deep breath and roared his acceptance of the challenge. But before the brown could fully unfurl his wings, he heard another compulsion. This was even stronger than the one before...
Stay in your weyr, faithless brown!
Jackaloth roared in rage, his body seemingly frozen yet shaking and fighting the compulsion. Tamahome appeared, running forward to distract and soothe his dragon.
Faith flew easily ahead of the bronze. He was bigger than her, which excited her, but he was slower and less agile than the other colors. Faith knew the stamina of a bronze, however, and thrilled at the excitement of allowing one to win her again.
Faith flipped and turned, turning circles around the larger dragon. She practically purred with pleasure before turning tail and diving for the waves. Do you dare to reach out and take me, Bronze? she taunted.
Aurora went back to the door, flinging it open and waiting for Z'ran to come. There was only one bronze at Isle, and therefor memorizing the name of said bronze was easy. In complete agreement with Faith, Aurora found this to be a good start to revenge upon Tamahome...
She smiled as she waited.

The massive bronze wasn't sure if instinct took over or if it was more of the compulsion, but after watching the smaller green circle him, he folded his wings and dove after her, angling himself slightly steeper to catch up to her sleeker form.
He vaguely heard the enraged roars of the brown Jackaloth, and would have smirked if a dragon were able to do such a motion. He was still miffed at the brown for winning Xenith...and apparently Faith was as well.
Z'ran sighed, watching the two dragons in the air, then felt the familiar waves to flightlust rush over him and started for Aurora's weyr. One good thing about the Weyr being so small, it was easy to find most anyone's weyr with minimal searching.
And the door was already open. It seemed Aurora was already expecting him.
((And muse went blah.))

Faith felt more than saw the bronze dive after her. He was catching up rather quickly, which surprised her to a degree. She did not expect a bronze to be so fast...
But the unexpected speed of the bronze simply thrilled her more. At the last possible second, Faith pulled out of the dive. Her tail skimmed the tops of the waves as she darted ahead of the glorious bronze that Chased her. She shivered in anticipation. She knew she would let the bronze have her. But he was still going to have to show himself worthy of her.
She flipped back, bringing herself behind the bronze. With another burst of speed, she flew past him. But as she was above him, she let her wings stroke his on the downstroke, and her tail trailed along his back. Then she was ahead of him again, twitching her tail temptingly.
Are you afraid to take me, Bronze? She taunted.

Uthekielth opened his wings at a slightly lower point in the dive than Faith, his belly and tail brushing the waves, his wings plunging into the soothing water with every downstroke.
This green would soon realize that he was no dragon to taunt, but out of the dive, he had no speed advantage and she would be able to outmanuever him with ease. With a growl at the green, twitching tail in front of him, he pumped his wings, rising from his low flight over the ocean. He bellowed in response to her question, pushing his wings to sweep low over the rising green.
Silly green. I fear nothing!
He was tempted to sweep her out of the sky, being the sole Chaser, but with her forced rapport, he was certain it would end very badly for him. Just as she was determined to make Jackaloth suffer for winning Xenith, she would likely be just as determined to make him suffer if he took from her the choice of when. There was no question of who, but it was always a question of when.
((Wow, I realize something at this point. Uthekielth has quite the ego. Lol.))

Aurora smiled as she noticed Z'ran outside her room. With his bronze being the only Chaser, she didn't expect any other riders to show up. She beckoned him inside with a wave of her hand.
Faith was having quite the time. Uthekielth had risen above her, and she shivered in excitement. But she was beginning to tire. Her wings were burning and she knew she wouldn't last much longer in this flight. With another flick of her tail she pulled ahead of the bronze for the last time.
Faith began a steep upward climb. She wanted to be as far among the clouds as she could be for this. when she was as high as she wanted to be, she looked back down at the larger bronze. She practically purred as she folded her wings and called out to Uthekielth.
Then take me. You have already won.
As soon as Faith had chosen, Aurora reached forward and pulled Z'ran into the room. She slammed the door shut behind him before fervently pressing a kiss to his lips.
((Sorry. Cruddy post...))
