Nuriko has light eyes and black hair that seems to turn purple in the light. He has a tendency to dye his hair purple as well.

Base Personality: Nuriko had a rather strong tendency to crossdress in his teen years, showing that he’s more in tune with his feminine side. Protective of his friends, Nuriko is more than willing to jump into a fight to defend them. Nuriko is otherwise rather peaceful.
History: Born to a poor family in a small fishing village on one of Japan's numerous islands, there was little chance for advancement for his family. Fortunately, only a few months after Nuriko was born, his family managed to gather enough money to afford a move to America.
However, they were unable to afford plane tickets, so they merely took a boat. The ship's destination was Florence, Oregon. Looking back, Nuriko was glad they stayed there. His father could continue fishing, which he loved doing, and while his mother stayed unemployed until Nuriko was in school, she then took a job with the nearby national forest.
Growing up, Nuriko spent a lot of time wandering the forests, always awed that nature could be so serene and beautiful. Until he was thirteen, he usually was with either his mother or father, but after turning thirteen, he usually went alone. He used the excursions to think, sort through anything that was bothering him.
It was during one of these little pondering walks that he realized women held no appeal for him, and that he was more like a woman than a man on the inside. When he went home later that day, he talked to his parents about it all the while fearing their reactions. To his utter relief, while they weren't exactly pleased about it, they gave him their blessing to do that which made him happiest.
It wasn't long after that before he started crossdressing, but he waited until they moved to Utah where he could make a fresh start. He was almost immediately mistaken for a woman, albeit slightly more masculine than some of the others. He crossdressed up until after he graduated, but then started to grow out of it.
He went to college for the normal four years it took to get a Bachelor's Degree, graduating from college magna cum laude. Having majored in biology, he decided to explore the Rockies to see if they held any yet unknown species, be they plant or animal.
Instead, he found something he never expected: Rocky Weyr, with dragons and other creatures, and humans who accompanied them. Fascinated, he begged the redheaded woman who came out, a massive white dragon behind her, to allow him to stay.

Base Personality: Tsumi refuses to let anyone but Nuriko even saddle her, let alone get in the saddle. A rebellious spitfire to the end, she likes to rear and kick as a challenge to any she deems unworthy of being in her presence.
