History: Born in Japan to a Japanese man and Russian woman, Yamina was a loved child. When her father died suddenly in a horrible car accident, and her mother was crippled, they left Japan and returned to her mother's home in Russia. Yamina was 15 years old at the time, and was training harshly to learn the martial arts when they left. In Russia she often went off on her own to practice her technique.
However, when rumors started floating around about dragons in America... It was needless to say that Yamina wanted to go there. She wanted a dragon. She yearned for it as much as any child. She spent many months showing off her skill at the martial arts to raise money so that she could go to America and "Impress" one of those dragons.
Just before Yamina got enough money, her mother died of a blood clot in her heart. Yamina and her grandparents buried her mother, and the next day Yamina left Russia. She was on a plane to America, where she would Impress a dragon and where she would soar above the clouds in her mother's memory.
