IC Date: Week of March 18th, 2012 IC Time: 5:00 p.m. [/u][/center] Nakia was aware that Moss had flowne not that long ago, but it was with a smile that she heard another flitter screech of lust. She looked out the entrance made for Isath, and noticed Missy had taken to the skies. She vaguely wondered what color Missy would choose this time...? Missy was already in the skies, winging over the lake and looking for something to blood. She would need the energy if she planned on flying far and fast. But something ruined her planning. Another flit, a brown, had appeared out of no where. And a fine flit he was...! Missy made an unconscious descision to fly without blooding. Besides, it wasn't like she could land to blood in the first place. Everytime she moved as if to land, the male would insert himself between her and the ground. ((This is going to be a short, but clutching, flight. The male mentioned above is a random wild flit. It has no chance of winning the flight.))

Gloriu heard the call and left J'seph's weyr swiftly and silently. It didn't take him long to find the green who's voice had lured him out away from his home. He also noticed a brown flit, who would not let the green land. How rude was that? Gloriu swooped in, grabbing the larger flit and flinging him out of the greens way.
She wanted to land, didn't he see that? Gloriu might be young but he sure as hell wasn't stupid. Apparently he wasn't weak either. The brown flit had been larger and older than he was and he'd managed to move him out of the green's way.
Gloriu moved to the greens side and called softly to her. It's okay to land now, he seemed to be telling her. He was resolute, he would stay by her side no matter what. He wanted her and he wouldn't give her up to any other flit, not without a fight.
Meanwhile, J'seph was having some very...interesting dreams.

Rune was incredibly, perfectly, completely bored.
He had no wish to sleep the day away, like HisBrownFriendDust. Nor did he dfeel in the mood to fly alone like BigCousinGreenMarith. And he was definately not in the mood to watch FriendOfLifeJ'kent wash, feed, and oil his NewHatchlingFriend. So he prowled in search of someone who did not mind him around.
His head popped up as soon as the Green's Flight call. He chirped as he launched himself up, winging his way toward the sound. Another was already there, but the blue cared not. He would fly in Chase for her.
When he saw that she had no inclination toward blooding, he decided he would follow her lead. If she did not blood, neither would he! They would be on an almost equal ground. He flew slow, wide circled around her, respectful of distance and angry at the other's presence. And ho! There was a brown he did not remember, looking angry at the presence of others and angry especially toward the one at Missy's side.

Missy creeled at the Chasers. Two blues and an unfamiliar brown. The brown did not seem happy with the first blue, however, having been attacked by him. But Missy didn't care.
She creeled back at the males, putting on some speed. She angled so that she could gain some height, and get away from the possibility of hitting the tops of the trees. But at the same time, she got an idea.
With a shriek she flew downwards, towards the trees, and started to wing her way through the obstacle course of tree limbs and birds. She called back, daring the males to follow her. And as she did, she was surprised to find out that the unfamiliar brown had dropped out of the flight, seemingly unwilling to chase her through the trees.

Gloriu was proud of himself. Unlike the brown that had seemed to him to be a nuissance to the green. He wasn't surprised that the brown did not follow Her through the maze of trees. Gloriu decided he was going to follow; he wouldn't let her out of his sight, unfortunately he did fall behind which gave other flits the opportunity to move in. He did his best to catch back up again, bobbing and weaving and twirling through the maze of limbs and other foliage and creatures; mainly birds.
He couldn't lose sight of her, he wouldn't lose sight of her. Gloriu creeled back to her, letting her know that he'd accepted her challenge, oh yes, he would follow her till she ended the flight and then hopefully she would allow him to follow her afterwards.

Rune took advantage of the other Blue's mkstake of falling behind. He was not so doltish as that. Shooting forward, he stayed close to the rising green, following her through the trees and up out of the thickest of the branches. He crooned, eyes whirling gently as he watched her and concentrated on not catching her before she was ready and not running into the trees.
He glance back only once, to discover where OtherBlueChasingMissy wasl; he was behind, but not by far. He seemed desperate to catch up.
((Sorry for the blah post!))

Missy angled up to get above the trees, tired of flying through the trees. She shot above the tree line, seeing the horizon before her. She trilled quietly, liking the view.
Missy knew she would have to choose soon. She was slowing down and her wings were starting to burn slightly. She trilled back to the males, telling them this would be their last try to win her favor. With the last reserves of her strength, Missy shot upwards, trying to gain as much height as she could.

((OK, well....)
How idiotic the other blue must have been to manage to get so far behind SkyHighMissy, Rune did not know. But he had, and that was what really mattered.
With a thrumming hum, Rune managed to copy Missy's feat and swirled into the sky after her. Like her, his wings were burning, and he was experiencing a slight shortness of breath. Not much of one, but enough of one to make him ache.
With an almost gentlemanly bow to his wings, he swooped down a little on a downdraft, but managed to right his course almost immediately. He glanced at Missy once more, wondering how much longer. Gloriu was far behind by now.

Missy did a small turn mid-air to see what males were left in the flight. She was aching, and knew she had to choose soon. But she was still surprised to find that only one of the males were left.
She mentally shook herself. Oh well. It just proved how much stronger this male was. She chirped at him, beckoning him to claim his prize, as she folded her wings and began to fall.
((Sorry for short post.))
