It not uncommon for forums to run contests... I think if a few where hosted here, we could increase activity. HoV is hosting its second adverising contest right now, and I think having one for Rocky would be a good idea, especially to gain new members. I dunno how Topaz or Faizah would want to run it, but, similar to HoV, a member could gain points for each advertisement that he/she plosted, and in the end, the member with the most points wins. For prize incentives, I'd be willing to offer animated draggies. ;3
But yeah. So like 2 points for posting an advertisement, 5 points for getting a new member to join, and say 1 for bumping an older advertisement (as per forum rules)? Just throwing some things out there.
