Appearance: Unlike his brother, David has dark hair. A dark brown, so dark its almost black, his hair is shaggy and hangs into his eyes. His eyes are a light greyish blue color, more grey than blue. Right now he is rather short for his age, and often has an angry look on his face. When he gets older, though, he will be about the same height as his brother, but more muscled.

Personality: An angry child most of the time, David has a soft spot only for animals and babies. He adores both of them. But, like any six year old boy, he is adventurous and energetic. He adores the outdoors, and can be seen playing for hours on end.
When inside is when you see the angry side of him. Angry about his parent's love for his older brother. Anger for the fact that they died when he was so young. Anger that they had left him alone. Even a little bit of anger that he had come to Rocky, despite him having agreed to it.
But he can be seen happy. Ever since little Alexandria was born, the two have been nearly inseperable. He always has a smile when he is around the baby, and he has even taken a liking to Garrisk and Virisk and the other whers of the Weyr.
History: Born and raised in Minnesota, David had a rather normal life. His parents were loving and caring, but they constantly spoke of his elder brother Garrik. They often wondered what had happened to him. And there were many a weekend when David had gone with them to the police for reports about Garrik.
From the small hints David had picked up on, his parents had told an aunt to watch over Garrik while they went to see a house for their new move. Unfortunately that aunt had died the same night, a dreadful car accident, and had never reached the boy. He had disappeared completely from them after that, though they never gave up looking for him.
It was one sad night when they had gone back to Washington, due to a report about siting someone who looked like Garrik, when things got bad. A ten car pile up, their car rolling down a hill, and the weight of the car crushing them...
David learned about their deaths the next day. When the creepy man came with the police officer and took him somewhere strange. A house, damp and musty smelling, and left him there. For a year, David stayed there. But then the man took him to the graveyard where his parents were living, to meet two women and his mysterious older brother. There was where David decided to accompany Garrik, Virika and Faizah to Rocky Weyr.
Since then he has become a little happier. He has an amazing life, and he knows it, but it doesn't stop him from missing his parents. He sometimes still has nightmares about the damp and musty house with the creepy older man. But when he wakes, he knows he isn't there anymore. And with Alexandria being around, David has become her constant companion. He never leaves her side, helping Garrisk as much as he can with the care of the weak infant.
