With a friendly group of players from all over the world, and an admin who listens to what the players want, we're an exciting and ever-evolving game. We offer an active Weyr and Hold, on-going and short-term plots, and an alternative 8th Pass to explore, where women are beginning to break free of their traditional roles. And if you're interested in dragons, we run hatchings with dragons written individually for their weyrlings-to-be. So what's going on now and in the future? Now six years old, the game is going from strength to strength! Lady Erihime has been removed as Ketrin Hold's regent by the Conclave's vote, and has been replaced by a man. How will the Hold deal with this shifting of their leadership? And how many fosterlings will the Northern Holds push onto Ketrin, exactly? If you want to get involved in intriguing Hold politics, there's never been a better time - just come and ask! We are particularly keen on finding a player for the Lord taking over from Erihime at Ketrin. What's going on at Solaria Weyr? Lord Darish has disappeared from Ver Hold, the Hold he established. His wife Arisime has called the Holders together - but what has happened to Darish? Ver is determined to find out. At Ketrin, Lord Regent Ternary is available for adoption, to new and old players alike. All we want is enthusiasm and willingness to get involved in our community! More information can be found here. At the Weyr, Femaith will be our next gold to have a played clutch. Now is a great time to join and start developing a potential candidate for the clutch! We'd especially love more male candidates. We are currently in the middle of one of our bi-annual played Threadfalls, so expect lots of injured dragons and riders! Conservative N'din has been ousted from his post as Weyrleader by his brother, L'vin. Outspokenly pro-women riders during N'din's Weyrleadership, L'vin's first move was to make Southern Cyclones a Wing open to male and female riders - while leaving its female Wingleaders in charge. Yet again, Solaria is undergoing upheaval, though this time in a liberal direction. A played Threadfall is happening soon, which is a great opportunity to play out the most dangerous element of Pernese life. Weyr and Holds are all involved, giving a chance for all characters to get some fantastic role-play. Coming up, we will be having a Healer conference, a chance for all of Pern's medics to come together and discuss their work and research. At this conference, people will be pushing to make dragon healing an official craft. If you'd like to make a potential dragon healer character, now is a great time to join!
