Tad really did not want Mentari to know how nervous he was. In fact, he had kept it hidden from everyone except the one entity he couldn't keep it from, that being Kimath.

Who really didn't get it.

The wedding plans were, to be blunt, terrifying. Of course, that was supposed to be normal for guys...and it wasn't as if he was getting cold feet. He loved Mentari, they had two wonderful children, and the relationship was clearly working.

Nah.

He was terrified he was going to, when the time came, forget his vows, drop the ring. He wasn't sure what vows they should swear. Should the dragons be in the ceremony? They'd have to do it in the bowl, he supposed, but then where would they get a priest?

He told himself that Mentari was supposed to...well, no. Faizah should take care of it. She was big sister AND she was Weyrwoman...she should be the one who handled it all. He hoped.

Little did Tad know, but Faizah had everything under control. She had already found a priest to perform the ceremony, she was working with some of the Pernese riders on the appropriate vows, and the menu was already planned and approved by Mentari. At that moment, the biggest descion the weyrling had was what tux he was going to wear at the ceremony.

And who his groomsmen were going to be...

Mentari had already chosen her dress, and a military hired tailor was making it and fitting it to the young mother and soon-to-be-wife. She hadn't yet chosen her bridesmaids, but she was working on it from what she had told Faizah. Mostly the girl was focusing on the theme of the wedding, Midevial, and she wanted to dress Ladeth and Kimath as jousting horses.

Ladeth had been measured for the outfit, and the tailor, again, was attempting to create the outfit for the green. Needless to say, Ladeth was excited for her part in the wedding. She was to carry Mentari from her weyr, where she was going to get ready, to the aisle. Then she was to take a spot behind the alter, and watch. Mentari wanted Kimath to do something simliar with the bridesmaids, but she had yet to discuss it with Tad or the blue.

All in all, Faizah believed this wedding was going to go great.

OOC: Hrm. Groomsmen. Tad doesn't have that many close friends.

Tad, finally, shook his head and went to get some coffee. Some of the Pernese people had brought their own bark-based drink, klah, but he was unable to acquire the taste for it.

Likely they felt the same way about coffee. One had to grow up with these things, the blue weyrling reckoned. Fortunately, he hadn't heard about putting barding on the dragons.

Yet. No doubt that would come. Medieval theme was a good idea, though, and not something he had chosen to...oh, what the heck. One did not argue with women, especially mothers or older sisters, about weddings.

OOC: Neither does Mentari. But we only need one groomsman. Maybe Llonatan could step in and do it?

If Tad had only asked, he would have known that Mentari chose the Medieval theme for one reason. It was the first conversation the two of them had, about dressing the flits in horse jousting outfits. Mentari thought it was a fitting theme, and Faizah could only agree with her.
