Appearance: Light complexion, though not pale. Hazel eyes that are a light brown around the iris and on the outer part is a light green. 6'2'' and rather lean in a muscular way. Darkish brown hair that is straight when short but kinda wavy when longish (he prefers to wear it one or two inches long). Long delicate fingers with nails a woman could be jealous of. He slouches a little and sometimes looks stoned (but isn't of course). And only gives piggie-back rides when drunk (a jerk, i know).
He is very sociable and always wears a silver chain necklace. He likes to wear shorts and a t-shirt whenever possible but looks smokin' in a dress shirt and khakis. He knows how to have a good time but is also very considerate of the feelings of others. He is the kinda guy you would be willing to spill your guts to and he listens patiently and with understanding when you do. He usually has a smile on his face and a joke up his sleeve. But sometimes he goes off to be alone with his thoughts and his Dragon. He is extremely intelligent and modest.

History: A Pern boy born and raised, Dan always thought he would be a Harper. He was excited for it too. His trusty Brown firelizard that he had had for a half a year now would make his days as a harper more enjoyable due to flitters' famed ability to sing with the voice of angels. But on the day he was to travel to harper hall, a dragon literally swooped in and changed his path. He was a candidate at High Reaches and impressed a sharp Blue.
Dan felt the first twinge of apprehension immediately after the hatching. but he simply thought it was nerves. Or maybe all dragonettes stopped talking in the middle of their sentences to try climbing the walls? It soon became evident that His Blue was different from the rest though. When when he was only two weeks old, he told His, Mine, i am bored. I am going to fly tomorrow. Maybe then i will not feel so itchy in my limbs. Thinking he was joking, Dan just brushed it off and went to bed. The next morning, Streeth was found two miles away in a field with a fractured hind foot.
But there were also smaller, unnoticed things that he did. His tail was always twitching, he would stare off into space for prolonged periods of time, he always wanted to DO something. He excelled at things he enjoyed and did poorly in the things that were 'boring as drying paint'. Finally, when Streeth forgot a lesson because he was seeing how long he could hold his breath underwater, Daniel took him to a healer. But the healer happened to have a Terian doctor with him on an exchange program. As Dan listed off the dragon's problems the doctor seemed to look more and more thoughtful as the healer looked more and more confused.
When the weyrling had finished, the healer said he would need to confer with some others because he had never heard anything like that happening to a dragon. But the Doctor took him aside and they conferred for a long while. Finally, they turned back to the worried teen and the healer explained that the doctor believed he knew what the trouble was. On Earth it was called ADHD. Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder. but he couldn't be sure since it was thought to be a human thing. They decided to wait a span before jumping to conclusions. The doctor prescribed some home remedies for the dragon. LOTS of exercise every day and positive reinforcement of good behavior.
But just a month later, Streeth's mental state took a turn for the worse. Now instead of fidgeting, he had to pace. When daydreaming, nobody but Dan could shake him back to the real world. He started becoming frustrated due to his inability to move as much as he needed. this went on for some time and made learning and living nigh on impossible. Once they were able to fly it got a little better, but the dragon kept darting ahead and practiced acrobatics on a whim. he was a hazard to his wing, his rider, and himself. In an effort to find a remedy safely and out of threat of threadfall, Daniel and Streeth were sent to Rocky Weyr.
Now they search for a way to help the wayward Blue control himself again. In a more relaxed and friendly environment things have been going more easily so it may be possible. More possible than ever could be back home.
