Appearance: Tall and slim, with skin burned to a light brown. Her eyes are bright, soft brown. Her hair is waist-long and the same color as her eyes. At times she has a rebellious, ambitious look about her. She has sharp features. Usually she has a look of curiousity and nicety on her face. Her strength is hidden usually, but when not you can see wiry muscles flexing with the work given to her. Even with them, she is slim.

History: Lyrah was born into a very poor farming hold on Pern, the youngest in a larger family. Her mother died birthing her, and her father usually shunned her. Her oldest brother, Nathin, was the only one who ever truly payed much attention to her. Her other brother and sister, Linti and Neeni, who are twins, treated her like little more than their personal servant. She helped like any other child her age would, and assisted with the planting and harvesting each year once she was old enough. Nathin married when she was nine years old and moved into his own small apartment with his wife Emera. With him gone, the others treated her even worse.
She begged her father to foster her and send her away, and at 11 he finally did. She left to Fort Weyr, where she was turned fosterling to a cook. She kept in touch with Nathin, sending messages at intervals, and recieving some back. She learned of her siblings success and her father's demise, and of course, Nathin's own small branch of the family. When she was not messaging, she worked.
Once she laid eyes on the dragons and flits, she was often caught hiding where she could watch them come and go. She spent years like this, until she was 16. She had been as obiedient as she could be to the riders and weyrlings, in hope that they might let her have a chance to impress her own dragon and/or flit.
She had her chance of course, and Impressed Kyrinth in her first Hatching.
Brown Kyrinth (DoB: Feb. 2010; color: #954a28) - Brown Kyrinth was hatched a normal brown, and would have remained on Pern if it hadn't been for the fatal and mysterious fever he contracted about two or three months after his hatching. The Pernese healers and dragons couldn't understand what had happened, comparing the symptoms to firehead, but the strange fever didn't respond to any treatment. As a final resort the young brown was sent to Rocky in hopes of their advanced medical knowledge would be able to save the dragonette. Rocky was successful, finding that the fever was caused due to a heavy infection in the brain. However, after treatment, Kyrinth had lost all sight in his left eye, and more than eighty percent of sight in the right eye.
All in all Kyrinth is a very happy dragon, and determined to be treated as a normal dragonette. He refuses to allow any pity nor will he allow anyone to take things easy on him. He demands to be given the same responsibilities as the non-blind dragons, and will throw a massive fit if he does not get his way.
White Snowfire (DoB: Aug, 2009; color: #d1d1f0) - Snowfire is an interesting flitter. Smaller than most, which is expected from his color, he is a hypercondriact. The little thing could get a small scratch and he acts as if he is dying. The Weyrwoman back at Fort believed that it was due to Lyrah's demanding duties and resulting little attention to the flitter that made him want all the attention he could get. Snowfire loves to be right in the way of Lyrah or one of the queens when his behavior is at its worst. He loves to be comforted and crooned at by the high ranking flitters.
