So, I've recently accepted a few profiles without giving personalities to the dragons or flits.
For one, I don't have all that much muse to be putting into so many creatures, and Faizah seems to be on just as much as I am now a days.
Secondly, I feel like you all are capable enough to develop your characters the way you want them. You can of course request a personality from one of us if you really like the ones we make. However I'm predicting this will be only a minority of you, since it's often much easier to have the personality reveal itself organically through roleplay.
Also, as long as your profile is in order, it will be accepted immediately if you don't need us to make personalities. Otherwise, you'd need to wait until one of us can make something up for you. And, it's not like we even require personalities on our profiles so I was always kind of confused as to why we gave out personalities before a profile was accepted.
So, I guess I just want everyone's opinions on this, especially Faizah. -pokes- :3

I don't really care. When it comes to dragons, and weyrlings in this case, I would prefer to create personalities on my own... Just so that none end up too similar. Like Brynath and Elon both are tolerant of others when it comes to their defect. But anyway, I'd let the player pick the personality for weyrlings. For hatchings, I'd prefer if the admins did that. (Unless that's not what you're asking, and in that case ignore his!)

Oh, yes. For hatchings of dragons, whers, or flits, we will be giving you the personalities, definitely. :3

I love making personalities, but they never seem quite accurate. Like...Skirth is supposed to be kind of a wiseass, but he's more like a puppy right now,. And Hal is supposed to be this distant, dreamy thing, but he's developed the epic wiseassery.
SO. Yeah. I like what you've been doing, but it's also nice to have the option of doing our own?

Considering the weyrlings are still young, you still have plenty of time to morph their personalities. And if we gave you a personality, or you wrote one on your profile, you don't need to go by it strictly. I personally like it when the characters develop on their own traits organically. :3

I always liked someone to give me a basic personality so I would have something to go by, otherwise all my charries end up the same. That's why I did that. The personalities weren't meant to be strictly like that, there was supposed to be room to add and adapt. Sorry if that wasn't apparent. ^-^''

Nah, that's what I took it as, Faizah. Something like as hatching. You were just giving us the basic traits in paragraph form. And yes, I'm not a fan of writing personalities since I do prefer to let it develop naturally through roleplaying... Hence why so many of my characters don't follow their original traits after a couple of months with them.

Nice. Mine would literally all be the same if I didn't specify personality and all. I have a bad habit of that.

I'd rather make my own, thanks.
It's easier to do and get used to. It might even help us with names and all.
