History: Caevaniara was born on Christmas Day on earth, possibly one of the first children born at the Weyr, a first generation Rocky Weyrbrat. Her father died on Pern before he could see her, leaving the child in her mother's care. Currently, under the watchful eye of her cat, the young child is quite happy to play in the infirmary and follow her mother.

Appearance: This feline sports long silky fur that is easy to manage. Her fur will hardly ever mat or tangle no matter how little attention is paid to it. The reason for this disinclination to mat is the feline's own preoccupation with her coat staying flawless. She washes often, and thoroughly enjoys a good brushing. Her tawny brown base coat is highlighted with deep black tabby markings that are near perfect in symmetry. Tufts of the same stunning black hair jut off her ears giving her a wild appearance that is only intensified by her large amber eyes.

Personality: This feline has a disposition that is totally at odds with her wild appearance. In fact this female exudes an air of patience one finds miraculous for a cat. She often allows children to grabs clumps of her hair, tote her around, and generally manhandle her with nary a complaint. To those children she is very much the mother figure staying close and protecting them from anything she deems dangerous. During the day she is content to bask in any attention they are willing to give her as she naps and lazes about. At night she becomes an active guardian watching over the children as they sleep like a silent sentinel. Anything she perceives as a threat will be viciously, yet silently, attacked with both teeth and claw. Protective yet sweet she makes a puuurfect nanny. One who will never shirk her duties no matter how old she gets.
