Tamahome nodded. "With a brown bronze mix, though, it would be interesting. In the best case scenario the chimera would have the speed of the brown, but the stamina of the bronze. In a gold flight, those attributes would be unparrelled."
Golds didn't choose only the biggest bronzes. They tended to choose the dragon of the rider their rider fancied. That aside, each gold had her own likes and dislikes.

"Depends on the gold," Tatsuya mused. "Some of them might not want to be flown by a chimera." Especially if the gold's rider wasn't too keen on odd dragons, which some people around here weren't.
"They don't just choose the strongest...they're too smart to be that pure on instinct. I do wonder if a clutch sired by a bronze-brown would have more chimeras in it, though." He tried to think what he knew about female chimeras - didn't Rocky have a green-gold mix who had clutched at least once? But it might be different with the males.

Tamahome nodded, agreeing with both sentiments. "Nakia's Isath, the green gold at Rocky, mothered a few chimeras. The sire was a blue green mix, too, which might have helped. But chimeraism is a hard science to understand." He said.
He supposed it would depend on if the reproductive cycle had been effected by the chimerism. It was possible that it wasn't. But it was also possible that it was, like in brindle colored dogs...
