I was cleaning out some old files on my computer and I stumbled across my roleplay folder that I haven't really touched in a year or two, right? Not since I fell out of roleplaying due to some pretty bad situations with an ex, but... I found some old posts of mine that I had saved for some reason, and felt the need it check out this forum again.

The CSS is all gone, it looks like! Proboards did some kind of update, I assume. The cbox is gone too, I think? That's a shame, guess that's why I'm posting this thread!

It is 3 am on a weekend, I'm in a Mumble channel with a friend, and we're talking about Tony Hawk games, and maybe I'm getting a little touchy here, but, I did miss this place, a whole lot. I don't know who'll see this thread, but maybe someone will come back to it and get some nice fuzzy feelings! :

I miss the characters here, and I miss the people, and I miss the antics, and the plottage, and the threads. I'm not gonna cry (I hope!) and I'm not going to say what I wish happened or what I regret, just a silly little thread saying everyone here is great, wonderful, and so much fun to interact with. Maybe I'll pick up roleplaying again in the future, maybe I won't. Maybe Rocky will come back, maybe not, who knows! Whatever happens, I want you all to know that you're all very special, awesome, epic beings and I hope everyone is doing well.

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one who still comes and looks around. Nor the only one who misses the people and the fun. I'm glad someone other than myself put it in words. You may not have cried, but I certainly did!

But I do have plans of recreating Rocky. Probably not here, because Proboards has done a complete update. But rest assured that Rocky is not over yet. Not as long as I'm around! I've been studying coding and writing so that I can become a proper Admin. And I'm researching new ways of advertising and whatnot, that way Rocky will be less likely to die in the future. But believe you me, I miss it too Phaz.

If you ever do bring it back, shoot me an email (I'll double check to make sure the one linked to this account is updated), and I'll see how I feel about getting back into roleplaying.

I'm glad that someone else still checks out this place, though. There were a lot of good memories here, and while it's heartbreaking to see it just... end and die off like it did, at least we had a good time while it lasted!

Phazzy, you seriously just made my day. With both posts. You can't imagine how happy it makes me to read that you're possibly interested in coming back. My life is a little turbulent right now, but once everything calms down I am most assuredly getting Rocky back up and functioning. My fiancé has been teaching me DMing styles and duties, so I'm kind of in Admin training. I just hope the new and improved Rocky will be able to live up to the expectations this Rocky had, and still has.

:'3 I'm glad I could make your day! My life isn't all that great right now either, but I've just been really missing these characters I left here. They're sitting in limbo, twiddling their thumbs, and waiting for the day when they can have some fun again. That being said, my expectations are that we'll have lots of fun once again, that's that's about it. As long as fun happens, I'm happy!

It sounds like you've got a lot of stuff going on though, and you've been hard at work with it--I'm sure you'll be able to make Rocky even more awesome than it is!
