After reading the amusing conversation about trying to figure out how Hy'ka is pronounced (and wondering how it came about), I figured this would be an interesting topic to have and read. So, care to share the pronunciation of your characters, other member's characters, usernames, etc. Ku'rt = Kuh-ert Aricoth = Are-eh-cawth Luna = Loo-nuh Hy'ka = Hai-kuh Brynath = Bry-nath (kinda simple...) Kivral = Kivv-rawl Rafael Werden = Raff-fay-el Vurr-den Lawrence Huntington = Lahwr-rense Huhnt-ing-tun Elonverrilth = El-on-veyr-rylth Boomerang = Boom-er-rang (/stops thinking) Z'volm = Zuh-vohlm Crucith = Crew-sith PhazonDragon = Fae-zon-drah-gun Phazzy = Fa (a as in apple)-zee H'vas = Huh-vas Cherath = Cherr-ath Faizah = Fai-zuh Surth = Sir-th Kain = Cane Gorth = Gore-th I'd do more, but I'm feeling lazy

Cherr as in cherry. So basically the same as chair-ath.
I'm not saying what I have is right, and I'm not saying you need to correct me.. I'm just asking for members to share...

Cool! :D
I would have thought Hy'ka would be Hai-kah. If I read it, I just can't pronounce it any differently. xD -shrug-
My characters are as follows.. Kiana - (Key-a-na) Caleth - (K/Cal-eth) ..duh xD Moe - (Mo) ..further duh
Logan - (Low-ghan) ..ghan as in 'can' with a 'g', yuh? ^-^; ..or if 'gan' just makes more sense, I dunno. :d Odiketh - (Oh-dee-keth) Uffizi - (Oo-feet-zee)
L'gar - (Luh-gar) As with all shortened names, try and blur the syllables as much as possible. Zedoreth - (Zed-or-eth)
Not much mystery in any of my characters names, eh? xD
