From the outside, this looks like any typical weyr at Rocky. Upon swinging open the door, you are greeted by an odd sight. The Earthian bed, dresser, and other set pieces are in their usual spot. However, the rest of the weyr is strictly Pernese. There is no technology at all in the room, not even a phone. With his arrival, and picking out a weyr, Ku'rt requested that all unnecessary Earthian things be removed. This included any sort of entertainment or electronics. In the dresser, tunics of various colors rest, all from Ku'rt's former weyr at Telgar. On the desk, a couple of scrolls sit, rolled up still and hardly moved since arriving.
The walls are decorated with tapestries from Ku'rt's room back at Telgar. For the most part they are on the small side, ranging from one foot to a couple of feet both lengthwise and heightwise. These were hard to come by, since a weyrling doesn't make many marks. Though small, they each cost a tidy sum of marks, which Ku'rt had to scrounge and save up for. Each one is similar in that it depicts dragons in various colors, in various poses. His favorite one, and his first, is one with all five colors flaming thread in the sky.
Not wanting to lose his roots of Pernese descent, Ku'rt made it a point of keeping the walls as original as possible, save for the tapestries. Past the few wall decorations, one can see the stone wall beneath. Ku'rt even requested for a glowbasket to be added. With the help of a bluerider friend from Telgar, Ku'rt was able to obtain one. It now sits at the junction of his room and Aricoth's, though Aricoth hardly needs the light.
The only other Earthian object in the weyr would be the specially made curtains that hang over the outside entrance to Aricoth's room and the archway between the two rooms. These Ku'rt kept due to them being made to block out the elements. That, and Aricoth requested that they stayed. Though their weyr is on the ground level, to help the blind blue, and they wouldn't recieve as drastic weather as higher altitudes, the curtains provide added comfort.
As promised, Aricoth's side is as simple as can be. The only thing in the room is the blue's bed. The simplicity of the room makes it possible for the blind dragon to walk around wihout fear of bumping into something and possibly injuring himself.
