H'vas was sitting in his Weyr. He had been looking around on the net for a new source of music. He was surprised when he heard Cherath bellowing outside. He suddenly froze. He ran out to the edge of his Weyr, spotting his green glowing like the emerald she was. He was hit with the urge to sate the heat growing within him.
"No! No!"
Cherath had pounced on a fat cow and aimed for the beast's gut, desperate to rend and devour the entrails.
"Don't! You'll be slowed down and you know it! BLOOD ONLY!"
"I MUST EAT! THE WARMTH OF THE BLOOD IS NOT ENOUGH!"
H'vas forced his will on his lovely green. He knew she'd only blood once before taking to the skies. Even Dart was disturbed by the Green's emotions. The emerald hued dragon sucked the blood eagerly from the throat of the downed cow. She looked from side to side, her eyes whirling a fierce red.
"Catch me if you dare, Bronzes, Browns, or Blues!"
Cherath shot up into the sky like a glittering rocket.

Gorth was sunning when he heard a lustful bellow. Within a moment he was in the sky, then at the feeding grounds where he found the shining emerald whom had called out. Green Cherath was Rising! He would chase her, and he would catch her, he decided right then.
Gorth joined Cherath in blooding, but where she only blooded once he blooded three prime bulls. He would need the hot and energy restoring blood more than any of the other Chasers. He watched as she launched herself into the sky, calling her challenge out for all to hear.
"Catch me if you dare, Bronzes, Browns, or Blues!"
Gorth launched himself into the sky after her. He wasn't far behind her, but he didn't want to over exert himself before the real chase began. As they flew Gorth had a sudden idea. Perhaps he could whoo her as hisKain did...
"Green Cherath! Look at how you shine in the sunlight! You glean in the light like a polished emerald! And I, Bronze Gorth, chase today your emerald shining perfection!"
Kain was mulling over some papers in his weyr when he felt a rise of lust, immediately followed by the intense and undeniable demand to sate it. With a few muttered curses Kain ran to the window in Gorth's portion of the weyr, staring into the sky with disdain.
"Of course he decides to Chase today!" Kain muttered to himself. There was no way he'd be able to get his work done now. Gorth and his chasing of the silly green, Cherath, had made sure of that!

Ari had been working on fixing one of her belts when something made her skin crawl- and not in an entirely unpleasant fashion. Her eyes went wide, and she groaned quietly as she felt the big brown dragon's emotion's flood through her. " 'Couth...oh, no." The girl feel to her knees at the first wave of feelings, and she dragged herself to her feet and threw the belt down with far more force than was necessary, feeding off the Brown's sudden surge of hunger. This was...not how she'd expected her day to go! Proddy greens...buggerrey hell, how had she missed the signs?
Dracouth had been sunning in his own weyr when the shriek of a green made him lift his head. His eyes scanned the ground below as if bored, but when he caught sight of the shimmering hide of Cherath he let out a predatory rumble of excitement. Without warning, he leapt from the ledge into the open air, dropping like a stone to the feeding grounds to quickly ravage a bull and blood it, following it up with a pair of heavy-horned goats.
The sight of the brilliant green was enough to give him no hesitation as he growled competitively at Gorth, smugly finding the bronze nowhere near his skill in flight. When Cherath rose to the skies, he was after her like a rocket. Heavy wingbeats kept him close to her, though never near enough to touch. His booming message rang out to her, full of confidence and pride. Beauty of a green, you would try to hide yourself in the skies? Do not be foolish! Dracouth answers your dare, flighty Cherath!
The tiger-striped brown was startled by the near silent arrival of a thin deep-hued blue that rose next to him almost tauntingly. Despite the obvious potential drawbacks to attempting to Chase in his state, nature could not be changed. Noxceventh had been feeding anyway, but he'd just made his kill when Cherath landed. One careful test of the air and he could nearly taste the flight-heat rolling off the green. So the blue also blooded his kill, his one good eye keeping careful tabs on the rival males who arrived. Noxceventh had let them pass, and the elder blue had risen after the brash green like an owl after his prey; silent and swift.
Browns are heavy and slow, and Bronzes no exception. Noxceventh taunted, with a subtle tone to his mindvoice like the silence of a forest when a predator stalks through. He shifted his weight to one side, slipping through the air to roll up along the brown's other side. Even with a permanently handicapped wing and one eye, the older blue was confident in his abilities, and he demonstrated by slipping forward and down, flipping a carefuly circle before he ended up benath and below the green.
Cherath, your body glows like the light through a lake; beware, oh glorious one, the danger of the waters deep below!I, Noxceventh shall be waiting for you there.
Back in the Weyr proper, Rainer stopped instinctively when he heard the call of the green. Noxceventh's lust flooded him, and not a little bit of his smug sense of superiority. Smiling wickedly, the silvery-haired rider closed his eyes and let his dragon's vision fill his mind. Outside his flight-narrowed mind, he began to move again, familiar enough with the flightlust to have the presence of mind to head for the greenrider's quarters.
This was very likely going to be fun, he decided. And why not? Noxceventh was chasing. There was no way around that, so he figured he may as well enjoy the experience.

Gruulath froze, he had already been jogging down to the feeding ground when he heard the lustful bellow of a green. Growling, the Brown picked up his pace and stretched oped his wings. Lifting of the ground, Gruulath made it to the feeding ground quickly and spotted two good looking heardbeasts or cows as they were called here. He bloodied them quickly for time was precious.
The Green shot into the sky before Gruulath was finished, and he broke off his actions and leapt into the sky to follow her. His movements started out shaky, but he quickly fell into an instinctive rhythm. Making sure Cherath was always on his good side, Gruulath simply chased in a hard and fast manner. Let the others waste their energy on useless acrobatics, he would only follow in the most practical manner. Swooping close enough to slide between one of his competitors and the beautiful Green, Gruulath hardened his resolve.
Cherath, you are truly magnificent. I will catch you.
T'sai stumbled as he jogged, lust and desire making his step unsteady. Of course his Brown would fly for the first time during a Flight. Trying not to stumble to badly as Gruulath's lust washed over him for the first time. This may have been his and Gruulath's first experience at a Flight, but T'sai was pretty confident he should head towards the Green's rider's quarters.

H'vas was completely enthralled in his Green's lust. He whined and moaned, wishing that a certain someone could be part of this Flight.
"Hy'ka...Nnnn.."
H'vas knew that Brynath was too young, so he'd have to settle for one of the other men or women involved in this Chase. His hands gripped the side of his doorway, sweat dribbling down his body despite the cold weather. His usually well groomed hair was soon pasted to his scalp with the heat of his body.
Cherath took a good look at her suitors. She was impressed with herself for drawing the attention of Bronze Gorth. She snapped her wings to her side and dove through the crowd of dragons before she got too high to trigger her phobia. She pushed her wings open in the center of the dragon-throng. Cherath bugled and flew to the side, trying to confuse her suitors.
"Fly, Fly, as fast as you can, You can't catch me that early, men!"

Gorth tilted his wings slightly to avoid a collision with Cherath, but kept his position near her. He wasn't about to let any of the other males catch her. If they wanted her, Cherath would have to choose them over he. Even as Gorth made this decree to himself he noticed a blue that was doing many acrobatics. Gorth decided that any male who came close enough would meet his fangs. And he was true to his word. Any dragon that flew too close to Gorth was snapped at.
You shall be mine, Glorious Cherath! For I shall not allow any other male to catch you but I! Gorth broadcasted to Cherath, and the other suitors. Gorth knew that only he deserved this emerald that flew today.

Noxceventh hissed as Gorth began edging off the green's other suitors with his teeth. Bronze one, you would try to force us away? I would hardly call that good form. He said snidely as he sped up and darted away from the bigger dragon. But no matter. He'd said it once, he'd say it again, the bronzes were big and bulky, and hardly a match for the agility and swiftness of a blue.
He kept after Cherath with what appeared to be little effort, but he was thrilled by the effort it took to chase her. It had been far too long, in his opinion. He banked to the side and slid downwards as she dove through the pack, keeping on her tail despite Gorth's threats. It would be no effort to avoid the snapping jaws, and to stay by the beautiful green would be reward enough to risk it. Cherath, you may taunt us all you like. But ithall be I to follow you untill I cannot fly any longer. Most lovely of the greens, fly like the wind! It shall not deter me!
Rainer panted softly as he reached where he instinctively knew the greenrider was, and looked around almost feverishly before catching sight of the man. It looked like the man was just as affected by the flightlust as he, and Rainer didn't hesitate to shoot the young man a feral smile that was oddly matched by his blue's thin panting grin as he chased.
He was tall, somewhat on the more slender side, and damn, if he didn't look good. Beads of perspiration accentuated the greenrider's body in a way that made Rainer bite his lip to stop himself from jumping at him. Rainer himself could appreciate the lack of clothing, though as his own temperature was rising. He'd shed his jacket, and his udershirt was clinging to his body in the heat. He took a step closer, hissing wordlessly before boldly reaching out to run his hand along H'vas' arm.
Dracouth growled a playful challenge to the taunts of the green, and glanced out of the corner of his eye as another brown edged between him and Cherath. A one-eyed creature, then? Hardly a match for his might. He let loose a competitive rumble and sped forward, only barely pulling back as the emerald streak changed course and shouted her latest tease. It was hard, but he pulled heavily on one wing, shifting his path to follow.
No bronze was going to scare him off, and he bared his teeth in Gorth's direction. Still, he stayed back from the bigger dragon's jaws, and instead settled on outlasting the heavy bronze. Beauty of the skies! It will be me who will follow your emerald light!
Arianne yipped softly as she collided with a railing, hardly paying attention as she blindly staggered to where she knew the greenrider had to be waiting. As Dracouth challenged the others around him, she herself was found baring her teeth in a snarl at one of the other weyrlings as she stumbled past. (Something she would try to apologize later for, should she even remember who it was.)
She wrapped her arms about her middle defensively, trying to resist the urge to charge the silvery-haired man by the tall greenrider. She stayed back, just a little, breathing heavily and never taking her eyes from the greenrider's body. She stumbled forward again, and pressed herself back against the wall to wait, making soft purr-like moans as sensations flooded her body.

Gruulath banked as he heard another Brown issue a competitive rumble. It didn't faze him. He was determined to catch this swift prize. While the others concentrated on their competition and aerial maneuvers, Gruulath stared intently at the Green's minor adjustive movements. For once his disability was coming in handy. His half blindness made him more sensitive to minor adjustments on his blind side. He was able to see the Green tense and shift the position of her body in a turn.
Unfortunatly, he was unable to act as quickly on that incite as he would have liked because as he banked hard to keep up with the agile female, the other Brown almost missed his turn and cut off Gruulath.
Snarling in frustration, Gruulath flipped and slid under the turning Brown and drew up besides the cocky Blue, avoiding the Bronzes snapping jaws with a fierce growl. The Bronze could outrank him all it liked. Gruulath would have the Green.
T'sai saw his magnificent Brown's Chase of the equally beautiful Green. Thoughts of total focus and desire invaded T'sai's mind and removed all other thoughts, but one. T'sai had to make it to the Green rider's weyr, now.
Fast and focused, T'sai moved in much the same manner as Gruulath. Upon reaching his destination, T'sai couldn't help but freeze. A shiver of pure desire ripped through him at the sight before him. H'vas glowing as his Green did, stood in the doorway leaning against the frame. Sweat trickled down the sharp contours of his body, fueling T'sai's need to new heights.
T'sai than noticed another man near the Green rider, and a female Brown rider not to far away either.
Growling low in his throat at the same moment Gruulath did. T'sai attempted to advance. Pausing at the Blue rider's side, T'sai gazed intently at H'vas. Slowly, and with caution, T'sai reached up the impossible height to stroke H'vas's hair. He was tempted to fist the silky strands in his fingers, but restrained. He would have the rider in good time. There was no need to rush things to much.
Oh, but T'sai did wish Gruulath would hurry. He needed to satiate this burning desire.

H'vas whined and recoiled away from the advancing hands and bodies. He felt the need of his Green, but oh how he wished for Hy'ka. His eyes wandered the bodies of Rainer and T'sai, but froze on Arianne. He didn't understand, what was she doing here? She must either be the bluerider or...No. She rode a brown. He remembered now. He retreated into his weyr with a dark chuckle. He purred huskily at the three people surrounding him.
"Such a hard choice..."
He hissed suddenly as his Green did.
Cherath screeched at the Bronze and dove at him, claws extended.
"You. Bronze. LEAVE. I care not for your violence in my glorious moment."
She rose into the air again above her suitors, spiraling to the side and under her Chasers. She trilled and shot up through the middle of them. Her eyes whirled a violent red, brushing her wing tips against the remaining suitors.

((He is going to be stubborn.))
Gorth simply swept himself to the back of the chasers. He was too stubborn and Gorth had decided that he would chase until the end. Besides, he'd rather lay low for a few moments and take his chances than to simply fly off and quit. The prize was far too glorious for that.
Kain suddenly found himself stumbling down a hallway he barely recognized, searching for the Green Rider's room. When he did find it he saw others were there as well, which was no real surprise. Kain took a stand next to the doorway, leaning against the wall as he waited. Now it would simply be a waiting game. A torturous, agonizing, waiting game...

Noxceventh executed an elegant and well-timed barrel roll to dodge the greens fury as she chastized the bronze. His gaze never left Cherath's luminous hide, and he tracked her carefully as she dove under and around them. Smugly, he shot straight up after the green when she rose again, keeping close by her. The touch of her wing along his chest made his eyes swirl like a whirlpool with lusty violet and exalted blue, and he put forth even more effort into his powerful wingstrokes. The torn and mangled wing burned with exertion, but he refused to acknowledge the pain.
My beauty has a bite to her! She is brave, to chase a bronze like she does. But so strong, so sleek! Cherath, my body aches only for you!
Rainer smiled at the open door, and followed the greenrider as he retreated. He managed to avoid anything too presumptuous, but it was almost impossible to resist caressing the side of the greenrider's face once more. H'vas was gorgeous, and the flightlust burned away any inhibitions Rainer might have had previously. So he just let his fingers trail down H'vas' neck gently, waiting for Cherath to choose.
Dracouth jerked away as the glamourous greenlashed out at the bronze, and his surprise made him drop back a few meters. He growled in annoyance that he'd ended up so far behind, and poured his energy into gaining altitude; the smaller colors were faster, perhaps, but this big brown had all of his strength to put into his wings, and he surge upwards. Cherath's wing grazed the side of his neck as she shot past, and he rumbled in pleasure at the mere touch. The green would be his; there was no other option.
Ari locked her eyes onto Kain as he appeared, her fevered mind confused and desperate. She was the only female rider her so far. How unfortunate. She inched forwards, keeping her distance from the tall greenrider, but she couldn't resist the temptation to touch him. Her hand brushed his shoulder as she reached for him, his skin hot to the touch.

Gruulath flipped mid-air and stayed as close to the Green as he possibly could. The Blue was his main worry. The other Brown seemed to have fallen back some, but the Blue was persistent. Desperately executing any maneuver that would bring him closer to his prize, Gruulath let the Green fall into his blind spot.
At first, worry and fear rushed through Gruulath at the thought of loosing Cherath, but then her wing brushed sensually across his shoulder. Gruulath's eyes whirled with such strong lust as he corrected his course and began his frantic Chase once more. His wings ached from overuse after such a long period of time, but nothing could persuade the Brown out of the sky, not now, not when he felt so close.
T'sai tailed H'vas into his quarters. The husky purr H'vas let out made his blood boil, and his desire grow more feral. Why didn't Gruulath hurry? T'sai didn't think he could wait. Even when the Chase dwindled down to the agonizing 'final lap', T'sai couldn't help but feel as if the wait was almost to long to bear.
Reaching out once more for the soft supple flesh of H'vas, T'sai ran his fingertips down the length of one of H'vas's legs. Legs had always been the best feature on a male in T'sai's opinion, and H'vas had really fine legs. H'vas's flesh was hot and flushed under T'sai's fingertips, and the young male Brown rider could barely hold himself back.

H'vas cooed from the multiple touches he received. He groaned when he felt T'sai's fingertips on the inside of his leg. He tossed his head, shaking his ebony locks from his face. His sharp green eyes were hazy with the lust from his dragon. His hands reached out to the nearest person, panting heavily.
"Come closer my dear..."
He rain his fingers through Rainer's hair and whined softly. He pulled the man closer and pressed himself against his body.
Cherath bugled and rose high into the air. She closed her eyes so she couldn't see how high she was. She thought through each suitor that had chased her so diligently. She trilled as she made her choice.
"Blue Noxceventh! Surge forth and catch me! Don't let me fall!"
H'vas panted softly in Rainer's ear, nibbling it gently. He could feel the heat building up even more within his body.
"Rainer. Take me...You have been chosen."

Rainer instinctively wrapped his arms around H'vas' shoulders, pulling the tall rider to him even closer than before.
Noxceventh's eye shone with pure exhilaration and he used the last of his strength to shoot upwards to grab Cherath. She had closed her eyes and he surge to catch her before she fell. And catch you I have, Beautiful Cherath. Do not worry; you shall not fall whilst I hold you. Noxceventh had won; he snarled a warning to the other males, warning them away as he claimed Cherath as his own that flight. He clung to her posessively, his tail twining with hers, his claws tigthening carefully to hold her to him. He rested his cheek against hers, crooning softly and gently; she may fear the heights, but he would not allow fear in her flight today.
Rainer's eyes widened as he felt Noxceventh's victory. And H'vas's breathy whisper at his ear. He only paused to snarl and level a glare at the other riders that would easily clear the room before he lifted his head and pressed his lips to H'vas'. "As you wish."
~~~~ As the thin blue claimed his victory, Dracouth bellowed a disappointed roar and dropped back, easily circling back to the ground. He dove toward the lake, the cold water cooling his heated hide. Still; there was always the next time.
Ari gasped as Dracouth hit the icy water; it affected her much the same as it had him. Her vision cleared, and she instantly went deathly pale. Without another word, she turned and bolted from the greenrider's quarters, leaving even before the bluerider who'd won could react to the other riders' presences.
