~This is a Clutching Flight as well as a Maiden Flight. Good Luck!~
Gregory was lying on his back in the infirmary. He had been slipping in and out of a doze for the last half hour and was aching to just fall asleep already.
Suddenly, the Green rider was struck with an ache of a very different nature. There was a roiling feeling in Gregory's gut and his skin felt hot and sensitive.
"What's going on? Jadavath?"
Outside Jadavath was glowing and her eyes were whirling with a newly discovered lust. The Green lifted her head and shrieked out a high pitched bellow. Gregory closed his eyes tightly at the sound.
"This can't be happening. Not here. Not now."
Jadavath lunged for a large bovine and felled it. She lifted her head and let out another wild call before lowering her head to feast on the flesh of her downed kill.
This caused Gregory a bit of alarm.
"No, you're only supposed to drink the blood. Everyone says you're only supposed to drink the blood!"
Jadavath growled and ripped a little of the meat off, but was unable to chew or swallow it when Gregory enforced his will upon her. Latching onto the throat, Jadavath drained the cow dry of all its energy giving blood.
Too impatient to even entertain the notion of bloodying again, Jadavath shrieked one last time as she opened her wings and took to the sky.
I am here. Come get me!

Since reaching his first Turn, Aricoth had been acting weird. He fidgeted more, and kept asking where the shiny female was. His blind eyes continuously darted around, seeking out something that he would never be able to see. Of course, Ku'rt was not prepared for what would happen. The blind blue was inside the weyr, away from the cold. Ku'rt was sitting at the desk that came with the personal weyr, reading some scroll he picked out from the library. He felt Aricoth's need for something... But he dismissed it as a desire to be outside. It was cold out, being winter, so Aricoth wasn't going to be going outside anytime soon.
Ku'rt was very wrongly proved when a sudden movement in the room on the other side of the wall alerted him to Aricoth's shifting. Luna, situated on the weyrling's head, started, and disappeared into between. Ku'rt looked up in confusion, and half-rose out of his chair. "Luna? Aricoth?" he asked, but the only thing he got in reply was the green fire lizard's washed-out image of a blue dragon outside. "Wait.. No..." Aricoth? What are you doing? Ku'rt asked, putting two and two together. The blue left the weyr to go outside, and with the fire lizard in tow.
Chase... was all that Aricoth said.
Ku'rt now stood up, very confused. He was going to follow the blue outside, but going the same way that the dragon did would be rather dangerous, even if the weyr was close to the ground. Chase...? Chase what? he asked, leaving the weyr in a quick fashion. He shut the door behind him with a dull thump, and briskly walked down the hallway.
Aricoth?! Ku'rt, with the simple directions of the green flitter, followed the blue outside the weyr, and down to the feeding pens. Once on the grounds, he scanned the area for Aricoth. What he saw was a green feasting on her kill. Oh.. not feasting... Blooding! Ku'rt's eyes widened as he understood what was going on. He had spent so much time on Earth... On Pern he should have gotten it right away! No, Aricoth, you can't! You can hardly fly... You're blind... You can't expect Luna to help you with flying and finding the green... In a desperate measure, Ku'rt started to run over to the blue.
Aricoth was burning up with a lustful heat. He couldn't see what he was doing, or where he was going, but he didn't need it. Luna was perched on his head, and he was able to decipher her plain images and emotions into directions for himself. She even sent him a picture of the wonderful green that was Rising. She was perfect and glowing... Though she was missing her front legs. So what? She was beautiful. Suddenly, Luna chirped, and sent Aricoth an image of Ku'rt to the side. Aricoth lowered his head and snarled at the blue weyrling.
I will Chase! the blind blue said, You will not stop me. I will try, with Luna's help because you won't help, he finished with a low growl. When Ku'rt paused out of shock, Aricoth took the advantage to hop away, landing on a goat and lowering his head to suck out the animal's blood. Luna squawked with excitement and flapped her wings. Aricoth felt the small gust of air on his head, and roared in response. Where was the green...?
I am here. Come get me!
Aricoth raised his head, looking around blindly. He couldn't see the green, but he wanted her badly. He knew she was shining beautifully, and he wanted to see that, but he would have to settle with Luna's vague mental pictures. Green Jadavath! Aricoth trilled, I will Chase! He added a roar, and if his eyes weren't so useless, they would be swirling red with lust.
"Aricoth!" Ku'rt called out, having been stopped by the blue moments before. The blue ignored him: preferring to blood a kill, and then Chase after the green. Thankfully for the open air, Aricoth didn't have a great chance of flying into something, unless the green decided to perform some crazy acrobatic stunts... Ku'rt hardly believed Aricoth would last a whole Flight anyway. The blue might end up crashing to the ground.

(I assumed it was nighttime, or close to it, since Gregory was trying to sleep. Or was that because of his injuries? I'll change it if need be.)
Zedoreth was an old brown, threadscored and dusty looking. He had been in many a Flight in his hay-day, and had won a number of them. However, in the past decade or so, as L'gar's sex drive dwindled, Zed's went into a hibernation of sorts. Of course, dragons bodies don't age as humans do, and the primal urges can never be erased. So on that night, the call of the green from the feeding pens suddenly triggered the need to Chase, after so many years of near celibacy.
L'gar was quickly awakened by the familiar feeling in his chest, and regions further south.. Zed, is that you..? He said, rubbing his eyes blearily as he got out of bed. He was almost certain the first wave had been some kind of cruel dream, but as he wandered over to the weyrledge, another wave came over him as his brown shot past him into the sky.
I Chase. Go. Zedoreth's usually clear and sensible thoughts were fuzzy now, clouded with a surge of emotions that he was all too glad to feel again. The brown took pleasure in his approach to the female in the sky, rolling and banking his bulk around as if flying was a novelty to him once more. As he came to level out, the big male let out a bestial roar, letting both Jadavath and any other suitors know, he intended to win this Flight.
L'gar moaned as he turned to leave his room, seeking Gregory. The trance of flightlust began to overpower him as he hustled down the stairs. He was confused as to why he wasn't going to a weyr at first, since most of the riders would be sleeping by now. Then it came to him as he reached the bottom floor and looked to the infirmary. He had heard one of the greenriders had had a nasty spill out on the side of the mountain, and the dragons.. it was all he could piece together at the moment as he was engulfed in another wave of lust, driving him into the sick ward. Spying Gregory on one of the infirmary beds, L'gar cringed inwardly. The man was already injured for Faranth's sake! Could his dragon pick no better time? But the brownrider was in no state to argue with the urges he was feeling as he continued to edge towards the man in mimicry of his dragon.

Jadavath looked back to study her suiters with satisfaction. She had managed to attract the attention of a large and obviously skilled Brown, not to mention she had enticed a blind Blue off the ground as well. Twirling in satisfaction and flirtation, Jadavath flared her wings and rolled higher. The air was crisp and cold, but that did little to calm the burning desire for a good Chase.
Spinning mid-air, Jadavath dove below the males before flicking up behind them and tapping their hides with her forked tail. Then the Green spiraled upwards and took off and flew away from the males in a teasing manner. Jadavath was determined to have her fun and try to make this worth all of their whiles.
Flipping her wings open to their full potential, Jadavath turned mid-twirl and suddenly dashed to the side. She knew the males would catch on quick, but for now, perhaps her actions had caused them some confusion or delay. She wanted to see how they managed to catch up with her once she was ahead.
---
Gregory thrashed. There was something hot and stifling on him, and he wanted it off. In the back of his mind, Gregory was scared and unsure, but the rest of his lust addled brain didn't care much. Snarling, the Green rider was able to finally get the blanket off of his sensitive flesh and feel the cool air that rushed to meet him.
His hair was a sweaty disheveled mess since his hair tie had been removed before attempting sleep. The simple pair of army sweats Gregory had worn to bed seemed heavy and cumbersome causing Gregory to whine.

The blue's mating lust was kept at bay by the willpower of Ku'rt. However, as the young blue rose into the sky, following after the two-legged green, Ku'rts shoulders sunk. He was now genuinely worried and confused. Aricoth was a silly blind blue; how could he Chase? And in the dark to boot? Not to mention that Ku'rt was worried for the blue's life. He had never been alone and flying. Luna's directions weren't good enough either--Oh shards. A warm wave of lust washed over Ku'rt. Yes, it was a Flight, and riders tended to congregate during Flights... The weyrling had to find this greenrider.
Aricoth snorted as he pressed his smaller wings into action. Luna had let go of his head, and was now flying alongside the blue, he noticed with a quick image from the fire lizard. She sent him an image of the green flying ahead, and one of an old, large brown behind. Though he couldn't see the competitor behind him, Aricoth growled in response. Green... Chase. The blue whined, a guttural noise that bubbled out of his throat. He would have this green, no matter what it took.
What was the rider's name? Gregory? Ku'rt thought, making his way back into the weyr. A greenrider, a greenrider. Ku'rt had heard of a greenrider in the infirmary for taking a nasty fall on one of the cliffs outside the weyr. Was that him? Some unseen force pulled him in the direction of the infirmary. "Mmm..." Ku'rt moaned, running his fingers through his hair, damp with sweat. "Greg..." he muttered, turning a corner to see L'gar heading into the infirmary. L'gar, the brownrider that was also in the Flight?
The little green flitter tired with the continued effort. She didn't have the big, strong wings of a dragon, but she was pushed onward by Aricoth's impatient growling. An image of the green rising upward graced the blind blue's mind. He spread his wings to gain more lift, the air billowing under the thin membranes to carry the blue up. Even with the agility that blue's naturally possessed, though unmatched by the greens, Aricoth's blindness rendered him unable to perform such feats. Rather than try to follow the green's summersaults and flips, Aricoth was content with turning on a wingtip, blindly using the green fire lizard's directions. Which tended to be off. Aricoth weaved back and forth in the air, using his sense of smell to keep track of the heated green.

Zedoreth watched the green twirl and loop around in the sky, and he rumbled a sultry approval. He followed her with his eyes as far as he could as she went under him and his blue competitor, until he had to pop his head back up and carefully peer over his wing. At her teasing touch he pumped his wings harder to gain some height, pleased to see that she was also soaring towards the clouds. It was that intuition that had won him many a Flight in his younger years, and he hoped it would make him stand out against his sprightly blue adversary; blind though he was.
Forcing his bulk up into the sky after Jadavath was not tiresome just yet - Zedoreth did have a sprint or two in him - but those swift turns would mean a pulled muscle or some undignified, aerobatic clumsiness for sure. Instead, knowingly losing some ground, the brown made a rather lazy looking turn, only to drop heavily for a few lengths and finally spring up with that gained momentum. His broad wings easily pushed him back up to the female's altitude with only a few seconds of lost time.
--
L'gar felt badly for the poor bedridden man he had found in his lusty daze, and he watched him wrestle the blanket off of himself with much ado. Gregory's whining would have been unforgivably annoying if L'gar was in his right mind, but with the waves of his dragon's emotions crashing in on him, they were little more than an innocent cry for help. Until Zedoreth had his green in his grasp, however, the brownrider had to keep his hands to himself. Eying Gregory hungrily, he instead resigned to shifting his feet and tapping his fingers slightly against his pants.

Jadavath barrel rolled in pleasure. The males were doing well. The blind Blue was executing almost pin-point turns showing his youth and exuberance. The larger Brown may have employed slow languid moves, but they showed insight and good instinct. Jadavath had a hard choice indeed. If she were able, the Green would have been grinning with mirth. As it was, Jadavath was feeling flirty in her lust and with a flick of her tail, twirled to the left and rose higher.
The Green was so high she began to feel the coolness of the air and reveled in the feel of it against her heated hide. Flipping, Jadavath twirled and spiraled downwards swiftly. Her wings were half open so that she would not hurtle towards the earth below, but she was still falling at a respectable speed. She was growing increasingly tired and knew that she would have to stop soon.
Leveling off, Jadavath looked back at her suitors and let her gaze flip back and forth between them. Finally she decided.
Brown Zedoreth, come and claim me!
---
Gregory reached out. He couldn't stand it anymore. Jadavath had chosen, and he wanted the victor now. Gasping with his need, Gregory was barely able to get a single word out.
"Please."

Zedoreth rumbled softly as he watched Jadavath relish in her maiden Flight. She looked gloriously bright against the overcast sky and snow below, and all her twisting and turning did much to prove her skill. Climbing a higher into the atmosphere, the female suddenly reversed and begin a steady dive. The brown chasing her pumped his wings a little harder to catch up, trying to discern what her next move would be, but the green leveled off making Zed slow down.
Then came the message he had been waiting for! Without another thought, Zedoreth hastily caught up to his green, clasping her with his extremities and folding his wings tight, beginning their plummet to the earth.
--
In the infirmary, L'gar quickly grasped Gregory's hand as he reached out to him. Instead of pulling him out of bed, like any clear-minded individual would do, he carefully lowered himself down onto the weyrling, propping himself up on an elbow. Cocking his head, the brownrider gave his new partner a rough kiss as he caressed his neck and chest with his free hand.
Finally realizing what was actually happening, and having no way to stop it, the orderly that was on duty in the infirmary grabbed one of the folding partitions. Maneuvering the apparatus as quickly has he could, the man made sure that anyone entering the room would not be immediately greeted with such an intimate sight. Luckily, there were no other patients staying in the infirmary, so the orderly quickly picked up a 'Do Not Disturb' sign and closed the door tightly behind him, hanging the sign on the door before leaving.

Chasing the green with as much strength that his small, and underdeveloped wings could muster, Aricoth let out a low growl. He was still Chasing blindly. Luna faltered. She was tiring, as was Aricoth, but wasn't going to let the green get away. The blue opened his mouth in a grin. Jadavath wasn't going to get away from him! However, Luna was. Her little body shuddered with the effort of keeping up with the other dragons. She fell behind, with a short squawk, and left Aricoth on his own. The blind blue now was helpless. Jadavath fell into a spiraling dive, but Aricoth couldn't see it.
Ku'rt lurked around the infirmary. He had slunk into the large room, like L'gar had, and paced around Gregory's bed. The poor rider was stuck in the infirmary while his green Rose? How unfortunate--but Ku'rt was unable to think of anything else but the greenrider. Aricoth's lust crossed over the mental link to fill the blue weyrling. And he was way too young to participate in this, but Aricoth insisted. A young Chaser indeed. Aricoth--! he thought, gazing painfully at the rider stuck in bed. L'gar wasn't of interest to Ku'rt. As far as he was concerned, he wasn't there.
Brown Zedoreth, come and claim me!
At those words, Aricoth screeched. He was completely off course now. He didn't know that Jadavath dived. He was sure he was still following her, but that didn't matter now. Rage fueled his flying now, and the blue blindly dove. He wanted to land, and lament over his loss of the radiant green. He dove, unknowingly heading into the forest on the outskirts of the weyr. His wings no longer wanted to hold his tired body. Aricoth roared, folding his wings halfway against his body.
His dragon's sudden reckless dive caused Ku'rt to forget all that had just happened. Zedoreth won, leaving L'gar the prize of Gregory. Ku'rt ran out of the infirmary without a second thought, or a look backwards. Aricoth, Aricoth, what are you doing? he exclaimed, trying to find where his blue went. [No, wait, stop! Aricoth! You don't know what you're doing! Stop! Ku'rt dashed through the weyr. He had no clue where his dragon was, but that wasn't going to stop him.
I failed! I lost! Aricoth crooned, still attempting to land. He felt the tips of the trees hitting his legs and body. Frightened, Aricoth flared his wings. The blue ended up tumbling into the trees, as his wings became caught in the branches. Ku'rt! the blue called, crashing through the trees to lay on the forest ground in a defeated lump.
