Can anyone give me a quick recap? I am SO confused on what's happening.

Like...mostly...the sport color contest (()), and what's the general status of the Weyr? I know What I can glean from the threads (ooooh, greenbebbehs.) but I want to know the stuff that goes on OUTSIDE the threads.

And...uh. Yeah. I missed you guys! I still may be sporadic in posting (see once or twice a week between turns as I gank teh interwebs at my friend's apartment...) but I'mma try to keep up with y'all.

Okay, brace yourself, here comes a giant post, complete with links if applicable.

Basically, we want to add noncanon colors, because that makes it fun. There was a poll up about two months ago, to see what others would like. It's been decided on a yes to sports, but not too many, and nothing too crazy like "hot pink and pompus purple" and other stuff about plausible causes for the colors, or even subspecies, like Elonverrilth's raptor bebbehs, that came about, and Miniature Raptor Bebbehs later. So there was the sport color contest, to give members a chance to create a color for the weyr, with first prize being their candidate Impressing the first of the new color...

This was supposed to be planned out before the green clutches hatched, but because we couldn't do much with Topaz gone, it didn't really pick up until later, so we were a little scrambled. But anyway, the contest ended, the winners were announced, and whether or not we use said colors in the hatching is yet to be seen (sekrits sekrits!) but that's not the point.

Yes, my green Crucith Rose and was caught by Seeth, while Wesku's green Jadavath Rose and was caught by Zedoreth only a week OOC before. So technically Crucith's clutch is hatching earlier, but that's partially because of the doctor's visit she had, involving x-rays and biting Gorth.

Houka's Gold Wher, Samarsk Ran and was Caught by Iggesk, and the clutch is here. The hatching took place on July 22nd, where four whers bonded, one wher went wild, and was claimed by the Government to use for study. The most exciting thing that happened there would have to be my candidate, the prostitute Keltin being mauled by his own wher and taken to the infirmary by Iggent.

However, in the past, the Storm Plot is still going on, though it has been moved from that thread to towns around Rocky with riders divided up into wings, and others staying behind to help with the refugees.

There is also an Advertising Contest going on, that I could easily win if I tried, which kinda shows how many people have entered, does it? >w> But anyway...

Houka and I have been promoted to Admins, on behalf of Topaz, who stopped by briefly in the D&S forum to let us know what was going on. She did end up having some fun with us in the cbox, but ultimately she's won't be around again for who knows how long... Before that though, the sidebars weren't updated and stuffs, because Faizah didn't know how to do that, so when Topaz came back, she made us Admins to help Faizah with that. The sidebar says mod though. Because we aren't really... In charge and stuff. Anyway, before that, I was just the Aesthetic Mod, to make the lists and stuff look pretty. :'D Check them out!

Did I miss anything...? I feel like there hasn't been anything major going on in any other threads, not to mention I don't remember when you up and disappeared, so I dunno how far back to go... Anyway... :3

Ah, Phazzy forgot to mention that Samari is no longer with us. Something happened in the past and Samari decided to leave. Thus her characters were adopted out to those of us who were active at the time. I'm just adding this in case you weren't here when that happened.

I adopted Wherhandler Samari of Gold Samarsk and Bronze Orn.
Faizah adopted Weyrling Kumiko of Green Raynith and Green Hikari, and Weyrling Tahli of Blue Relanth and Brown Darwin.
Wolfayne adopted Weyrling K'riv of Brown Molth and Green Kara, and Weyrling H'van of Green Cherath and Blue Dart. However, Wolfayne is thinking of letting Weyrling K'riv become an adoptable again.
And, Wherling Dylan of Blue Dylansk and Blue Cosmo remains ownerless and an adoptable.

Ah, well. Yeah, I saw the green clutches! It's exciting. Mmm, dragonbebbehs. ((Heh. But it almost makes me glad that I don't think any of my dragons can clutch. Then again, I've a pair of queen lizards...))

Oooh. And the wherlings are ADORABLE. I shall have to see if someone -coughcoughphazzy- would make one for Trinsk...I'll stalk the request threads.

HMM. Well, okay, so none TOO much has gone on.

ONE MORE QUERYYYYY. It's about the sport colors. ((And here's something unrelated. Did anyone follow the color naming tradition? You know, g-colors for female or 'G'irl dragons, and B-colors for 'B'oy dragons? B-ronze, B-lue, B-rown? G-old, G-reen? Guess not. Or am I the only one who ever noticed that? XD))

So the winning colors were yellow, black and Storm? Now I have a question. Since I've currently GOT a black dragon, do I have to change Skirth? Or since his reason for being the color he is is different, is he fine? ((Melanism versus...genetic something-or-other?))
This is assuming the colors are used.

((Hehe. Honestly, I loved silver, platinum, and Amythest the best. But that is personal opinion! I like the storms a lot too. Anyway. Enough rambling, self!))

Hmm. So there are wherlings, though...I feel it be time for Miss Bitch- I mean Trinity...and Sasha to go say hi. Mostly because I love me some frankenwher and his/her pretty Russian. Lulz.

Also, it SERIOUSLY just occoured to me that I have NO female dragons. Wow. That's...strange. I may have to make a female candidate for the next clutches...

Lawl, you're not the only one who noticed that. Anne actually put that in so she could remember which ones were male, and which were female. Silly ol' Anne. I have yet to see anyone try to follow that... Apart from me. But my weyr never got anywhere, so it doesn't count. :V

Yes winning colors are yellow, black, and storm. Nope, Skirth is a brown, just with melanism. He's good. -thumbs up- Still a brown, even if he looks black.

Blacks are mutated browns, but they gender identify as female (although they're technically asexual...they're kind of the anti-whites, in a way).
