History: Dylan was a normal boy living in Sweden. He'd graduated fairly high up in his class in school. It was during one fierce winter that he found his firelizard egg. It hatched in his coat on the way home. Dylan had a fish he'd caught in a cooler. He cut it up and fed his new blue. He named him Cosmo. It was a week later that F'lar took him to Pern.
He'd ended up at Southern Weyr, which was the complete opposite of his native Sweden. It was late one night when the clutching Gold wher had called out. He didn't know the difference. He ran up to the Gold mother, and she took one look at him. She stepped away from the clutch just as a blue wher hatched. The blue ran up to Dylan and took a small nip from his hand, lapping up the blood.
"Dylansk. Happy. Food?"[/color]
The young pair immediately hit it off. They stayed at Southern for about 6 months. They made a lot of friends. It was after the sixth month that Dylansk had problems. The little blue had finally shown signs of something they called cystic fibrosis on Earth. Dylansk had mucus form in his lungs from time to time, making it extremely hard for him to breathe. Dylan, Dylansk, and Cosmo were sent back to Earth, to Rocky Weyr, for the improved treatment Dylansk could receive.
