A Night Out on the Town

I posted my ideas over here, basically saying that a few of the candidates, weyrlings, and/or riders manage to convince Rafael to sneak them out of the weyr and into the towns around Rocky--probably Kalispell. Anyway, the idea is that Pernese and Earthian residents are sick of being stuck inside the weyr (gonna get a thread up about this in a bit) because of the events of the Storm Plot, and come up with a devious plan for Rafael...

Perhaps they threaten one of his precious books or something, but he agrees to take the offending 'children' out of the weyr and into town, as per their pleading. The weyrleaders know nothing of this. Because the unique Pernese names would stand out, Pernese town-goers are given more Earth-like names by their Earthian peers.

So, for this is be any fun, and work, I need a nice combination of Pernese and Earthian volunteers. Anyone want to join? Candidates, weyrlings, riders, etc, anyone is good. Because they are going to town, and do want to keep Rocky on the down-low, no dragons or firelizards. Not to mention that any Pernese with Pernese clothing will be given more modern clothes to blend in.

And I forgot to mention, but I'm thinking that the opening post will be Rafael taking everyone into town, giving them all a few instructions on what to do, when to meet back up, etc, then sending everyone off in groups of 2-3, and people can give out names that way.

If anyone wants to decide on groups here and now, please be my guest.

Rafael will be on his own, probably hanging out in a bookstore, and Hy'ka's open to go with anyone.

La'as and N'lon are sticking together for the most part. Nakia will join the group with the hottest guys and Virika will join any group. As long as she gets to drink.

Hmm... Adair would love to go exploring the new world around him. And if Lesla can be dragged, then she'll be okay to have a look around town as well. Adair and Lesla would be together since I'll have Adair dragging Lesla to join the group that would be going for a night out of the Weyr. XD

Wouldn't it be fun if after all the orders for the vairous flits to stay put where they were in the weyr, they popped into existence in front of Theirs from between after say... a few hours had passed? That would cause some excitement there but I don't know. *shrugs*

Oh! Oh! Nomics and Daniel would LOVE to go!!! maybe Shasta too, but i dont know if its in her character... but they are fine with going with anyone. they are also game for any form of enjoyment. But no strip clubs for Dan. he's a minor =3

J'kent - He won't actually leave the weyr, but if its okay, he could play the sympathetic teacher and help everyone sneak out. He'll cover for them while they're gone!

Yes! I agree with flitters annoying theirs after a few hours. They pop into existence in the middle of a rave... That would be hilarious.

XD a rave... that'll be chaotic as well with some folks screaming "Look out! Monters! Run for your lives!" and some folks going, "Ooo, look at that! Aren't they fascinating?" as they crowd over the riders/weyrlings/candidates with their flits. Then of course, there's the few folks with camera phones and clicking away pictures of the flits and their owners. XD

@wolfy: Sure, Lyrah can tag along with Adair and Lesla.

I can throw Nocia in here. She's got to do something to get out, now that she's on Earth. Also I'm planning on an animal shelter visit at some point, so if anyone wants to go along there, they are welcome.

Ooo, animal shelter. Didn't think of that. The animal shelter, Adair might be able to get his injured wolf pup from there. But first, I'll have to wait and see what Faizah decides about Adair probably acquiring a wolf pup for a pet.

Not that I have very many Pernese characters, but I'm absolutely certain R'ner would LOVE to explore...and possibly even Ari or Trinity, even if it's just an excuse for Trinity to get out and away from Trinsk.

Yippee! Faizah gave the go ahead for Adair to acquire a wolf pup. Now the question is, would an animal shelter have an injured wolf pup in their midst? Meh, whether or not the animal shelter would have an injured wolf pup, I'll still have my characters visit the animal shelter just to browse or maybe find a pet that they might like to have. I'm definite about Adair getting an injured wolf pup (that's the condition that Faizah stated for Adair acquiring the wolf pup). Lesla I'm not looking for her to acquire another pet. Samari, I'm not sure. And Guin will still have his hands full with Arwen Keilani and Guinsk, so no for him as well.

By the way, quick question, IC-wise is this happening before or after Maria's Hatching? If this is after Maria's Hatching, how much time has passed since then?

A shelter with an injured wolf pup? Unlikely. Youd be better, sense wise, to find the pup on the way back to the weyr.

Anyone willing to go with N'lon? Or invite him along?

*nods* Yeah I figured I'd ask just in case. Anyways, Adair would have to find the injured wolf pup probably somewhere in the forest near the Weyr in one of his explorations or, like you said, on their way back to the Weyr. *nods*

Samari and Guin could take him along with Guin acting as guide for them. (Although, in real life, I've never been anywhere near the Rockies. XD)
