Raynith had been resting peacefully in her weyr when the pain hit. A stabbing jolt in her abdoment. Her eyes began whirling the colors of pain as she spread her wings. Her time had come. She needed to get to the hatching grounds.
Raynith called out to Hers. mineKumiko! My time has come... Meet me in the sands! Raynith reached out once more as she gained the skies. Tardith! Our eggs come!
Kumiko was in the main hall, enjoying a lunch of beef flavored ramen with a hard boiled egg. Raynith's sudden pain hit her hard. She paniced momentarily, before Raynith told her what was going on. With that information Kumiko jumped up, her lunch forgotten, and raced to meet her beloved green at the hatching grounds.
Kumiko found Raynith already in the sands. Pain was radiating off the weak green as she struggled to lay her eggs. Kumiko walked slowly toward Raynith. When she reached her side Kumiko layed her hand calmingly on the green's heaving side. At the same time Kumiko sent Raynith waves of reassurance and love. The japanese girl moved with the green as Raynith buried her first egg and moved a small distance away to lay her second egg.
