She is actually average size, though she thinks that she's overwieght. She wears little, if any, make up, except maybe some gold eyeshadow and some concealer every once in a while.
Picture: I gotta find one....
History: Brittany was an army brat for the first few years of her life. Her mother, Tabatha Moore, was a single mom and in the army stationed in the Netherlands, just a hop skip and a jump away from Germany, Amsterdam, London, Paris, Luxemburg, and all those other awesome places situated in Europe. She loved to look at the castles that populated the land, taking pictures and going on countless tours.
Her father was Thad Copeland. He, too, was in the army, but insead he was stationed in no other than the Pentagon in Washington DC. Though he and Tabatha had planned on getting married, they had broken up before Brittany was born on october 21st, 1995 in Fort Belvor, Virginia. A custody battle was waged for a while, until she was about two. For a period of time, she had stayed with her Nana and Papaw, or her father's parents. They doted on her, and her Papaw still does when he had the chance. Nana died in mid-2010, of various reasons, mostly due to the fact her lungs were destroyed after years of smoking and secondhand smoking.
Afterward, they left her the Netherlands, where Brittany was the popular girl in school. Yes, They had school for 3, 4, 5, 6 year olds. She learned to write, do computer applications such as Paint, and also speak German, even if she quickly forgot how to speak the language when she left. She travelled to the states every summer to visit her father, her stepmother Merry, and later her little sister Haylee.
When she was five, she got some stunning news. She was going to have a little brother or sister! She was so happy with the news, she helped out with as much as she could. She even helped choose the name! Her little sister was born in May, her name Regan Moore.
Tabatha left the army then, packing the kids up and moving them to their granmother and -father's home in Vicksburg, Mississippi. She left for several months while Brittany started school again in Kindergarden and regan stayed home to be taken care of. Brittany was popular there as well, but not nearly as much. She started to read books finally after she learned in second grade, a year behind her classmates. She started to read, and hardly stopped. He first chapter book, ironically, was Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
In fourth grade, she moved once more. Her mother was transfered to Huntsville, Alabama, the famous Rocket City. She quickly slipped from straight A+ student to nearly failing in the demanding city. They pulled her up in time to save her from failing completely, but she didn't finish the year staight A's. After that fateful year, she was back as the most book-logged girl in the entire school, the smartest, most logical student. And she stayed that way.
She's in no way athletic and is often the slowest runner or weakest one in her PE classes. She tried though. Whe she got into 7th grade, she tried for the Volleyball team and was on the Track and Field Team. But everyone that tried was. She just didn't get to play much, and never placed big.
She also began to play the B flat Clarinet in 7th grade, and was often the refered to as a very good player, maybe the best in the class. That reputation only grew as she progressed to the adveanced band.
She graduated 8th grade with flying colors, advancing to 9th grade and complete advanced classes, JROTC (her mom made her do that one) and, once more, German as her language elective. It was near this time that she came in contact with firelizards.
She had always been interested in mythology, from ancient Egyptian to Roman to Greek, and she knew all anout the legends of dragons. There was a injured one in the backyard one day, she found it only because it was freaking out her two dogs, Lilly and Violet. It was the same color as her grass. It freaked her out even more than fireworks freaks Violet out. And that's a lot.
She didn't know what to do at first. She just sat there and stared. A tiny little dragon thing was laying here hissing at her and her dogs. What was going on?! Her mom had taken Regan to gymnastics (she was a lot more athletic) and she had maybe a half hour before they came home. In the meantime....
She couldn' just let them see this! What would happen to it? She's have to hide it, but hide it somewhere where no one would find it. She knew the perfect place. The shed. Hardly anyone buy her went in there. And it would be easy enough to get to.
Her first attempts to rescue it was disaster. She was snapped at, nearly bitten, and another one, a bright brownish yellow one appeared and batted at her that way. She fled inside, but came out again, a broom in her hand and a thick leather jacket on her. She managed to "sweep" the little thing up and into the shed, where she disposed of the too small and ruined shirts she had found inside and had stuffed into the pockets. Using her famed logic, she went back inside and got some leftover chicken from the night before as well as some ham slices. they'd go unnoticed and it was asy to explain something to cover it up.
Life continued same for the family, despite the fact Brittany held a secret in the shed. The little tiny green dragon had sliced one of its wings, and the other one must have been taking care of it. Brittany found red feathers and a snake skin around the area. Slowly thy cam as close to trusting her as it was obvious they would get. Slowly the dragon let nature heal itself.
A month into her secretive care of them, the two disappeared. Brittany was sad, since she had come to love their watchful company. But not for long.
F'lar came soon after, a tall man with black hair, grey eyes, and white streaks. He explained at the door what had happenned and who the the firelizards were (they were actually two of Mirrim's firelizards, and the Dragonwoman had been hysterical when she couldn't find them, despite their reassurances). He asked her the fatal question. Did she want to be a dragon Candidate. There was a dual clutch in the Sands at a Weyr in the Rockies. She immediately said yes. Tabatha wasn't so sure.
They talked long and hard into the night, and finally agreed that it was a good idea for the young woman. She had to visit, of course, and she had to keep the secret from her father, who was just retired from the army.
She happily packed her clothes, most of which were jeans and tee shirts. She took her laptop, and, after much begging, her newer dog, Violet Moon Moore.
