Well, no one seems to be using this part of the forum yet so I might as well say a little something about me.
I'm Houka Ryuu, but you may just call me Houka for short. I usually use the same account when I join other sites or a variation of Houka Ryuu like, HoukaRyuu, Houka-Ryuu, or Houka_Ryuu. So, chances are you know me.
I've been RPing since 1999 and I mostly join Dragonrider RPGs whether they focus on Pernese dragons or dragons of a different sort. I would like to think that over the years, my RPing style had progressed from that of an amateur (a 4 sentence paragraph) RPer, to that of at least a well-above average RPer. One thing that I developed over the years is that I'm now nit picky over details, as you can see with my characters' profiles.
Anyways, I like to read Manga and watch Anime. I also like to watch JDrama and KDrama. The latest KDrama series that I watched was Playful Kiss. <3 I'm fond of reading sci-fi and fantasy books. I've read all the DRoP books of Anne McCaffrey and Todd McCaffrey, except for Dragongirl. Although to be honest, my first book series that I read was Mercedes Lackey's Heralds of Valdemar since the first book that I bought and owned was Magic's Pawn in 1991. However, dragons are my fave, so Dragonriders of Pern quickly overtook my love for Heralds of Valdemar.
I first learned of Rocky Weyr from MagiStream and joined with Lesla and Adair. However, because of circumstances, I was unable to actually RP my characters while Rocky Weyr was still active in MagiStream. When I heard of Rocky Weyr now having its own forum, I readily joined and brought over Lesla since there were no longer bronze dragons available. ^_^ Over time, I adopted (Samari) and created other characters (Guin, Adair, & Y'ume) and now, I currently have 5 characters that I RP with.
