History: Aurora was born and raised for 17 years in Seattle, Washington. There she met a lasting friend, and sometimes more, Kain. They remained friends for many years, even after Kain moved back to Kalispell after that summer in Seattle. Aurora even ran away from home to be back with her good friend Kain.
It was the two of them that found the three strange eggs. They lived together at the time and eagerly took them home. A few days later the strange eggs hatched. A blue to Kain and a green and brown for Aurora.
It wasn't long after that when F'lar showed up on the doorstep and beckonging them to Benden to Impress. There Aurora stood for the Gold egg, but instead was blessed with Faith, a lively and loving green.
But something wasn't right with Faith. A few weeks after the hatching and a few days before any defects in Gorth was detected, they all became aware of Faith's strange ability.
The green was romping with some of her clutchmates. The gold was also playing, and leapt onto Faith's back. She began to lose her balance on the small green, her claws digging in for purchase. Faith cried out in pain, yelling at the gold to get off of her. The gold immediately got herself off of Faith, her eyes swirling in confusion and fear. Faith, still angry and hurt, grumbled that the gold weyrling should go jump off a ledge, which the gold turned and went to do exactly that.
Faith thankfully told the gold to get safely down when she saw that her gold sister was really going to jump. The gold's bonded, and the Weyrleaders and Weyrling Master looked at Faith as if she was something to be severely feared. She was only a green! How was it she could control a gold in such a way?
Aurora was horrifyed at what almost happened to the gold. And when Lessa and F'lar asked her and faith up to the Queen's Weyr, Aurora was sure something wrong had happened. Had the young gold actually been injured?
Lessa, upon their arrival at the queen weyr, asked Faith to demand Ramoth to do something. Faith tried to command Ramoth to bugle, but nothing happened. Lessa seemed confused. Then F'lar asked Mnementh to come, and then proceeded to ask Faith the same thing, only targeting his bronze this time. Faith commanded the same thing, and Mnementh bugled. His eyes swirled a dangerous shade of anger, confusion and fear when he looked at the green weyrling.
After a few more days of experimenting with the extents of Faith's ability, F'lar and Lessa deemed that Aurora and Faith would return to Earth, to Rocky Weyr. They, along with bronze Gorth and Kain, would be their first residents.
Faith is able to command all other dragons, with the exception of elder golds, to do whatever she wants. It is a powerful ability, and one that doesn't deserve a degree of fear, but also respect. The doctors at Rocky Weyr called it Forced Rapport. faith can command only other dragons, not people. But when Faith commands something, the dragon's bonded can not tell the dragon anything else and be listened to. They are effectively cut out of their dragon's mind.
Aurora can control Faith to a point. Normally she keeps Faith from abusing the power, but when Faith is very determined even Aurora can not stop her. A few times this has caused serious injury to a dragon, or their bonded.
Faith finds her ability as unique as she. For what other green has the ability to control a gold? Her ability is her badge of honor, and in keeping her place as the lead female dragon, and Aurora's job as Weyrwoman. During her flights, Faith uses her forced rapport excessively, making sure that only the males she deems worthy can chase her. However, often enough times Faith has commanded all other males to cease thier chase so that only brown Jackaloth can win.

Dragon Defect/Injury: Faith is unlike any other green on Pern or Earth. She is quite like a Gold, in the sense that dragons are forced to listen to her. All dragons except elder golds, are fforced to listen to this small green when she demands it.
Firelizard Name: Gloria (Impressed late June, 2007)
Firelizard Color: Green (#4ca172)
Personality: Gloria is a strange green. She is cheerful and ambitious, but can be demanding to an extreme. She has to be the queen bee of greens, including even the green dragons. If any other green takes her spotlight, Gloria is likely to attack with fangs and claws unsheathed.
Firelizard Name: Fudge (Impressed late June, 2007)
Firelizard Color: Brown (#432103)
Personality: Fudge is a devoted flit. Rather than waste his time with chasing and losing or winning, he spends his time with His and HisBigGreenQueen. Once in a while he may chase, and if he wins he is a very fatherly flitter, even going to far as to help raise and protect the eggs and hatchlings.
